*This is a black owned and operated business* Last night I booked my session online in less then 3 minutes. When I walked in today, the waiting room is designed to make you feel calm. The waxing area is clean and tidy. If it's your first time, I recommend booking a session with Erin. She was patient and kind throughout the process. Erin made sure I was happy with the results and gave me directions on how to properly care for my skin for the next 24 hours. Right now, you can get an extra 10% off a wax treatment when you check-in on the yelp app. Treat yourself to some pink starbursts when you check-out. Overall it was a sweet experience. Note: if you're driving to your appointment, give yourself an extra 10 minutes to find parking. It's a little tricky depending on the time of day. read more

I did some research on waxing in my area, and Kara's studio popped up and had great reviews - so I thought I would check the studio out, and I'm so glad I did! Kara makes the waxing process very comfortable, and her space is very warm and inviting (I love the pink everywhere vibes). I have very sensitive skin/reactions to waxing, and Kara checked in to make sure what I was experiencing was normal for me (rather than just ignoring it, which I greatly appreciated). She did a great job with overall hair removal, and I can't wait to return! read more

Parking is horrible, when I couldn't find a parking spot then finally got one. She told me I had to reschedule. Then told me I could still walk over so I walked a couple of blocks and the door was locked and she messaged me and said no she wasn't doing the appointment. I was very disappointed. Luckily I found another place close by that told me to walk right in. I will definitely not go back to this place. read more

I actually found Nude Wax Studio through the positive Yelp reviews and am so glad I listened to ya'll! The space is so welcoming and calming, very easy to locate as well. It's been a while since my last Brazilian so I always brace myself for the unfamiliar pain BUT Kara was so incredibly gentle! She also checked in throughout to ensure I wasn't too uncomfortable, really impressed with how careful and gentle Kara was, and quick too! Very happy with my experience at Nude Wax Studio with Kara and I look forward to the next time! read more

It was my first time coming here and I liked it a lot. Kara is so sweet and nice to talk to. Her studio is very clean and really captures all the divine feminine energy with the colors and scents.. super cute! I had a brazillian which did not disappoint. Kara made what could be an awkward experience into a quick and efficient one! She also offers cashless payments which is a plus. read more

After reading through Yelp reviews, I scheduled my first waxing appointment ever at Nude Wax Studio, opting for upper lip and eyebrow with Erin. (I grew up getting threaded.) I don't think they do walk-ins. I scheduled online the week before, and there was plenty of availability. I paid a 1/2 total deposit. On the day of my appointment, I walked past the entrance a few times before I realized just the door has the logo but no hanging sign. Erin texted me back to give instructions when I called to say I couldn't find the studio, and when I walked to the upstairs second-floor studio, I was the only customer. The studio was almost entirely baby pink with neon signs and feminine decor all around, with female R&B and pop music playing throughout the visit. Erin worked silently for the most part; she was gentle and attentive, going back with a couple strips when I noticed some missed hairs. The studio felt clean and peaceful. It was a great first waxing experience. When I paid the remainder of the balance, Erin said that they recently started a rewards program, which I signed up for, but my one gripe was that only what I paid on the day of the appointment went towards the rewards program, not the deposit. To seal the pink deal, I made sure to take a couple pink Starbursts on my way out. read more

Nude Wax Studio is amazing. The atmosphere inside the studio is warm and inviting and Erin as well as Kara have private rooms for their clients. Kara takes her time to get to find out your needs and what service best suits you- if you don't need the service at the time and you scheduled multiple, she will let you know. She is absolutely amazing. Love this female-owned small business in Fells Point. Give up the tweezer/razor and book an appointment at Nude Wax Studio! read more

I was in need of a new esthetician since my lady no longer works at EWC. I knew I needed a black lady and went on Facebook too search. Kara(the owner) immediately responded to my post. Kara's location is located on a convenient block of fells point (free parking !!) and it's the sweetest place to get your parts taken care of. So clean and inviting.. Amazing studio, woman owned small business!! Kara was so accommodating and welcoming. Her studio is so well curated, with warm pink colors throughout. She has a lovely coffee station, with both water and small snack/candies! Her gorgeous interior design makes the whole experience very comforting. I booked my appointment via Instagram DM but I think you can book online too! She was very quick to reply and I found tons of free parking out front, Appt was in the AM. During service, she was great at conversation and helped me feel super relaxed receiving my Brazilian. I have gone to European wax center and this was a totally different and much better experience. Not only are her prices really great but the experience felt very personal and Kara was very attentive to detail and left no lingering hairs. 10/10 recommend. read more

Going to someone new for a wax can be a very scary thing. I decided to take a leap of faith with Nude Wax Studio and was pleasantly surprised. Kara was very friendly upon meeting her and the studio was very clean and beautiful. She walked me through the whole process and was very detailed. I will definitely be returning! read more

I love everything about Nude wax. I am SO happy that they opened up! Kara literally waxes my whole body and I've never had a better experience anywhere else. No one has been able to remove all of my hair during a brazilian, without just breaking some hairs and leaving a few roots behind. I thought that it was just because of my hair type. Kara is the best. I'm so blown away and impressed by her services and how chic this studio is! read more

I have been getting waxed for 7 years now. I have visited Nude Wax Studio 3 times now. Every single time I have the best wax. The least painful wax experience I have ever had. The attention to detail is unmatched to make sure all the hair is off. Highly recommend if you're in the Baltimore area! read more

If you need a wax in Baltimore go here! So bummed I don't live here or she'd certainly be my go to. The studio is so so cute and I had a super relaxing experience. Kara clearly knows what she's doing and is so sweet throughout the entire process. She communicated everything she was doing and asked for my preference on tweezing, how much hair I wanted left, etc. Whenever I'm here I'll certainly be back! Oh almost left out the most important part. The wax was SUPERB. I've gone to waxers who leave tons of stray hairs or do into the lip but there is truly not a hair in sight. read more

Came in today as a new client brazilian // The storefront is subtle while inside is beautifully decorated and amazingly clean (which is huge for me during COVID). Kara could not be more personable. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable and the wax was as painless as possible. She did an amazing job & I will continue to use her for all my waxing needs! :) read more

I came here for my 1st Bikini Wax and really didn't know what to expect. I was a little nervous, but my nerves were quickly soothed after meeting Kara! She did a great job and made the entire experience very comfortable - which says a lot for laying fully exposed butterfly-style in front of a stranger. The waxing was also pretty painless. Kara provided me with all the information I needed to keep everything smooth! Thank you for getting me all set for my vacation!! read more
