The process was super easy; complete the form by selecting the repair option (more on that to come), what device you have, what is wrong with it, your contact information, and how you'd like to be contacted. The repair options are to either visit the store or a come-to-you service which is unique, convenient, and a great option that sets them apart from other companies. And the at your door service does not have any hidden or extra fees! They are very responsive and quick to get in touch once you submit the form. I reached out during business hours and got a response immediately! I really liked that they asked how to contact - via call, text, or email. I needed my iPad, 9th gen fixed. It was quoted at $119 (+tax). I opted for the come to you service. It said online they have a van and do the repairs that way, however they reached out to see if I was okay with a pick up/drop off instead. That made no difference to me. They were very communicative throughout the process. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I was able to have them complete repairs the next day! They did a great job with the repair - it looks brand new and you can't tell that there was an accident in the first place! They also asked if I wanted to add a screen protector which I appreciated as I would prefer not to break my screen again. They charged $20 for the protector and application, which I thought was reasonable and worth it for me not to have to mess with putting it on myself. Since I had a case already, I did not need one but they sell cases and accessories too. I highly recommend checking out Fix 'N Repair if you are in Wakefield or surrounding towns. Again, it was super quick and easy, great service, and a job well done!!

It was done at a very fair price and in a timely manner. If this review was just about that only, I would have given 5 stars. I'm old school, you find a place to fix what's broken, you drop the item off, you get a call when done, you pick it up and pay. Techie Town might use some business software to manage the business, to get my repair done, I received 32 emails from Techie Town and about 9 text messages, also 13 emails from yelp. That just seems excessive to me.

Should have read Yelp reviews first. I brought in a…read moreperfectly good Samsung Galaxy that had a very tired battery. They changed the battery and when I turned it on as I was walking out, I found it had a big black dot in the view. I went back to him, and then after another 20-minute wait I was told the screen was broken and i split the cost for his incompetence to replace it. Interesting that when I went back (after another 2 hour wait), he wanted to know my 4-digit passkey to unlock it. He didn't ask for this the first time i picked it up, and didn't realize until later why he did this. As the phone was unlocked the rest of the day, I didn't notice that when it did lock, the fingerprint function no longer works - and that's why he wanted to unlock it when I picked it up. He clearly knew it wouldn't work. In the end, the "new" battery he put in still discharges in a half-day, and so now I have the same phone that only unlocks with the 4-digit PIN, and still has a battery that only lasts about 10 hours. Good thing I went, huh? Incompetent AND low integrity. Wow, what a mix. Go on to another shop...

Our printer stopped working after 1 month-after several messages to him, he told us it was a piece of junk-so why did he sell it to us? He is insistent that icons are on my computer that just aren't there, and gets upset with me when I try to explain they're not. We've wasted well over $1200 on a computer, printer, and repairs. When I mention his name at Staples, I was told he was a quack. Really regret dealing with him. Do NOT recommend.

He offered a few suggestions, just about all of which I had tried before and none of which helped at all. In the end, he told me that it did not sound as if he could help with this problem. There was no discussion of charges for the discussion. Neither did he ask me for contact information such as an address. A couple of days later, the mail brought a bill from him for his time. He added no value and did not pretend to. The transaction fails the basic business principles of being forthcoming and above board.
