There are several forms to fill out about liability and covid prevention. You are called into spa when they are ready to service you and you wash and sanitize your hands upon entry. No extra guests allowed and all very professional. I was serviced/transformed by the Babe Felicia. I received individual hybrid lash extensions with a nod to my fave "cat eye" look. She was professional and thorough. I was relaxed and never uncomfortable. No errant adhesive and barely felt her working much at all because her touch was so light. I fell asleep a few times. Great place to get a facial! I really enjoyed it. I have gone many high end and very expensive places and I will say that the time and care that was taken on my skin at The Babe Spa is unmatched. I had an appt scheduled with and arrived 10 minutes prior. I called to let them know while I was waiting in my car. 5 minutes after my appointment time I called simply because I needed to use the restroom and could not wait any longer just for the use of the restroom. I understand that I might have to wait a few minutes longer for my appointment. They argued with me outside and refused to allow me to use the restroom. They could have told me when I initially called that they didn't have the forms needed. I am fully vaccinated and offered to show them my card simply just to use the restroom and then return to my car. They refused. read more

She has blocked anyone on IG that has shared and mysteriously my yelp reviews have disappeared so I reposted and reposted again on her Facebook. Normally I am not one for catty behavior and I don't believe I am being catty due to the circumstances, but I believe in this situation I need to be a little more persistent than usual. Sooooo I'm completely mortified posting this, but if I can help someone from making a stupid STUPID decision from getting microblading done from @thebabespa which they blocked me from. I'll sacrifice my humility. This is what botched microblading, 7 laser tattoo removals by the awesome @promdhealth and now 1 saline removal by the awesome @_makeupyourmind_ looks like. I was sending her an update this evening from yesterday's procedure. I'm embarrassed of how this ever looked and mortified that I even am posting this for awareness. She went three sizes outside of the stencil and the top picture was I believe in September of 2016 (microblading completed in April of 2016). Yesterday was a different step we were attempting as @_makeupyourmind_ has been helping me make alot of the decisions in this shitty process. I was finally able to get to her yesterday and try a new removal method that is less harsh on your skin to avoid additional scar tissue. Come to find out, the only real scar tissue was from the woman who botched my eyebrows from the beginning by creating extra deep cuts. @promdhealth had worked closely with me to achieve minimal scar tissue from the beginning of the removals to avoid more than necessary hair loss and scar tissue damage. So, moral of the story: do your due diligence on your research (which I did) and then do your due diligence to research your research again. I had the amazing opportunity to be a lash model for LaDonna's newest lash technician, Felicia. From the very beginning of the process, Felicia and the spa were incredibly flexible with scheduling my appointment and were very good about getting in contact with me and replying in a timely manner. The day of my appointment, Felicia asked me what style of lashes/what kind of look I wanted and she executed it perfectly. I told her I wanted a very natural wispy look and she totally came through with my request! Despite being a new technician she did an absolutely incredible job on my problematic lashes. I have very short, thin, straight, sparse eyelashes and she was able to work her magic and create a custom look for me, I honestly couldn't believe how good they looked when I saw myself in the mirror! The spa is very nicely decorated and the recliner you sit in during the process is extremely comfortable. The entire appointment took about 3 hours, longer than the usual 1.5-2 hours for a regular full lash appointment but Felicia made it very clear from the beginning that she was still learning and therefore was going to take her time in order to make sure everything came out perfect. It was absolutely worth the wait, I still can't believe how amazing my lashes look and I will definitely be booking my 2-3 week fill appointment with Felicia very soon! read more

Very inconsiderate, charged $50 for having to reschedule due to work conflict. I am a nurse so sometimes I cannot control when I get called in. I had to work last minute and I tried to call to reschedule the day before the appointment when I found out I had to work, but they were closed and no one answered. I also tried to reschedule online but it was less than 48 hours before the appointment so I couldn't change it online. I made sure I called as soon as they opened the next day while I was at work to let them know about the situation and that I needed to reschedule. I was told that I will have to pay half of the service since I was rescheduling less than 48 hours before the service. I understand that it is inconvenient for them to have me reschedule but it's not like I could control it. And I tried to inform them as soon as I could but they were closed. Also I wasn't canceling. I was rescheduling. So it's not like they would be out any money for having to reschedule me. I can't just choose not go to work because I have a lash appointment. I had my lashes done by Dana and she did a good job but it's not worth it if they can't be flexible. Charging people an extra $50 because they have to work is ridiculous and unfair. If you have a life outside of getting your lashes done, please do not go here because they do not allow that. read more

The hospitality is phenomenal from the offering of beverages to quench your thirsty or a little snacks to put into your belly it's there for you, they provided blankets and great music during my treatment. I had a really good experience with customer service after my lash lift was too extreme for my eye shape. My lashes just curled right into my eyelids and looked terrible. When I called to explain this and see if they could fix it, they fit me into their booked schedule a couple days later and relaxed the perm. It looks way better now read more

Horrible customer service and inconsistent with pricing. I met for a consultation in December for microblading touch up. I was told it was going to be a set price. The lady advised me since she didn't know what microblading color was on my current brows she told me to wait a few months. I called to schedule an appointment and they said that they didn't remember me nor the price that was agreed upon. A suggestion to help them remember clients is to take pictures and notes during consultation appointments. I have requested my $50. refund three times. I have emailed and called them to confirm that they received my emails only to be put on hold for over ten minutes and then they hung up on me. I got my eyebrows microbladed at The Babe spa and I am so so in love with them! LaDonna is an absolute artist! My natural eyebrows were uneven, one higher than the other and different spacing in the front, and she fixed everything! The place is so clean and you can tell these ladies really take pride in their work. I also have 2 friends that go here for lashes and they are in love. The Babe specializes in lash and brow art, this is not a hair salon that just threw a room in the back to keep up with a trend. I booked a service a week in advance. I then decided to cancel the service two days before. The desk person informed me that the deposit was non-refundable which was the first time I was told this. The person said that they offered a different appt, they didn't. They didn't offer me a different service. They just took my $200 deposit. They even tried to tell me the guidelines of not having caffeine 48-24 hours before the procedure as they make you sign, only had to be no coffee the morning of the procedure. On July 1,2021 I was told of this place and the person raved about the customer service. I was interested in supporting this business. I had previously had my eyebrows micro-bladed so I called to ensure that they would retouch them even though it was someone else's work. The young lady on the phone told me yes and I proceeded to ask what the next step was; she told me to book on the website so I did. I selected my service paid my deposit and received confirmation. My appointment was for July 22, 2021 at 4:30 pm. I leave work and hour and a half early to ensure I am on time because I am traveling from Arundel Mills, MD to Timonium, MD which is about 45 minutes in traffic. I arrived at 4:15 pm ; I called in to let them know I had arrived ( Covid policy) , the owner who my appointment was with answered and said she would be out to get me after she cleaned up ; I said okay 3 minutes later she called me back saying she didn't see my paper work , I responded and told her it was none on the website when I made the appointment and even the day of I checked my portal to see if it was anything I had to do before my appointment. After hearing my response she replied oh you new I can't ( then paused) she then told me she would come out and talk to me ( 4:18 pm) @ 4:38 pm she comes out and tells me I received the wrong information and there was nothing she could do for me today I was in shock and disbelief. I just lost money, time, and gas to support her business and that all I get because one of your employees gave me the wrong information. I was told that she would have to do and consultation on my brows before going over someone else's work and that's understandable but I wasn't even OFFERED the opportunity to do that and come back and get the service. All I was told that I can get my deposit back which could take up to 7-10 days and a I understand your frustration line. I had microblading done. The color did not stay as hair strokes but blended into one big blob of color. I would not recommend.

My daughters and I splurged and got our eyelashes done for my daughter's wedding!!! We look FABULOUS! I highly recommend THE BABE SPA. Felicia was so patient, I have naturally curly lashes so I know they were not easy to work with. She started by cleaning them which wasn't done when I previously had my lashes done at another shop. I happened to find this place after deciding to have my lashes done on a whim before my vacation. The salon is in a building off timonium rd. It's adorable. I would never have guessed a salon would be inside!! It's very cute and the ladies were very welcoming! Dana did my lashes and she did a wonderful job. I loved that the owner came to personally check and approve that my application was to her satisfaction. They look amazing and I have gotten a million compliments. I wanted dramatic and they are long and lush. Very soft too I'm comparison to the lashes I had before. I love them and am looking forward to going back. read more
