Loved this spot and I definitely want to come back to try more on the menu! Really enjoyed the falafel sandwich and fries. The staff was very nice and attentive! There is sitting outside. What a great addition to Woodley Park!

We were the first customers there so they were still setting up and put out the sauces shortly after we ordered. They were sooooo nice. They gave us two tote bags and we'd ordered the wraps and fries, all delicious!

The Chicken Swarma wrap was really good! Was presented inserted in an elongated paper container that was quite convenient to slide it out and back in, for handling. The chicken and the garlic sauce was on point and I found myself looking to order another one, before I could even finish it. Also got a Falafel bowl with greens and Falafel sandwich which were both tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The small counter was just enough space to rest your food on it, for a quick bite or to grab some sauces to go. The order was taken with a smile, and I felt welcomed and satisfied with her ability to help explain the different choices. I know I will be back to try more, and grab another Chicken Swarma wrap too!

This is counter-serve takeout only with a few tables outside the store. Located conveniently right outside the National Zoo entrance, a fantastic place to grab a quick bite if you're planning a zoo trip. The falafel sandwich at $5 each might be the best deal in all of DC. Good size pita stuffed with about 6 falafel balls and plenty of shredded veggies. On the counter inside the store are about 8 different sauces ranging from mild to spicy. These sauces can make every bite taste different but regardless, the falafel are fresh fried & tasty (though falafels are pretty simple & basic). A few other items on the menu but hard to beat a $5 sandwich nowadays.

How can anyone complain about a $5 falafel sandwich? :) I love how they have all the sauces for me to add to my falafel. There are plenty of pickled vegetables in the sandwich too. It was so delicious.

Five star for food and ambiance. Seating is outside, was nice temperature and weather tonight. Food was delayed, so three star for service.

I went to culinary school. The service was good. The food was not. It's nice that they have a selection of sauces that are free, but I didn't love any. The wrap was oily and left me with a stomach ache. It tasted less like a middle eastern wrap and more like a panini without cheese. Everything was melted together. It comes automatically with garlic sauce which grossly overpowered the wrap. It was 95% minced chicken and 5% pickles. I've been to Egypt and to Israel, Falafel Inc's seasoning is not good at all. Make a base of cumin, tumeric, coriander, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder, it'll elevate the flavors. Definitely not worth $14. Why do you charge $14 for a wrap and $8 for a bowl?

No better deal in the city than the $5 falafel sandwich. Delicious and cheap and filling. Their rice bowls are also 10/10.

Fantastic all around: hot falafel was amazing, some of the best hummus I've ever had, and beautifully-seasoned chips

The falafel Bowl is very good and an economical choice. In general, it is a good place to pick a healthy choice.

This location was much better and their staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a large location and who wouldn't want to grab a bite here and then find a seat at the beautiful waterfront. I ordered the falafel bowl with a side of hummus. Let's just say that for $5 that bowl was extremely generous in quantity and the fresh quality of each item was AMAZING! I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl. The side of hummus was sinfully good! Something I wouldn't mind ordering again to enjoy with their delicious pita chips Overall, I don't think I'll be visiting any other location but this one because they were fantastic!

Appreciate you can try different sauces to dip your fries or add to your sandwich or bowls. Only reason they didn't get a 5 star on this last visit was how long it took to get our order. It was a Saturday night, so we did mobile ordering and pickup. It said it would be ready within 3-15 minutes. I arrived 12 min after our order was placed. They were quite busy - and seemed the two employees working were a bit overwhelmed. There were a few people waiting for food, a line to order, they were out of containers for sauces, and some of the sauces were empty. I ended up waiting for an extra 25 minutes until I asked to check on an order - it was apparent from their reaction, our order got lost in the shuffle. Once they realized, they made it right away, which was appreciated. However, they grabbed a bag of fries that had been sitting on the counter since I walked in - so they were cold. Good thing - they do great in the air fryer! I've never experienced these issues before and it won't stop me from returning, definitely felt like a bit of an off night for them. Solid food, great cause, and one of the best affordable options for a quick bite at the Wharf! Recommend them!

It wasn't too sweet and held a perfect blend of walnut, rose, and orange bloom. Very creamy and enjoyable There is also a great selection of savory bites, sandwiches, and pastries I decided to try the SFEEHA and that was soooooooo good! This was a visit that we really wish had gone better because there is so much to love about Yellow…read more(which we'll get into), but a lot of things just really rubbed us the wrong way. First of all, the woman with gray hair and several tattoos was beyond obnoxious to us and she should have a talking to by management. It wasn't busy when we were ordering, and we had a few questions because it was our first time there, and she was just nasty about...everything. Why she works in customer service is beyond us. Let's talk about what we really loved: the hibiscus karkade and mish mish soda nonalcoholic drinks were so delicious. They were refreshing without being too sweet, which was perfect for the swelteringly hot day. The levantine pickles were interesting and a good crunch start to the meal, but the smashed cucumbers were just gross. You could tell that they had been sitting for a while (possibly over a day) because they were slimy and mealy and the whole thing was drowning in liquid. You got zero taste of the scallion oil. The hummus was great, as was the lamb leg "cheesesteak," which was completely unique and special. Finally, the shatta batata were also quite original, and we appreciated the spices and insanely-addictive dipping sauce. Here's what we hated: the hummus, pickles, and cukes were all served in to-go containers. We get that this place is casual, and maybe it makes sense for the veggies, but the hummus container had literally HALF of the dip carved out--and it cost $10! We feel like we got what we paid for with the $22 "cheesesteak," but the tots (served in a bag) were $13. The pricing just seemed way off for what you actually ended up getting... ...which was especially the case with the two soft serves that we tried, the baklawa labne and the tahini oat. They were wonderful and creamy and, again, unique, but with the added surcharge and the (undeserved) tip, they came to over $25. We're kind of a mixed mind about this place. Like, some dishes were really, really good, but the value was not there and the service was beyond off-putting. Not sure if we'll be back again. Maybe.
