I have been a customer of this salon for many years. Through all changes and updates I have always felt that they provide the best service no matter the situation. All employees are very well educated in all aspects of the services they offer and they provide amazing results. They are always staying on top of all the latest trends and each time I go in there [about 2 times a month] there is something new that I am being shown. I love that the technicians are also there for help when you're not quite sure what you want. I personally see Teresa [the manager] and she is always taking the time to pick out a couple colors she thinks would look best for the time of year. With all of the possible options, you can sometimes get overwhelmed so I end up looking at what she's chosen and go with one of them. Since the updates to the salon, it has made the space more inviting. Mike [the new owner] has done a fantastic job working with his team and the technicians to make the space comforting, clean and relaxing. I recently got married and took my entire bridal party and family there. Just as I knew would happen, they made the night incredible and went above and beyond to provide anything we needed. I have been a regular client at Studio 47 for the past 9 years (under the old ownership until present). The manager, Theresa, has been my regular nail technician for that entire time. She has always gone out of her way to make clients feel valued and respected. She has an excellent memory, and easily makes conversation with regular clients about their lives and families. The new owner has done a beautiful job updating the space, and it is now a comfortable, welcoming salon that is clean and well-managed. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I have taken my young daughter (now age 5) there with me several times, and the staff is patient and kind with her, as well as other children I have seen. The owner, Mike, is a constant presence, always helping where he can around the shop and chatting with clients. He even answered the seemingly endless questions of my daughter with patience and a smile. Their work is top notch, and their prices are very reasonable. I have been going to Studio 47 (old China Nails) for many years. Teresa has been taking care of me ever since my daughter told me about the studio. The studio has always been inviting, the work is excellent, the space clean and their pricing competitive. One of the things I like best ( other than their work) is the feeling of camaraderie once I walk in. Many times there have been conversations between customers and the employees where much kidding and joking goes on as well as serious discussions...feels like home. Mike (new owner) has painstakingly renovated the shop and wanted to know if the items going in were to our liking. The transformation is amazing. Recently my daughter got married and took her bridesmaids to have their mani/pedi's done at the shop. They went over and above to make it special...right down to the homemade egg rolls...yum! I have been a client of Studio 47, formerly China Nails, for over 10 years. As a longtime client, I was thrilled to see the amazing new atmosphere and upgrades provided by the new owner, Mike. To my surprise, Mike is a former neighbor of mine, whose kids went to school with my kids. I know from personal experience what a nice family man the new owner is. I have always been treated respectfully and professionally at this salon, whether I come dressed professionally from work or in sweat clothes from the gym. Theresa, Manager, usually does my nails, and she is flawless. However, Tina has done my nails and also does a great job. This place is absolutely fabulous. I was lookin for a good place to get dip powder done since my old place did not do it. Studio 47 is close to my house so I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. They have a huge selection of colors for gel, powder, and regular polish. Probably one of the biggest selections I have seen. The staff is super nice and great at what they do. I originally was only going to get my nails done with the powder here and then go to my other place to get my pedicure but i was so impressed with how they did my nails that i came back the next day for a pedicure. I have already recommended studio 47 to a few friends and I highly recommend that anyone reading this gives it a try too. It is for sure going to be my regular spot now. read more

I have had the pleasure of stumbling upon this nail salon and meeting very talented nail technicians! Theresa, Amy, and Tina have all done my nails and I cannot be more happy with their work, the gel nails are my go to! They are even so welcoming that my bridal party and I got our manicures and pedicures done the day before my wedding and they allowed me to bring snacks/champagne and they set up a table with flowers and cookies for us to enjoy. I've been going to Teresa for years and she does a fabulous job! She is the best! Extremely good at her job and very kind! This was my first time going to Studio 47 on State. I got gel acrylic nails. The length and shape were done exactly how I wanted them to look. I've had them done for a week now and none have popped off like previous acrylics I have gotten at other places. I am very pleased with my nails and will definitely return. read more
