Hair stylist Labony did a great job. The vibe of the environment was worth it. Do you fancy a quiet, meditative, experience, listening to chants while getting a haircut? I sure do. read more

I bought a gift certificate from this spa for my birthday. I was unable to book a massage online due to website malfunction. After two calls and a few emails I got the reply that there is no massage therapist employed there due to her "moving back to Morocco"!! I requested a refund of the gift certificate and was told theyre non-refundable. A policy that was not stated when i purchased it! I'm thoroughly disgusted!! read more

I really wanted to like this place. My second time here as I believe in second chances. However, I dont see where much was done on either occasion. I basically walked out the same way I came in. My brows are a little sparse, but even with that I've had more of a defined arch than this. I think she can tell I was unhappy with my brows and I could've asked for her to correct it. But if she was ok with finishing up like this, I dont trust her to fix it. I believe the disconnect is they are used to servicing those with thick, dark eyebrows and dont know what to do with thinner, lighter brows. Well, you arch them too without trying to save them for thickness that we dont have in the first place. You can't service everyone the same. read more

Vedic Spa - Eyebrow threading. I really dont know what I paid for because my eyebrows look a out the same as when I walked in. - Day Spas Near Me - Ellicott City, Maryland

Great service by, Ray. I've had two great appointments with Ray. She is very thorough with her waxing technique. I will never go back to the Robert Andrew Salon & Spa in Crofton after seeing Ray. Very affordable and competitive prices too. read more

I've been looking for a good spa to go to and I've found one. The spa is clean. The rooms were well equipped and once we started our session it was very calming. I took my daughter to get her first facial and she loved it. We both got the mini facial and Seema took care of us. Seema was amazing! She kindly offered water or green tea afterwards. She was also able to clean up my daughter brows while we were there. We both left refreshed. We plan on being regular clients here. read more

I had my hair done in Ellicott City and didn't want to go all the way to Baltimore to my normal threading spot so I looked up options in the area. Vedic great reviews convinced me to pop in and I am so glad that I did! When I walked in I was immediately offered a seat by a friendly woman. It's worth noting that this is the cleanest salon I've seen in ages, looks very new! I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for ten years now and this was the most comfortable experience hands down-- I was shocked, there was no pain at all! I'm used to the feeling of threading, but I cannot get over how great and comfortable the experience was. I also got my upper lip done and the total for my services was $14. $14!! So not only was my experience amazing, the price was super low! I will absolutely be back to take advantage of this hidden gem! read more

I'm only rating this on their eyebrow threading: STAY AWAY!!! I have FULL eyebrows and love them full. Where I normally go - no matter who sees me, they get it right - they ONLY SHAPE the brows keeping them ideal to frame my eyes. Friday, July 7, '17 Vedic butchered them! For theeee FIRST TIME EVER IN LIFE, I had to use brow filler to correct the mess they did to my left brow. They took waaay too much off both brows and destroyed the left (see pics). Since moving, my regular threading spot is a bit out of the way and now, for sure, I will continue to back there. The Vedic threader smooth them down with aloe gel so I didn't notice the butcher job until later that evening when I just so happened to glance in the mirror with a huge WTF!!! I got instantly mad that I also tipped the butcheress. While there I did notice they took too much off but was clueless to the unevenness of the left brow. I'm literally that girl that washes her face and go -- now to have to fix my brow EVERY morning PLUS remember NOT to touch my left brow makes me a bit annoyed. Save your brows unless your brow threader/waxer is worse than here. Because frankly, that's the only reason I can see one giving them 5 stars on their threading. I'm going to a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic in a few weeks; hopefully, my natural process of growing hair will do the trick and all will be right with the world. read more

I go here for all of my waxing and threading needs. Seema and Jay are very professional and both are extremely attentive and skilled. I first found Vedic through conversation with a stranger at Ulta while getting my hair done. She had the best looking eyebrows and she gave me the name of her person, and I've been hooked since. I've been going since December 2015 and am very happy. The prices are very affordable: $7 for eyebrows and $5 for upper lip. Can't be beaten! I recommend them to all my friends and family. read more

Highly recommend. I've worked with Hetal and she was great - very professional and good experience.

Jay gives the best facials and Mia the best massages. I would recommend Vedic Spa to everybody that want to relax. The best facial ever and I have tried many! I have been going to Vedic Spa for three years already and they never disappointed me. Thank you!!! read more

Got a last minute facial here because high stress was showing on my skin. It was really easy to book an appointment online and I was lucky enough to nab an appointment with Jay same day on my one day off. I appreciated that she took the time to consult me on my skin and gave me suggestions on how to improve my general complexion. I felt super relaxed coming out of the spa. It was such a calm and tranquil environment Like a prior reviewer said, she doesn't try to push you to buy products or upgrade your service. I thought the price of both services and goods were reasonable. I'd definitely come back for another facial and perhaps try threading and a massage here as well! read more

I've been coming here for months for threading, but I've not had their massages and facials till Christmas Eve. My husband surprised me with two hour pamper package on Groupon, that included hot stone massage and facial. We started we hot stone massage and my muscles were so relaxed and pampered afterwards. The rubbing of hot stones against my muscles while compression massage went on were excellent! BUT I must say...The highlight was really the facial. Jayshiri explained the whole plan, diagnosed my skin and gave me different cleansing, exfoliating, extraction, Manhattan massage from face, chest, arms, and hands, and chocolate mask. The whole process was seamless and my skin feels as soft as a baby's bottom. I did not realize she was this skilled of an esthetician! I definitely plan on going back for facials more often now. The room was very comfortable, clean, and warm. The only thing is ask for is a smaller mirror somewhere on the walls, so I can easily put my jewelry back on read more

Just got my eyebrows done here and it turned out great! They take extra precautions for covid! I was a bit hesitant at first to get my eyebrows threaded since they usually put one part of the thread in there mouth. But she wrapped it around her neck. Would recommend going here read more

I love coming here. I get Brazilians, arm pit waxes, eyebrow and lip threading. They are always so nice and make sure that I feel comfortable throughout the procedure. My skin is always flawlessly smooth after each service and I'm so satisfied with the results. The place is also very clean and they use masks and hand sanitizer. I only trust them for my waxing needs. read more

Horrible massage, did not even try to apply any pressure at all. I can't remember who my masseuse was but i definitely won't be going back. Also, they cut my massage short and I arrived right on time. Definitely don't recommend this place. read more

Discovered this place a year ago and I go for my waxing appointments. The area is clean and the staff is wonderful. I go to Seema and Jai alternatively and both are attentive and actually listen to your needs. Professionalism goes a long way and I will always come to them for my waxing needs. Having sensitive skin, the use of hard wax is suitable for my skin and they are the only ones in the area (that I know of) that provide this type of wax! The massage after the face waxing doesn't hurt either! Good job, Vedic Spa! read more

I love Vedic Spa! Amazing customer service and amazing work. My eyebrows have never looked better thanks to these ladies! Updated: still love these ladies and their work! They're simply the best! read more

My favorite place to go for my eyebrow threading! They're always so sweet and quick. I'm so picky about who I trust with my eyebrows because they have been BUTCHERED before but I can trust them to always bring my face back to life. I can't wait to try some of their other services :) read more

I just moved here a year ago and have been going to Seema since then. I am super picky with my eyebrows and usually have some sort of critique to get them perfect, but with Seema I hardly ever have critique at the end because she gets them perfect quickly. She's very nice too. read more

Amazing massage! Great customer service and nice atmosphere! Laima is an amazing massage therapist. I'll definitely be back again.

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded here for over a year. After one particular time, I sent a Snapchat selfie to a friend who lives across the country, her response was "Your eyebrows are on point!" She did not know earlier that day I had gotten my eyebrows threaded by Seema. This isn't the first time I've gotten compliments on my amazing brows since Seema started threading them for me. For as long as I live in the Baltimore area, I will not go to anyone else besides Seema at Vedic Spa for my eyebrow threading! read more

Vedic Spa has one of the most personable, friendly spa services around the Howard county area. Jayshree (co-owner) made my first professional waxing experience so comfortable that I'm looking forward to my next visit. She took me in as a walk-in and instructed me on what to expect. Her expertise and warmth go a long way! I'm coming back for a massage soon! Thanks Jayshree! read more

Vedic Spa - Jayshree was kind, warm and personable. Highly recommend! - Day Spas Near Me - Ellicott City, Maryland

I was surprised by my fiancé this past Saturday with a facial and hot stone massage at this establishment. Planning our wedding has been a lot in conjunction with work and school so I thought it was super sweet for him to surprise me with a spa day! From the moment I arrived, Erin was super sweet. She greeted me and got me all set to go! She was attentive and very kind. The atmosphere was very relaxing and both the facial and massage were amazing! I woke up feeling like a brand new women! If you are looking for a nice place to go for your relaxation and wellness needs, check out Vedic Spa! I plan to go back except with my fiancé next time! read more

I've been going to Jayshri for a long time and her amazing skills at threading are matched by her warmth and lovely personality. Her new storefront location is beautiful... Very clean and modern. The prices are fair and a bit cheaper than other places in the area. I am very satisfied by my eyebrows. She will listen to what you prefer and deliver results. In addition, waxing services are available, as well as skincare such as facials. I've been to threading places where the people are not friendly or simply mean and this is not the case here! read more

As soon as I found out that Jayshree had opened a day spa, I quickly called in for an appointment to have my eyebrows done. I've known her for few years and she always does an amazing job. Very dedicated, consistent, focused and meticulous. This day spa is so comforting and welcoming. My first experience was superb and customer service was well above and beyond what was anticipated. I went to Vedic Spa based mostly on reviews on Yelp. I did not have a Groupon or Living Social special. I get married in three days and my fiancé/future husband will be happily surprised if I got a Brazilian. I have never had a Brazilian wax before but knew from reading online and prior experience with brow and lip waxed what to expect. Seema was very gentle (as much as she could be) and kind. She reminded me to breathe and would go as quickly as she could. Each dip into the wax was a new stick and Seema wore gloves. It was a very hygienic process. It took all of about 10 minutes and it was done. Appt scheduling - I had called in the morning on a weekday and was able to get a same-day appt. The spa is located in a new building near the EC Post Office/Ridge Road. There wasn't any special music playing or ultra-cool aesthetic about the place, but I'm a down-to-business kinda girl. I would highly recommend based off my experience with the lovely and professional Seema and their practice of keeping things safe and clean. read more
