As a woman driver, who could be stranded due to lack of any instructions at all due to their lack of knowledge on the high end electric car and extreme unprofessionalism! My car didn't work after I made one stop after picking it up from them two days later snd after a hefty bill. I paid approx $500 in Lyfts for the two days. When I was stranded around 830pm alone, I called Intoxalock first and they stated the error on the screen was from the installer error with wiring and not them. It stated "Transmission failure". I had to get a ride home myself after the ride owner decided to play game on Intoxalock. DO NOT recommend OR go to them!!

About a year ago I got quoted $1,400 by Midas to get my axel boots replaced on my Toyota yaris. I called him in desperation-- my parents had brought their cars to him before but I had never brought mine in, but I had heard great things. I left a message and a couple days later he called back and said I could bring in my car early in the morning so he could take a look, no appointment needed despite his crazy busy schedule. He let me know that the issue was not nearly as bad as I had been told and that he could do the job for half of what Midas had quoted me. This was my first experience with him and he has consistently shown how much he truly cares about doing right by people and taking care of their cars honestly and to the best of his ability. I feel like I could trust him with my life. When he retires eventually I will have to go into mourning. If you are not sure whether the wait for an appointment is worth it, ask yourself if you can afford to pay double whatever he will charge you to another mechanic who will not be nearly as thorough as he will be. Recently, when he had to refer me to another shop because I needed a service he doesn't provide, he asked me to still follow up and let him know how it went after the work was done, just out of the pure kindness of his heart. He is a one in a hundred million kind of mechanic.
