I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after trying to handle this professionally, I feel it is important to share my experience with Falcon Collision Repair. After receiving my vehicle back, I was unhappy with the paint finish, color match, and overall quality of the repair work. To make sure I was being fair and reasonable, I had the vehicle inspected by two separate independent body shops for a second and third opinion regarding the paint quality and whether the finish was close to OEM standards. Unfortunately, both shops advised me that the color match was noticeably off and that the paint materials used appeared to be lower quality than expected for a professional collision repair. That confirmation raised even more concern for me regarding the overall workmanship and repair standards. Looking back, I also realized the facility appeared to focus heavily on larger commercial and fleet vehicles rather than higher quality private vehicle refinishing. The condition and organization of the yard personally gave me concerns about the level of detail and care being applied to customer vehicles. I understand every repair situation can have challenges, and I tried to remain patient and respectful throughout the process. However, based on the final result and the independent opinions I received afterward, I cannot honestly say I was satisfied with the quality of work performed on my vehicle. I hope this review encourages improvements in quality control, communication, and overall customer satisfaction moving forward. read more

Only If I wasn't deployed at the time when my wife utilized this repair shop. They completely scammed her by not replacing everything with OEM parts. They took advantage of a lady, knowing that she doesn't know any difference. I tried requesting them To fix this . But in their release this claimer, it makes you agree that you're completely satisfied and that you won't go back for anything else.. Please be careful and read the fine print as these people are kind of scamming people on the ability to make things right. Even court wouldn't be able to assist you with their signed document. Me and my wife are now stuck with a vehicle with aftermarket parts that don't fit Properly. This is other than the fact that she had to come out of pocket for rental vehicle vehicles since they never completed the car on time. My wife, even mentioned to me that she tried to reach out by stopping by the facility to point out the defects in their job in person. Herson decided To offer to make it up to her by taking her out on a date. When my wife stated that she was offended. He stated that it would be a friendly lunch to discuss the matter about there policy disclaimer. This is very unprofessional. We will never be going back to this family business again.. read more

Really chuffed with these guys. My daughter's car was hit by a texting driver, so I dropped the car in with them and they dealt directly with the insurance company and assisted with a rental via Enterprise while they were fixing it. Super helpful and transparent with the entire process. Very friendly and kind team, would definitely recommend if you need any car repairs!

DO NOT take your vehicles here. Only go if you want your PAINT to look like a BAD WRAP. They even will give you a "warranty" for either 3 or 5 years, but yet won't cover anything. Far beyond disappointed with this paint job that is peeling, cracking and falling off less then 1 year after being painted at Falcon collision. This place is a joke. read more

All of that sounds good and glad it only too you all a few months to draft your response. Facts are Falcon did in fact receive violations and the Bureau of automotive repair did have to come down there and teach you guys how to run your business and your paperwork was being done incorrectly. All the rust was seen and the pictures I have of the car before the work began shows it. All parts were provided prior to any work being done. The car looks significantly worse after Falcon worked on it than before it went into your shop. Again anyone thinking of going to Falcon if you have a old school classic car BEWARE of the butchers. The deal was $4,000. And after they got some free Christmas spending cash (my money $3,000) they tried to change the deal. Stay away from Falcon Auto Collision in Berkeley. If I could leave a zero rating I would. read more

As someone who is always unfortunate to be a victim of hit and run, or someone bumping my car while it is parked in a lot I have used Falcon Collision many times. Herson and his brothers have been very accommodating every time I need their services. They will tow your car if needed if it is unsafe to drive. They will help you talk to your insurance to get your car repaired and even coordinate with a rental car company if your car needs to be in the shop longer than expected. Their shop in Berkeley is really nice. There is a clean and comforatable lounge/waiting room for you to wait for your car. My car always looks amazing when Falcon Collision fixes it. It looks brand new. They went the extra mile by checking my brakes, the fluids, they even repaired my automatic window which was not working. You really get excellent service and work at this shop! Definitely recommend this place! read more

I've used a few body shops in the North Bay area and they're all very good, restoring my vehicles back to the condition they were before the accidents, so there's not much to write about. But last month my 2019 F150 needed body work after a young man crashed into the left side of my truck. My company suggested Falcon in Concord. After 2 weeks, as promised, I came to pick up the truck and of course it was fixed beautifully as expected and the bonus was the detailing job they had done to my truck, inside and outside. Looked like a brand new truck, again. Got home, I noticed that they'd replaced one of the light bulb in my tail lights too. A week later, my wife said the AC didn't work, I spoke to Herson and he told me they only worked on the body but bring it back anyway so they could take a look. Herson had a technician came out and troubleshot and replaced a fuse to get the AC going. Now, that was above and beyond customer service. I was not only happy but really delighted. Thanks Herson! Oh, I forgot to mention that they picked up my truck from my home in Suisun City and brought it to Concord to work on it too. Hopefully I won't need their service anymore, LOL, but if I do, they're the one I'd think of. read more

I couldn't say anything bad about these guys. I unfortunately had a little accident in my work vehicle "Volvo XC60" a few weeks back. I had a small dent and the actual cap had fallen off. I contacted my companies vehicle service company Wheels and they suggested a place near home in Emeryville. I was very lucky to find these guys and thankful that they could get me in. Not only did they get me in that day for a photo but they scheduled me in for a repair the following Monday. They even contacted a rental company for me to pick me up from the shop so I could continue to work without a car. It can be hard to find a local repair shop that will treat you fairly while doing everything in their power to keep the experience positive while maintaining quality & efficiency . From day one, they team were extremely warm and patient. I will defiantly be referring Falcon to any friends and local Yelpers. Not only did they have my Volvo repaired by that following Tuesday but they replaced my burnt out break light and gave my car a nice shine after they were finished. Thanks again guys! read more

This ia my place to go. They have my business with everything related to car body shop, accident ,auto Paint and even replace the folding roof on my convertable BMW. The guys are amazing!!! Herson is honest ,friendly ,always give a fair price and want to help as much as he can every single time. His brother George is running the repairs side and make things happen. True family business. I send all my friend to thier Berkeley location and everyone is so happy working with them. But here is a quick tip: I think its really hard business to be in and as much as the owner want to get your car back to your arms as soon as possible ,few times its took a little longer than expected(they are very busy and working with all the big insurance companies and I often even see the Berkeley police cars got fixed there) so always ask how long they think the job will take and add another few days to it because this is a hard job to do and takes time in order to do it right and perfect. Personly, I think its worth the wait. Really good people to be around, not an easy thing to find this days. read more

Falcon Collision Repair - FRONT BUMPER - Body Shops Near Me - Concord, California

Falcon Collision is my car's home away from home. Seriously, the car gods frowned upon me for buying a FWD car. They are just not happy with my decision to not fix my Subaru after a bad accident a few years ago. Ever since I bought my new car, it has been a serious headache, because while it requires essentially zero maintenance (besides standard stuff), but it's an accident and break-in MAGNET! So, Falcon is my body shop of choice. My Scion has visited... hmmm, one time in 2008, two times in 2009, and soon to be the first of 2010. Herson is really easy to deal with and his team put out quality work. They'll coordinate your towing and everything to help alleviate your headache early on. My 2006 car might have crap resale value after all the accidents on its Carfax, but at least Falcon makes it look shiny and new, each time. They also do superb tint work -- be sure to ask about it! read more

Five star auto body shop! Best in Berkeley area, highly recommended! My car has a deep dent with paint scratch on the rear bumper, it's a gorgeous car so I have to take it to the auto body shop to fix it. The five star reviews on yelp brought me to Falcon, and it has been an perfect decision. The manager Herson is super friendly and honest, together with his stuff members, gave me a flawless experience. The body work was done perfectly that such a deep dent with paint scratch was completely gone. I request an auto detailing for exterior and interior as well, the car looked amazingly flawless and shinny after the job. I am completely amazed by the quality of the whole work. Plus, the bumper fix and car detailing work was done around 800$, which is a completely fair price. Highly recommend this shop for service, it's the best in Berkeley area! read more

Couldn't recommend this place more. Brought my jeep in to get checked out- thought something was wrong with the starter. They not only searched for the best possible price but they realized they could fix the starter I already had and saved me the cost all together. People are often worried about shady mechanics- you don't have to worry about this place!! Honest, friendly, and fast. I was not expecting the level of customer service I received from Falcon. Herson was the man who helped me out. This place will be my go to mechanic from now on. read more

This shop was reffered to me by a friend. The work is excellent!!! They give an honest estimate, and a realistic time frame on returning your car. Its not too much like a typical body shop, but I have had 2 vehicles worked on, and have reffered a few more people. Herson is extremely friendly and even offered to pick me up/ drive me home. Thanks for the great work! Finally a body shop I can trust and have confidence in. read more

I desperately needed my Porsche detailed since it was being constantly assaulted by the rain and random bird poop. I called various places in Berkeley and couldn't believe how outrageously expensive their quotes were. Herson, the owner, was not only VERY reasonable with his price but also really customer-service oriented. You can tell he is really invested in his business, which I always appreciate from an independently-owned business. The detail on my car was excellent - no errant wax stains and no visible swirls. My car is black so that's no small feat. I even received a free, new microfiber cloth to wipe down my car with later. I highly recommend Falcon, and will definitely be returning. read more

Came to Herson and his crew here at Falcon to get an insurance claim fixed (someone hit me on my rear bumper). Honest about pricing upfront and looked to help me out. His quote was cheaper than another body shop in Berkeley so it was a no-brainer. It was my first experience with someone hitting my car and I was able to email him pictures to get the claim handled. He even set up a rental for me. Communication was great throughout and he was very accommodating with my school/work schedule. Work was done by the time he had stated and my car looked brand new. He even got the car detailed; inside and out. He had someone return the rental for me and everything was well. Highly recommend them! read more

"Second time around, so much better than the first time...." Shalamar Another unfortunate issue with my car caused me to be in need of a collision repair shop. Because of the first exceptional experience I decided to go with Falcon again. And again Falcon did not disappoint. Herson lives and breathes customer service! He owns the shop, a family owned business, and he makes sure you feel like his most valuable customer. Amazingly helpful with the entire process. Took care of insurance paperwork for me, ordered a rental car for me, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Fixed my bumper dents and scratches from a rearend accident and even cleaned the interior of my car for me! Talk about above and beyond! Right when I first walked into the shop, he made sure I understood everything from the extent of the damage to the quote. I knew he knew what he was doing. Have my car repaired at Falcon Collision Repair is great experience. Herson, one of the brothers who own this shop is helpful and patient. My car was severe damaged in an accident, and I was so worried cause I really didn't know anything about how to get it repaired. I searched on yelp for a shop and got Falcon Collision Repair, so I went there. After a quick estimate, I got a detailed information about how to recover my car. Surely I had a lot question cause I did't now much about cars, so Herson explained to my time after time about all the details. And he also tried his best to lower the price, which I really appreciated. The repair is fast as well. For my severe damage, it took less than a week for them to finish, with the damages totally gone. I will be going there again to do a paint for my car. Really enjoy my experience at Falcon Collision Repair. Thanks to Herson and his brothers. read more

I had a mixed experience here. Herson was very personable and friendly, and gave the impression of really caring about his work and wanting to be honest with customers. However, after Falcon's work on my car has been "finished," I'm a little dissatisfied. My car was rear-ended so I took it to a few places for a quote on body repairs as well as trunk re-alignment (the trunk was not closing). Falcon's quote actually was significantly higher than another that I received, but I had gotten a good impression from Herson so I called to ask if he could match the quote--and he agreed, so Falcon it was. During the repair, there were a series of delays because a part that Herson ordered apparently was not the correct one--multiple times. Eventually I was in a bit of a time crunch because I needed my car for a trip out of town, so at the last second Herson managed to get it finished and kindly offered to come in late one night after hours (when I returned from my work) to give me the car. Upon picking it up, things seemed to be in okay order at first--except that the trunk is still not functioning properly. It will close now, but there is a problem with the latch or sensor; now it will not open with the switch, only the key, and the display constantly indicates it is open. Not a big deal, and I had to leave, so Herson said to just come drop it back by sometime and he would get that last part taken care of, no worries. Well... When I did bring it back, he then explained that he would need another $300 to fix the remaining part. In addition, the alignment that was done on my trunk is off (I can no longer properly attach my bike rack to the trunk for this reason). I understand that the trunk sensor situation was perhaps "unforeseen," but overall I got the impression that the quality of the work done on my car was lowered in order to meet the lower quote. Herson casually and vaguely referenced doing some things differently in order to lower the price (not when I called to ask if he could match the quote, but once I had already made the appointment and brought the car in), so I suppose I should have expected something similar--but it doesn't feel like good business practices to me. Overall I have decided to get the remaining repairs on my trunk done elsewhere. read more

Selecting an auto body shop is a bit like needing a lawyer, circumstances make it so that you are hoping for any outcome that makes the situation less unpleasant. When my 17 year old son smashed his 2007 Maxima into a tree on Good Friday, I was facing an undrivable car, extensive body and suspension damage and liability only insurance coverage. Since every dollar spent would be my own, I called multiple body shops to explore who would best partner with my situation. I contacted Falcon and their commitment to helping my predicament was exceptional. Herson came to the crash scene and provided an on site estimate. Since I was paying the full tab out of my pocket, we discussed how to control costs, where we were stuck with dealer parts (damn HID headlights) and a timeline for getting the car back in service. The damage was extensive and the repair took a little longer than initially expected, but the car came back looking better than ever. Since the suspension was affected, the guys at Falcon had multiple test drives and did not release the car until it passed their standard of flawless driving. While I hope not to do business again (accidents suck), I would heartily recommend Falcon to anyone in need of a auto repair partner and have found my preferred body shop. To summarize my experience: pro-active, forthright, professional, collaborative, cost aware and excellent work. read more

% stars - what can I say. My bumper was ripped off by the tow truck driver (accident) and I brought it to Falcon. I was a bit worried because my paint is custom on my car. I backed up into a pole at a gas station which left a huge dent in the corner of my bumper. The damage went beyond the bumper and I spoke with a few auto body shops. One shop with amazing reviews was asking a ridiculous amount. I knew I was being way over charged since I did my research and got various estimates. I finally decided to go with Falcon because of their stellar reviews and competitive estimate. I'm super happy I did, not only was my bumper fixed and repainted within 24 hours but it looks brand spanking new! I will for sure be returning and referring everyone I know to Falcon. Thanks again Falcon (Herson)! read more

These guys will take care of your car. I took in my 2011 Honda CR-Z which had front-end damage. I had shopped around a bit with some of the other nearby body shops, but I had a good feeling leaving my car with Falcon. I trusted my instinct, and I was right, they did a fantastic job. The car looks brand spanking new. They were nice and easy to deal with. Herson did all the dealing with my auto insurance (AAA) and I didn't have to hardly do a thing. He even gave me a ride down to the car rental place. I will definitely keep coming back here if I need to. read more

In the past two years I've taken 2 cars, a 9-year old Toyota and a 2-year old Honda, to Falcon for very minor body work prior to selling them. The work done on each car was as promised - the paint was matched nicely, the curb rash was miraculously gone and the interior was nicely shampooed and vacuumed. My only complaint is that they needed more time with the Honda and I had to call to find out it wouldn't be ready until the next morning. The Toyota looked great and was sold in less than a day. The Honda looks great too and goes up for sale tomorrow...fingers crossed! read more
