I've used them twice so far, and both times Toby was able to come to the house soon after we called him, and he was transparent about the pricing before he started working on my locks. Before I found this company, it was really hard to find a reliable locksmith in BK who will come by same-day and won't completely rip you off. Toby is an excellent locksmith -- the lock he replaced a few months ago are still going strong. And he's great at diagnosing and resolving a problem. For example, my front gate was sticking and I thought it was the lock, but Toby took the time to show me that it was actually a problem with the gate itself. He trimmed down the metal gate (for free) which resolved the issue. There are many other locksmiths in this city that would've up-sold me on a new lock with the promise that the door wouldn't stick anymore. He is highly skilled professional, and demonstrates honesty and integrity . While I initially expressed interest in a Medico lock, Toby explained key differences between the Medico and Multi-lock installation, along with his reason for recommending Multi-lock. He even suggested comparing costs amongst competitors (I was not in any rush,) explaining that he perceived possible hidden costs as possible explanation for the range of quotes I had received. Saved by Falcon Locksmith! After the disaster we created "playing locksmith" to remove a broken key and the lock itself, we called Falcon Locksmith. The lock was stuck in the door and we had to tape it so that we would not get locked in or locked out. Very scary!!! Thank goodness for Falcon Locksmith! Toby was able to remove the stuck lock and fit our door for the new one. He diligently worked on the adjustments to the door which took quite a while. He wanted to make sure everything was done properly and that the new lock's housing sat correctly inside its cut-out in the door. His precision paid off. We had been locked out a few times with the old lock, which had been repaired with a part here and a part there. Since we're sure that the lock was from the 1950s, we are happy that a "new fashioned" lock was able to be installed in our co-op apartment door without visible changes on the public side of the door. I bought a smart lock for my front door a few weeks ago and needed a locksmith to install it since it required new holes in the door. I requested a quote from a few locksmiths.
