Breakfast burrito with possibly the worst hashbrowns in the world.
    Ruben G.

I just ordered a breakfast burrito from this place and correct me if I'm wrong but breakfast burritos usually come with hashbrowns. We came in my breakfast burrito look like what should have been hashbrowns, but ended up being very greasy mashed potatoes. I am a breakfast burrito type of guy and this is my friends was one of the worst.

    Corn beef hash and eggs

This was my 2nd time here, ordered corn beef hash and eggs with hash browns so good, my daughter ordered the pancakes. It was a delicious meal, I did forget to take a photo of her pancakes though. They also do have a drive through which is nice. I ordered the food over the phone and picked it up. The parking lot is big so there is a lot of parking available. Inside is clean and lots of seats available to dine in as well. The lady at the register was really sweet too and got my order ready as soon as I walked in. I would recommend this place it's good for breakfast and lunch items. Thank you for wonderful service and delicious food! Have a beautiful day :) Aloha

Love coming here. Good is always good the service is a true 10 and prices are really good. Very clean and like the booths. I got the French toast combo with a pineapple juice. They have some tasty flavors. I would come here everyday if it wasn't for me being across town .

Club sandwich and zucchini, soo bomb!!!!

Hamburgers are always fresh and not soggy like most burger spots, club sandwich is very good and the zucchini fries are delicious

Simple yet clean, everything is cooked to perfection. We are elderly so we split the country fried chicken. Didn't look like anything special but boy was it delicious! The chicken fried steak was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Could have been a little more substantial but as it turned out was the perfect size for the two of us! I would totally recommend this place and it should be famous for its unique style and cooking!

Famous Burgers: Junior Cheeseburger and fries

Nothing fancy, nothing bad... just a good ol' place to go get a burger and fries, or whatever your tastebuds are craving! There's a vast menu with so many options. One thing that stands out on the menu are the fried mushrooms; not greasy, just delicious warm shrooms in a crispy fried batter. A bit pricey at just about $5 for a side, but they are worth checking out, definitely enough to share with a buddy or two. Breakfast options are burritos, sandwiches, omelets, French toast, pancakes... plenty of sides and flavors. I've had the chorizo burrito (it's a big guy!) and you can choose to have that with hash browns and cheese or with rice and beans (maybe a combo of those things if you ask nicely). I liked the burrito, but wish the hash browns would have been a whole lot crispier, still good though. Omelet with sausage and hash browns is a nice big tummy warmer. Most breakfasts are between $5-10 so you may also want to check out the specials, more bang for your buck. Club Sandwich, Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Wet Burritos, Nachos, Greek options, Hot Dogs, Fried Chicken... the list goes on. So far, everything we've tried has fit the bill. Pricing on lunch and dinner menu ranges from $7-12. Parking is small, but so is the restaurant, we've never had a hard time finding a spot to park. There's a drive-thru as well, if you prefer. Service has been really friendly and nice, served at your table after you order at the counter. Fairly fast delivery from order to table. No refills on drinks without a charge (although there is also a sign now that says no refills due to Covid...). Kinda bummed they don't make fresh shakes here, that would be killer! Although the prices are a bit high for this type of place, there are a lot of options and just about something for everyone. Quality has always seemed pretty upstanding and you do get a nice portion size, so really can't complain. Seems reviews are hit or miss on Famous Burgers, but we've always had a nice experience. I guess just try it for yourself. Always check out the specials, nice deals! CHEERS!

Their Mediterranean plate was to die for, while getting it for a good price. Service is great and the environment gives a great diner feel.

Super clean and menu is impressive (breakfast served all day!)…read more This is the kind of "mom and pop" burger place that gives you all your basics, and still served to perfection. This is definitely that place that gives you about 5 lbs. of onion rings on one order! lol I'm not complaining! Any burger place can grill a burger pretty well, but I always test a place based on their patty melt and boy oh boy it was a 10/10! Grilled onions were juicy, rye bread toasted and crispy, burger fresh and full of flavor. Simply put, wow. Come by Brea's burgers if you are close by, take a small walk down memory lane and you will be back, I know I will! You will definitely be greeted with a smile and the service is super fast and friendly.

Rude, wasted my time and no longer convenient which is this places bread and butter because the food isn't great. Very disapointing, chef had us waiting for onion while our food got cold and then didnt even make the pattymelt, just gave us a tray with partially cooked onion. their menu has by default carmelized onion.

I've never actually dined at the restaurant, so we decided to go and give it a try. They are located in the Placentia Town Center right next to CVS, with plenty of parking available. They have a good sized dining area with a mix of tables and booths. They also have a bar area with four big screens against the wall, and a few other TVs throughout the dining area. They also have a small outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. We sat in a comfy booth across from the bar, and it was a nice surprise that they had a college hockey championship game and the Olympics on. They have a good selection of beer taps. I ordered a pint of the Firestone Orange Hefeweizen ($9.50), and my friend had the Stereo Robot Red Ale ($9.50) and were both great. The glasses looked nice with the Craftsman logo on them. They also have a good wine list with some great selections like Belle Glos and Doau. The drink menu also has a nice selection of over a dozen cocktails. They have a big selection of around two dozen signature wood fired pizzas available in 10" or 14" sizes. We decided to keep it simple and share a 14" The Graduate (pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onions, roasted peppers, olives, and mozzarella ($22.75). The pizza came out timely, and is served on a raised stand. The crust had a nice thin to medium thickness and held the toppings well. It had a good amount of toppings and was delicious. This was the perfect size for two people, and we were both stuffed when it was all gone. In addition to a big list of interesting pizzas, they also have a big selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Our server Mikayla was very friendly, and checked on us often. The pizza, beer, and service were all great. A very filling pizza and two pints for $45 before tip is a great deal. They have a happy hour weekdays, and drink specials Monday through Thursday. We will definitely return soon.

For some reason the refinery spend their 40 minutes cooking the hell out of my burger, and they could even put the tooth pick in the middle of my burger, like is it that hard to stab my burger in the middle. I honestly don't know how The Refinery inside the Hilton in Brea manages to stay open. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. First off, the place looks nice when you walk in, but that's where the positives end. The service was painfully slow -- not the "busy restaurant" kind of slow, but the "did anyone remember we're here?" kind. We waited forever just to get water, and it somehow took even longer for the food. Then the food actually showed up... and wow. Bland, overpriced, and somehow still cold. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week. For a restaurant attached to a Hilton, I expected at least basic quality, but this felt like cafeteria food with steakhouse prices. To make things worse, the staff acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. No check-ins, no refills, no effort. Just vibes of "please eat and leave." Between the slow service, disappointing food, and ridiculous prices, this place feels like a tourist trap hiding in a hotel lobby. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else in Brea. Even a gas station snack run would be a better experience.
