This place is such a gym. The food is classic, consistent, and just overall very delicious. I love that they have so many options for non-meat eaters, especially things that would be traditionally me only. I love the falafel's, but my absolute favorite is just pita and tzatziki. I also have to give a shout out to their sauces, there's so many in. They're all so flavorful and so good. My preference is the spacey green and the white garlic sauce. So so so yummy. There's tzatziki was just so good and authentic tasting. I love the mission that this restaurant stands for and the support they provide to nonprofits. Regarding Service, the team is always prompt and pleasant. I will say if you are ordering at the restaurant to go, it may be best to order ahead since often it can take up to 20 to 30 minutes (from my experience) to get your food. Typically the store space is on the smaller side, so while you can eat in, I typically just take it to go for convenience reasons. Came on a Saturday just a few minutes past their opening time. No line but I waited quite a bit for someone to take my order - I was given a free falafel sandwich though (at least, I think that's why that one was on the house). Got two falafel sandwiches and a falafel bowl (came with parents). The falafel sandwiches didn't have fresh falafels, they tasted stale and not crunchy. The ones in the falafel bowl were way better, hot. The falafels are really small and not fluffy inside, not really crunchy outside. $4 for a sandwich and $7 for a bowl - sandwich is pretty small though with not much in it and the pita bread is really thin, not the thick chewy kind. This is actually pretty solid. I came as part of a Yelp Elite event which gave me a bowl or a sandwich and I chose the sandwich. The pita was very soft and tender inside. They loaded it up with a lot of falafel and other veggies. My one caveat is you need to add some kind of sauce to it in order to give it any kind of decent flavor. Whatever they put inside is kind of bland. As for the sauces, my favorite was the green one. The habibi sauce was okay and the white sauce was very bland. The red one was too hot for me but very tasty as well. It also came with fries which were quite good. I used the dipping sauces for those as well Parking is on the street and there's plenty of it in Georgetown. No worries there. Services at the counter and there are some tables you can stand and eat at if you want to, but it's more of a takeout sort of vibe. The place looks reasonably clean. I showed them the time of opening is 10.30 . She was very engry and someone came to take my order and I ask the lady may I know the person name . Stopped by yesterday after hearing about this place from a friend in DC! They had me hooked with the cheap food + humanitarian values. The store was crowded with the line out the door despite the blistering cold, which to me was proof that something must be tasty inside! The line moved quick, and we tried their falafel sandwich, falafel bowls, and za'atar fries. The falafel was bite sized, but portioned generously in the sandwich and bowl. The veggies were crisp and fresh, and the sauces inside worked wonderfully! I especially liked the combo of habibi + the classic tahini. The fries were well seasoned, but on the softer side. I always go for the sandwiches because at $4 they are such a good deal. The sauce bar and to go containers allow you to mix and match the different flavors. You get I believe four falafel balls in one sandwich, which is wild for DC and especially Georgetown prices. Make sure to go for their special sauce and the red sauce with plenty of garlic. Can't go wrong with more than you think you need here. Services is always super efficient even when the line hits the door. The staff are helpful and kind when taking your order. There isn't really any room to sit so be prepared to stand and take the food to go. It was one of the tastiest and most satisfying falafel sandwiches I have had, other than a falafel wrap from a Lebanese couple at a local market. I didn't have an appetite and didn't want to eat much because of anxiety issues today. Nothing at the mall food court appealed to me, but a falafel sandwich did. Located behind an unassuming storefront off one of the main streets of Georgetown, Falafel Inc. is a not-so-hidden gem with great vegetarian food and an even greater mission: donating part of their proceeds to feeding refugees across the globe who are battling food insecurity. I stopped into the restaurant on a Thursday night at around 7:45pm - the interior is tiny, resembling a tiny factory room, with exposed wooden slats and metal pipes. You order up at the front counter, and they give you a receipt with a number on it, which they'll call when your order is ready. Everything here is an amazingly good value, especially given the high prices of the Georgetown area - I ordered a Bowl, which usually comes with Falafel for $5, but they were nice enough to make it for me with half Falafel and half Vegan Shawarma, only adding on an additional $0.50! The bowl comes with a salad of red cabbage, tabouli, pickles and zaatar chips on greens, with special sauce." You can also add any one of their plethora of house sauces, located at the side of the restaurant near the entrance/exit. My dish held up quite nicely even after the 30-minute walk back to my apartment - the salad greens stayed fresh and cool, whereas the vegan meat and falafel elements stayed nice and warm. I'll start with the falafel - the bowl came with five or six pieces of this crispy goodness! They're small, but immensely flavorful and not dry at all on the inside - perfectly spiced, but you can still taste the subtle earthiness of the chickpeas. The vegan shawarma tastes almost exactly like chicken (coming from someone who eats meat almost religiously), with a moist, tender bite flowing with juices! Onto the salad portion of the bowl: the greens and red cabbage taste fresh and crunchy, soaking up the rich, creamy special sauce/dressing that they top it with. The tabouli is a small portion, but has strong (not overpowering) notes of mint and parsley, and the pickles add a nice acidity and brininess to the dish. Finally, the zaatar chips (which basically taste like lightly-fried, herby pita chips) add a great crunch, and they aren't too salty! I tried all six of their add-on sauces, and I can say that three of their standouts are their Habibi (flagship spicy garlic sauce that hits basically every different taste bud), their Mazbout (a tahini-based sauce that lends an amazingly rich umami flavor to everything), and their Invisible Sauce (a green jalapeño-based sauce with a pleasantly mouth-numbing sensation) - when used together, these sauces balance each other out perfectly! Of course, all of the rest of their sauces are great as well.
