There are moments in life where an unexpected event damages your vehicles and it ends up costing thousands of dollars to fix. Mr. Arturo and his son are one of the few honest and professional people left in the business. They where so nice, and their prices are very reasonable. They did a fantastic job both times I took my Honda Odyssey. Once it was for a paint job and the second one for a mechanical problem with the sliding doors, and if you are familiar with Odyssey's you'll know that sliding doors are very delicate systems. They are fantastic! Honest pricing- far less expensive than competitors in Walnut Creek. Literally saved me $500. I'm addition, Arturo, during the Covid 19 home isolation, both picked up my car and dropped it back off. Seriously, I'd give him 10 stars if I could. Fantastic Job! Oustanding job, service and courtesy. I first went to get an estimate from Mike Rose auto body in pittsburg because I noitced how their shop was very nice. But right after I went in the office, I was not greeted at all by the front desk lady who pretty much ignored me. Some other person that was working in her desk said "can I help you?" Told her I had an appointment.. So she told me to just wait in the lobby and someone will come to help me. Anyway, an estimator took pictures and gave me a quote for what I thought was less than what I expected. It seems to me that these insurance agencies are working with Mike Rose to give you a low estimate so that if you decide to just get the money, you would have less than what your damage is truly worth. This guy just said "we can get started now or tomorrow, when do you want to do this. So I decided not to go through it and get a different estimate Arturo came to my place of work to give me 2 different quotes and guaranteed his work right after I called him. He was very pleasant and I was shocked to see that these guys use the same program to give estimates. The print out looked identical. But collision repair's estimate was higher because he was thorough. I decided after seeing the reviews posted to give him the job. He went above and beyond the scope of work he was suppose to do. Instead of just replacing damaged parts, he also fixed my hood by painting it over, cleaned and buffed my other headlight, that was not damaged, and fixed my trunk that lost its tension bar for free! He even fixed something that the insurance agency didnt want to pay for. The most amazing experience. It was my first car accident and the owner is a very good friend of my auto mechanic. He is extremely accommodating and honest man to work with. I am all for mom and pop shops and helping the small business owners. He came to my work in Walnut Creek to pick up my car on Monday noon and I got my car back by Thursday noon. My bumper fell off now it looks like new now. He also touched up my back bumper for free! (because he have paint left over from painting my front bumper) He also buffered up my headlights with no cost and I didn't even have to ask. We had the top of our 2001 Volvo painted as the paint was faded from being parked outside, scratches removed and painted on the side doors, and a dent removed near rear headlamp. The paint job was a perfect match and the repairing of the dent was flawless. Not only that when the car was ready it was washed, the wheels were scrubbed clean and shiny and the tires shiny black. Also when you open the trunk there was a bunch of old leaves stuck in a long slot at the trunk opening by the rear window which you could not see when the trunk was closed. Whenever you are looking for an auto body shop there are normally two scenarios you find yourself in: (1) Great work at an expensive cost or, (2) great price with less-than-subpar work. Luckily, you get the best of both scenarios at Collision Repair in Pittsburg, CA. To give a little context to my rating, my car, a 2006 VW GTI, was in a minor hit-and-run incident. The damage was localized to the driver's side fender and consisted of a dent about five inches in length and pushed inwards about one inch. It sounds insignificant, sure, but any repair can be botched in the wrong hands. I took the car to Collision Repair where I met Arturo, the maestro behind this very unassuming shop. We set up a date for me to drop it off and to pick it up. It was when I arrived that I was thoroughly blown away. The repair was executed flawlessly! Again, anyone with any sort of auto body skill can bang out the dent, slap some filler down, and repaint then give it to the customer. What separates Arturo from 'those' guys is the fact that he was able to do all this AND make the repair look like it didn't even happen in the first place! Normally, that'd be the end of my review of Arturo, his crew, and his shop, but it's not. I'm a huge Volkswagen enthusiast and enjoy attending and entering my car to car shows. As a result, my friends and I (and I'm sure many more can agree) have grown a keen eye to horrible body work. Having seen the work firsthand I couldn't be happier with the results. To say that Arturo knows what he is doing is an absolute understatement. My son's VW was sideswiped in front of out house early Sunday morning 2 weeks ago, crushing the front fender and tearing off the bumper. The car needed to be back because my son was moving the following week. On Monday, asked a few shops in Walnut Creek about a rush job. No takers. Then I called Arturo at Collision Repair. He got the car in the same days, ordered parts the next days, and had it back looking like new within one week! Even with some hidden damage to the composite radiator support that was found, which added a lot of time to take out the radiator and air conditioner parts, and refill them all. They even cleaning the whole inside of the car, which was in tough shape. Plus a Perfect paint match and door blend. Impressive. This was our second time with him. He restored our "totaled" 93 Volvo 960 wagon as a salvage repair after a side and back collision from a drunk driver on Rt 4. Plus, since the paint needed a lot of spot repairs elsewhere, and an old roof dent, we had him repaint the whole car in the factory color. Came out looking like new! The frame straightening and sheet metal work was done to perfection. He save some money straightening some understructure items that others would have just torn out and ordered new. Best paint job I've seen, glass smooth, no orange peel, nothing. Looks like a factory paint job, within the limits of a 17 year old vehicle. I like dealing with him, as this is not one of those huge, impersonal shops with a sales guy at the front desk. I've been to others shops with a receptionist to talk to at the front desk. At Collision repair, you're talking to Arturo (Narvaez) himself, who looks at the cars himself and gives you his best opinion and estimate. Very honest. Deals very well with the insurance adjuster and insurance company, if needed. He even delivered to my house no extra charge. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

I have used Collision Repair for 3 different body work problems: a 2006 Toyota Sienna, a 1999 Nissan Altima, and a 2012 Acura TL. The Sienna work was a couple of years ago and the other two vehicles were repaired recently. Arturo came to my house to do the estimates and gave me a great deal for all three repair jobs. The most recent one he discounted even more than usual because I asked him to work on two cars at the same time. In all cases he picked up the cars from my home and dropped them back off at my home. I did not have arrange any transportation of any sort. When Arturo took the Nissan Altima, the bumpers were falling off. Other body shops said they would have to cut the trunk and rework the frame and were going to charge an arm and a leg. Arturo did the work without touching the trunk and he did the frame pulling for free. Now it looks brand new and for not a whole lot more than the insurance deductible! I recommend Collision Repair and Arturo to all my friends and family. read more

Also a great experience -- twice. Most recently, I had a deep scratch on a side panel of my Sonata. Arturo repaired it like new for less than it would have cost just to buy the replacement panel (much less painting it, and installation labor). He also picked up the car and dropped it off repaired and spotlessly clean and washed, in Alamo. My drivers side door would not open, and I tried to repair it myself, I had mechanics look at it and we just couldn't do it. I knew I had to go to a body shop but was scared of the prices. I consulted a few. Arturo was friendly and honest. He quoted me a price and stuck to it. He kept me informed as well. Come to find out I need a part that's a few days out, he fixed up my car so it was good enough to drive and when the part comes in he will finish the work for me. I know that the door required more work than he thought it would but he stuck to the quoted price, which he didn't have to! I have to say I've always been intimidated by mechanics/body shops because it's so expensive but I will say I feel really good about taking my car there, he was extremely fair and helpful and didn't make me feel dumb. I was looking for a new body shop to take my 2012 Honda Accord to since I had 2 bad experiences with Mikes auto body. I decided to give collision repair a try. Arturo was very kind to wait after shop hours for me and my husband to arrive for a estimate. He took his time and inspected our car thorowly and went over everything with us. When I picked up my vehicle I was very pleased with the work that was done. My car looked like a brand new car of the lot. It was detailed inside and out. This body repair company and Arturo came recommended by our favorite auto service guys. Little did we know he is a superhero cleverly disguised as a REALLY nice fellow. !) The mobile aspect of what Arturo does is the first amazing service -- he arrived (early!) for an appointment to offer an estimate in OUR driveway. 2)Then, as the items needing repair on a much-dented-through-3-teenage-drivers Volksw Golf were noted, he would say "but I will also take care of (insert item here) since I will already have it in the shop". What?! You're going to do above and beyond like no body's business?! 3) Then, the estimate is handed over (mobile service, remember?) on the spot. You're going to do all this work + above and beyond for THIS price?! 4) We set up a pick up (mobile service, remember?) date and time. He took the car with a time estimate of 6 - 7 days for completion...guess what? 5) Delivered as promised! We thought he switched the old car for a brand new one...
