The restaurant has maintained its classic, traditional steakhouse charm with its dark wood interior and timeless atmosphere. It is refreshing to see that it has stayed true to what made it special all those years ago. We came to celebrate my partner's birthday, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Jessica greeted us as though we were family and provided genuine, attentive hospitality throughout the evening. She was knowledgeable, eager to help, and checked on us frequently without ever making us feel rushed. The entire staff ensured we had everything we needed, making the celebration feel special. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail. While the shrimp were certainly jumbo in size, this is one appetizer I would probably skip next time. The crab cake, however, was outstanding. It was full of crab, perfectly seasoned, and one of the highlights of the meal. The Chilean sea bass was another standout. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and served over spinach that was absolutely delicious. The truffle mac and cheese was equally impressive--rich, creamy, and packed with real truffle flavor. Unfortunately, the NY strip steak was the biggest disappointment of the evening. We ordered it medium, expecting the warm pink center that defines a properly cooked medium steak, but it arrived closer to medium well. Beyond being overcooked, the flavor and overall quality simply did not live up to the expectations of a classic steakhouse. For dessert, we shared the key lime pie, which was fantastic. The filling was smooth and creamy, while the nutty crust added an unexpected texture and flavor that made it one of the best parts of the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that the dining room became quite loud once it filled up. We were happy we arrived right when the restaurant opened at 5:30 (early birds) because conversation became more difficult as the evening progressed. While the steak missed the mark, the outstanding service, delicious seafood, excellent sides, and nostalgic atmosphere still made for a memorable birthday celebration. Christy's continues to deliver the kind of warm hospitality that has kept guests returning for generations. I just hope the steaks can once again live up to the restaurant's long-standing reputation.

The wedge salad was unbelievable and easily enough for two. My prime rib was served the way I like it and the size more then ample. I was a bit disappointed in the service. Our waitress was very nice but the food was served in a haphazard manner. Not elegantly. My biggest disappointment was the noise level. I was having dinner with old friends and we had a lot to catch up about. It was almost impossible to hear across the table. With food as good as it is, and prices as high they are. One should be able to enjoy a second bottle of wine and able converse with their dinner mates for as long as they want. We should not have to go to another place to continue are conversation.

The steak was cooked to perfection and juicy. This is a place for a great churrasco. It is a bit pricey but it's a quaint place to enjoy a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting.

After they were closed for 3 years for the remodel, we decided to return for our anniversary, and it was such a great experience. They seated us near the bar, which we loved, and from the start the service was outstanding. The bartender at the main bar was amazing, and we were also taken care of by a Venezuelan server who was excellent and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant looks beautiful now: very well decorated, polished, and professional, while still feeling warm and special. The food was excellent. The picanha was incredible, and the fries, lobster mac and cheese, and arepas to start were all so good. We also went on a Tuesday, so the all day 2 for 1 drinks was a great bonus, and they even gave us complimentary anniversary drinks, which was such a nice touch. Coming back after 5 years and having the service and overall experience be this good was really special. Hereford Grill is truly a Miami icon and absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended.

We had reservations for 7pm on a Saturday night and it was a good thing because the place was packed and there was a line waiting. We were shown to our table next the the pretty fountain and were immediately taking our drink orders. Appetizers: the medium sampler platter is plenty for 4 adults and we had some leftovers. I love the fried cheese, riblets, taquitos and chorizo. I'd be happy to order this as my main meal honestly. Entree: baby churrasco, which is the perfect size but I could only eat half since the appetizer, yummy bread, salad and the sides of rice and beans and platanitos and mariquitas filled me up. Everything delicious including the trio of yummy condiments. Only ding was my drink. I ordered a very dry martini but got a dirty. Oh well. Otherwise everything was nice. Service was attentive if a bit slow but our server couldn't crack a smile for nothing. We tried. He must've been having a bad day. Also, I couldn't check in. There was no internet service. I've been here plenty but this was the first time I couldn't connect. I still got my pics though. I recommend if you are craving an ok churrasco on the cheap. $27.99 including sides, salad and bread is still a great price in 2026.

Before I continue, I must acknowledge my own bias that I have been coming here for decades and many of the dearest celebrations that have been held by friends and family who grew up in this neighborhood took place here; certain family traditions are special. Guests are treated to this Nicaragua restaurant fair with Spanish influence and I have been happy to be coming here for what I can only approximate to be three decades. I also acknowledge that we are familiar faces since money talks and repeat business holds more weight. It's because of that that my family continues to opt to come here. Dinner wouldn't be dinner without an order of fried cheese and a nice Big Daddy Churrrasco steak. We were helped by Frank and German/Hernan and receded and treated kindly and welcoming despite arriving at 9 o'clock on an evening where the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. Service was top-notch from the entirety of the staff team from the bus to the back way to the head server. I ordered my steak medium, and I am pleasantly surprised to report to the YELP community that arrived exactly as I hold for which is something that a lot of restaurants miss and air on the side of caution by sending it out medium well. I'm not a steak snob or a steak foodie or a steak of fish I'm just a guy who can tell the difference between medium and medium and well and I'm glad that they followed through accurately. The interior feels like an outside Hacienda and there's something comforting about that to me something nice and different in a place where everything has to be chic. I'm just a guy who likes to eat good food and be treated well. Had a nice price point with people I care about this case my immediate family so that's why I'm giving this place five stars. I think it's worth checking out if you're interested.

Now you have your typical sides like rice, beans, tostones, salad, yuca, etc and than you have different cuts of steak, pastas, seafood, and more. Truly something for everyone. The thing is there flavors pack punch and the food is so tasty and cooked just right. I recommend try Everything!! On the table they brought fresh warm complimentary bread rolls but ordered was the meat platter to share for 2 but its more like 4 in my opinion. It had sausage, chicken, blood sausage, steaks, and something called mollejas. I understand there glands...I know it might not be for everyone but it was actually terrific and I'd come back just for that. Also on the table was a Uruguay steak (forgot the proper term) that was tender and juicy, the chicken with mushrooms was light and one of my favorites, there was also tostones, Russian potato salad, avocado salad, garlic shrimp, another steak. I'm not a fan of the green maybe chimichurri stuff. it wasn't terrible but had a funky underlying taste - which actually made me want to try it more to figure it out. For dinner, we shared the Colorado wagyu - delicious and tender, melts in the mouth - I can only imagine how amazing the pricier cuts are - it was cooked perfectly.
