Took it home, opened the box; there was a glitch. Details are not important; it was a minor miscommunication, mistakes happen. What is important to me is how a problem is resolved. Henry and I worked together to make it right. No waiting in line, no arguments, or "I'll get the manager". It was a simple, polite and professional business transaction. In the end, we shook hands. Though I did not buy another IMac that day, I will return again to Middleton Experimax in a few weeks to do so. Consumers have choices. On-line, big box, Amazon, the Apple Store etc. The above, sterile and impersonal and resolution can be difficult if a problem occurs. At Middleton Experimax you walk in and talk to the owner. I got my computer back, sent it to dell, who repaired it for 120 dollars. all data is still there and computer is working fine. I am glad i did not listen to this person's advice. the worst part is that I was also charged 75 dollars to be given wrong information. i just wish he had said he couldn't help me from the beginning.
