Hanna's Nails - Builder gel manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - West Chester, Pennsylvania

I loved this place when I first started coming but I think they might have hired someone new and she really hurt my hands (see photos). She kept filing my skin even when she saw me jumping because of the pain. It was probably the worst manicure I've ever received and my fingers have been in a lot of pain after. Everyone is great - just make sure your appt isn't with Moon. read more

Do not listen to the good reviews. Horrible experience. Cheap products are used. I made an appointment for Saturday morning for a full set of acrylics. I wanted french tips. Made this extremely clear. I had a man do my nails and it took him 2 hours....and they look ugly and messy, and the next day my nails hurt still I had to pry the sides of the nails off my skin because the sides were glued to my skin He skipped trimming or taking care of my cuticles, he skipped the lotion/hand massage, all of it. He took 2 hours just to glue on Acrylics and hand paint the french tips....they look a mess. Every salon in 2023 has french tip acrylics that already have the white tips on them. All you have to do is glue them on. He informed me an hour into doing my nails "we have those too" ok why aren't you using them??? Wasted 2 hours of my time, cost $55 plus I felt obligated to tip. So $63 spent and 2 hours of my life wasted. Do not go here!! I will never be back. I should have stuck to my regular nail salon read more

first time here. came as a walk in.. salon is very nice and clean. the color choices for polish are very good. basic regular pedicure is as basic as it comes- no frills and maybe lasted 15 minutes read more

My first time at Hanna's Nails (619 East Gay Street) was dreadful. The technician file drilled aggressively and hurt me multiple times. I watched her paint the base coat halfway on all of the acrylic gel nails?? One nail broke less than 24 hours later. The finished paint product has bumps and black specks on all nails. Not detailed oriented at all - very messy and ugly around the cuticles. Rushed the appointment to fit in a walk in. Never coming here again. read more

Had a pedicure last week and it was a terrible job. The cuticles around my nails were barely trimmed and the polish is already coming off. Unfortunately, I won't go back. read more

I always come to this salon because it's clean, affordable, and has such friendly service. Tiffany is the sweetest and clearly cares for all her customers. I got my first gel manicure here and I'm so happy with it! Tiffany even taught me how to take it off at home. Highly recommend! read more

I booked an appointment for a regular manicure a few hours in advance and the salon was ready for me at my requested time. The technician used sterilized tools from a sealed packet and I was happy with their work. Despite this, I will probably not return because the salon smells overwhelmingly of acetone. I am asthmatic and found it very difficult to tolerate. read more

I booked a relatively last minute appointment on a Saturday for a full set of acrylics with gel polish. Never been here and didn't know what to expect... It was a great experience! The owner is super friendly and I sat for my appointment immediately. The technician did a fabulous job and he listened to my needs for a round square look including my "combo" polish request! I'll be back for my fills and future appointments for sure! read more

Very satisfied! Will definitely be back ! The place was very clean and the women there were very kind

Very friendly and not a long wait. The tech was nice and I was relaxed. Clean atmosphere as well. Unlike the salon at 202 and 926. L"@&'s!

Looking to "treat myself" for my birthday and found this nail salon on Yelp. The environment was great and all the workers were very friendly. I love my nails, though there are a few that are a little thick at the tips from the gel. When I get my nails done I don't want to chat. I like to read a book or scroll on social. Mimi saw that and let me just sit back and relax. I will say that they don't do any sort of massage for either the pedicure or the manicure. I always assumed that was something every salon did, so I was a little disappointed but that's probably on me. Over all great experience and the price wasn't crazy steep. read more

Got a set of tips on and they're barely past my fingertips and all uneven. The longer ones are crooked and rounded on one side and almost a coffin on the other. They started off the length I wanted but kept filing my nails down. Disappointed as I went there once before and liked my nails waste of money. read more

Always have a great experience here. Note that they only take cash but they do have a money machine inside if you come unprepared.

I just got a dip manicure at Hanna's and I am so pleased! I had gone several times to a nail salon around the corner. The results there had been hit or miss, often rushed, and the owner could be borderline rude, so I decided to try someplace new. Hanna's was wonderful. They obviously take pride in their establishment and the shop is very cute and clean. Tiffany and the rest of the staff were warm, welcoming, and just lovely! They took time to do the manicure well and checked several times to make sure I was happy with the shape, color, etc. The result is a beautiful, evenly applied, flawless manicure. I will definitely be back and if the future visits are as great, will make it 5 stars! read more

This was my first visit and I had a great experience! Everyone there was so nice - not just the people working there but the clients too. Jen did my nails - I get builder gel with gel polish - and she did an excellent job. She was very precise and obviously cared about her work. Booked my next refill appointment and getting a pedicure too! read more

I had my eyelashes done for my wedding this weekend. I paid $150.00 and they won't stop falling out. I had asked I just got them done, maybe the glue was bad? tiffany just blow me off and said that happens. I want my lashes done. I normally don't have the money. I put money aside and still no pretty lashes for my wedding. I won't be back. read more

I was hesitant on going to a new salon since my experience a couple weeks ago at a different place was HORRIBLE. BUT...... Hanna's nails was AMAZING, an older gentleman did my nails and he did such a great job. I didn't feel like he rushed my service and im so happy with the results. Two days into my gel manicure and they are chipped. Can't really call it a mani though because all I got was the gel, no cleaning of cuticles or anything. There's no drying station so my daughter had to keep her hands in front of two mini fans to dry- took forever. read more

Great staff, super welcoming. Hanna (not who the store is named after lol) did an amazing job. I have some weird nails after years and years of nail biting and she made my dip look awesome. Reasonably priced and would definitely recommend! read more

Best nail salon I have ever been to! I have been going here for the past year or two and have been to quite a few within Downingtown and West Chester area in the past and Hanna's Nails has the most excellent service. Love how friendly the environment is with Tiffany's warm welcome, as well as each staff going above and beyond to accommodate you. Tiffany also is amazing at communicating when booking an appointment and she follows up right away! I usually get liquid builder gel or sometimes dip and each nail technician does a phenomenal job. Highly recommend going here!(: read more

Today was my first time trying this salon. I am extremely happy with the pedicure I received. The place is warm and welcoming. I appreciate the ample parking too. I had a fantastic experience at the salon. I messaged the owner Tiffany on Yelp about a last minute appointment for a mani/pedi and she was quick to respond and fit me in the next day. She did a great job on my nails and was very reasonably priced. I was very appreciative of her effort! Salon was clean and well cared for. Thanks Tiffany! read more

After a few bad experiences with nail salons in the WC area I am so excited to finally call a place home. The outside may not be much, but the inside holds all the charm and efficiency you'll ever need. Eyebrows - I am so particular about my brows. After begging technicians to keep them full and tidy only to have them stripped to tiny pieces, I am not enthusiastic about going to nails salons for waxes. However, this place took such care and combed over my brows to make sure they were on fleek. After I told her I had sensitive skin she used makeup remover to blot off excess oil that was used after the wax. That kind of customer service should never be taken for granted. Pedicure - I usually get my toes done every couple of weeks, but on this occasion it had been a little over a month. My toes were rough and they looked like magic after my relaxing pedicure. They even offer bonus services like eyelash extensions. A lot of the ladies seemed like regulars and the environment felt so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to people searching for a "new home" for their cuticles, toes, and brows. read more

This place is awesome. I walked in with no appointment and got a mani, pedi done and they did such a good job. Everyone was so nice, and helpful. I didn't have an appointment, which I would recommend due to the volume of customers. The place is small but clean and inexpensive It really is West Chester's hidden gem. I wound up here on Friday morning based on Yelp reviews. I had planned on donating platelets at the Red Cross just up the street but was deferred due to low iron, so I had a couple of hours to kill before meeting a friend for lunch. This was just around the corner. I called and asked if they could take me for a pedicure and eyebrow wax on short notice. The woman on the phone (the owner, I think) said absolutely, so I headed over. They have an incredibly small parking lot, but there is on-site parking. If not, there's the shopping center about a two minute walk up the street. They have a good selection of polish, including OPI and Essie, which are my usually go-to choices. The woman who did my pedicure was wonderful, not rushed at all. To be completely honest, this was my first salon pedicure since Covid started, so my feet were in bad shape. I tried to apologize to her and she said it was no problem. She did not skimp on the foot and calf massage, and I thought at one point that I might be so relaxed I would fall asleep in the massage chair. After my toes were done, the owner did my brows and made sure they looked perfect. I'm not terribly fussy, but the last place I went left them a little too full, and Hanna made sure I was fully happy with the results. I left feeling like a new person to meet my old friend for lunch. The service was excellent and the price really reasonable. I will certainly be back if I'm looking for a pedicure and eyebrow wax in West Chester. read more

Update to my late review: I got my nails done Friday by meme. She did an awful job waxing my eyebrows. She took 1/2 an eye btow off. After getting home I realized how poorly my toes were painted. Now 5 days later I have 3 broken tips that were brand new tips. Got a new full set.... well I am minus a thumb nail and 4 other nails are already starting to come off. I am beyond pissed. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but her nails were unkempt and looked dirty. Well now I just look like I dont keep up my nails. Such a waste of $70 read more

Hanna's Nails - French Acrylic Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - West Chester, Pennsylvania

I went in for a gel mani and pedi. The lady who did my nails did an awful job. The toe nails look very clumpy and the nails are uneven and incredible short. My gel mani is not good either. She didn't paint the entire nail in some parts, so I am pretty sure this won't last very long. I didn't want her to cut my finger nails but she cut them instead of just filing them down when she said it was just to "make them even". The shop is nice looking, BUT they reuse their pedicure products which is VERY UNSANITARY. The lady did not even really massage my legs or feet. Overall not satisfied and will not go back. read more

I chose this salon based on all of the good reviews, but once I arrived I realized I should have chosen elsewhere. For starters, it is very small for a nail salon. Probably the smallest salon I've ever been to, so if that's an issue for some I wouldn't recommend this location. However, I'm not very picky about things like that as long as the service is up to par. The problem was the professionalism. Unless you are a regular, you are not going to be greeted when you walk in, nor are you going to be asked what you services you would like to receive. I scheduled an appointment over the phone two days before the day of the appointment. When I arrived I was 10 mins early. I was not greeted until about 5 minutes later and there was no receptionist desk or anything for me to check in. After I came in, three customers that were regulars I presume, were greeted right away and all serviced before me. After waiting more than ten minutes after my appointment, I left disappointed and very upset. I don't know if it was because they were understaffed or not but I feel as though if you arrive on time for a scheduled appointment you should be taken on time. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable. If you are new to this area I would not recommend this salon. read more
