zahir (cauliflower) and za'atar fries. falafel was excellent. so fresh. - The image shows a takeout meal with fried cauliflower florets, lettuce, and a container of dipping sauce, along with a side of seasoned fries and additional dipping sauce.

The place was bustling on a Saturday afternoon. I stopped by for a falafel sandwich, falafel bowl,…read moreand fries...and I was blown away. Here's why: - Quality: every item was fresh, and the falafel was not dry! I usually don't opt for falafel bc of how dry it is, but this one really wasn't! It was filling but moist and delicious. Also, the veggies and sauces paired well to give it flavor and texture. Again, usually not a fan of falafel, but I was this time. - Service: Food was pretty quick and the staff were really kind considering how busy the shop was. It took about 10 minutes to get the food. - Ambiance: This is a grab and go place. They have some high tables to quickly scarf down your meal or package your to go bag, but I suggest walking around Georgetown area to eat your food elsewhere. I will absolutely visit again and bring vegetarian friends. Such a bang for your buck!

I feel bad writing this but I believe Writing Authentic and honest review may inspire the owner to level up his food . That said, the food quality did not meet expectations. The falafel was overly firm and dry. The Greek salad lacked freshness--the lettuce appeared past its prime, and the tomatoes were soft and aging. Overall, it felt like a basic tossed salad with feta rather than a well-composed dish. The hummus had a smooth texture, but the flavor suggested a blended oil rather than a clean extra virgin olive oil profile. The pita was the strongest element of the meal--fresh and well prepared. Additionally, the use of styrofoam containers detracted from the overall experience. In summary, while the service at closing was considerate, the food did not reflect what I would consider high-quality or authentic Greek cuisine. .

They make and fry the falafel right in front of you and make everything to order. Love the sauce bar that you can grab from and they have all of the different flavors you need right there. They have bags and to go containers that you can get at any point. Service I do think this might be one of the slower locations, but they are always efficient. They do have a kiosk for you to order from. Ambiance In Western Market so no assigned seating, but might be the easiest location to sit down at because it is a food hall. There is so much open seating for you to find a seat at and the other locations are lacking in that.

The service was SUPER fast--perfect for a busy lunch/dinner rush-- and the price was very reasonable. The falafel itself was crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and everything tasted fresh. I also tried their za'atar fries, which were seasoned perfectly and totally addictive, sch a great side! What made the experience even better was knowing that every meal helps feed refugees in need. If you are looking for a quick, tasty, HEALTHY, and budget-friendly meal with a mission, Falafel is absolutely worth stopping by. :)

We came here on the final day to grab our falafel as part of the Yelp experience…read more This was considered my study break so I made it an outing with my husband and pup. We drove over and battled the cold to make it. We heard people yelling about how cold it was but that didn't stop us from our mission. The spot isn't a sit down restaurant but it has everything you need and I imagine it's perfect for grab and go picnics in the summer. I was really excited and ordered the falafel sandwich and bowl to go. My husband waited outside with the pup, both looking at me with those puppy eyes wanting to come indoors for some warmth. Anyway it was worth the wait. We came home and devoured our fries and falafel while watching a movie. The sauces are all amazing. If you like spice, the green sauce was a kicker. The Habibi sauce and white sauce are good for "lathering" your falafels without feeling the fire. Anyway thank you for the experience, love the falafels here and can't edit to try the other sandwiches.

Some of this review is based just on the limitations of the space, but also it's based on the food. First, full disclosure, I came here as a guest with Yelp Elite. I was able to get 2 falafels and fries. There seemed to be a lot of confusion at first about this but it was eventually worked out. I think what I found the most frustrating about the experience was a mixture of the incredibly long wait for the food and the lack of seating. I came here with my family before Zoo Lights. There were 4 hightop stools inside and that was it. The temperature outside was freezing so it was a fight to find any spots. Also, the sauces were stacked on the high top seating, which made it incredibly awkward whenever any other guest came in and tried to get the sauces as we sat there. But the wait is what really frustrated me. It took over 20 minutes to get our food. This spot has the feel of a quick grab and go. I'm not exactly sure what took so long. Maybe the fries? Speaking of the fries, they were fresh but the seasoning was a little too much for my taste. Falafel is a difficult sandwich to perfect. This one fell into the camp of falafel that I don't love -- overly dry and a little oily at once. On a positive note, I liked the variety sauces available. One other thing - there should be a garbage can inside. My kids kept spilling things and I had to constantly wipe it up. I found it odd that there was no garbage can inside the restaurant and the only way I could throw anything out was by going outside and throwing things away in the public garbage can. I appreciated the free falafel as part of Yelp Elite. However, I'm not sure I'll be rushing back here given the issues. Maybe it's a better spot during the warm months as they have more outside seating.

Decided to do a little bit of a late lunch, and boy was it good. -bbq lamb shoulder pita - absolutely delicious -crispy falafel - my favorite falafel spot is a hole in the wall in brooklyn ny, but this was quite good, needed more feta and red shatta yogurt though, and a pinch of onion. -smoked amba chicken - look, i'm not a chicken guy at a spot like this, but wow was this good, and likely the favorite of the three. The space itself is nice, the water area gets very crowded though because people are waiting for their food. Setup could be a smidge different, as even employees had a difficult time. Not my logistical problem though. I would easily recommend coming here.

There's a lot of seating indoors but can be a little hard if you're looking for a quieter atmosphere. They also have a couple of seats outdoors. The pastries were almost barren/nearly sold out, but definitely saw and have had previously the chicken shawarma pita sandwich which was delicious! This time I ordered the Halawa Honey which was a bit too sweet, but it was a nice twist of flavor and you could taste the tahini. My friend ordered the Baklawa Mocha which was a little too icy and I felt had too much milk. It drowned out the other flavors which was a bit disappointing.
