The food is great but the service is absolutely terrible lately. I don't know what happened to this place but it's fallen off big time. I came here recently with 2 other people and we all ordered kabobs. After you order, they give you a number to put on your table that says "kabobs take 15 min to cook", which is fine. I know this because I've been coming here for years. We sit at the table and wait for our kabobs.... And 48 minutes goes by!! I look around and I notice one of the workers is giving the female manager a NECK MASSAGE behind the cash register, and another worker is EATING FOOD behind the cash register as well! One of the people in my party gets up to ask where our food is. One of the workers that was actually not getting massages or eating looked up our ticket number, printed it out again, and handed it to the people in the kitchen. Then our food came out 5 min later. This worker acted so inconvenienced that we asked where our kabobs were! After 48 minutes! Don't go to this Fadi's unless you want to watch the workers get massages and eat while you starve waiting triple the time for your kabobs!!!! read more

This place is so good! I haven't enjoyed a meal that much in a very long time. It's now on my top 3 list of favorite restaurants. I'll be back any time I'm in town. I love that I can try a variety of options, most are quite healthy, and there were so many interesting foods to try. Customer service is great also. read more

I could tell this is still a new place but I expect it to get packed once Mediterranean lovers find out. I personally chose the salad bar option with a plate and for $15 I got to choose 6 options from an array of delicious sides in a buffet like style and a kabob plate. I'm coming back especially because their jalapeño hummus was the best I've ever had. The chicken kabob came on a bed of rice and was super tender and flavorful. The staff is friendly and patient with letting you try some samples before picking. Definitely coming back to get my Mediterranean fix. read more

My favorite was probably the chicken kabobs! It had some lemon seasoning which was amazing. They also gave out complimentary tea, which was cool. 5 stars for everything here! The food, the staff, the decor, the cleanliness... everything is amazing! I had a chicken kebab and I can't even begin to accurately describe just how delicious it was! The chicken was moist and so flavorful but still had a little crunch to it! And the rice it came with was perfect! Husband had a lamb wrap and he loved it as well. Absolutely delicious food! Have always loved Fadis and was so excited to see one close to me now! The selection might not be as vast as the other Fadis but all the favorites are here! We had the salad plate (as many sides as you want) with chicken kabob and gyro pizza - WAY too much food for two people but so worth it for $22. Affordable. Delicious. Wholesome. Wow. I made a Yelp account to recognize this place because this place needs to stay! An absolute jewel of a restaurant. I have been to the other Fadi's and this one is special. The biggest highlight of this location is that you can choose to fill your salad plate with all of the sides you choose as long as it fits on there. This is an amazing opportunity as everything I tried was delicious, but especially the rice with walnuts and grapes and the mama ghanoush which I highly, highly recommend. Having no limit for what sides you can choose somehow felt too good to be true, but it really was true. Everything was fresh, healthy, and extremely generously served (seriously, they have lids on hand for your leftovers; use them). As for the kebab (I had the chicken), it was the juiciest and most tender kebab I've had to date. Will definitely be getting it again after I try their other options! Beautiful location and friendly and helpful staff were a plus. Still think I'm exaggerating how good this place is with this review? Try it yourself and you won't regret it. :) read more

I have been a customer of Fadi's on Westheimer for years and was so excited when this location opened near my home. My first visit was wonderful. I felt valued as a customer and the food was great. My second visit was a very different experience. There was one person taking orders, collecting money and plating the food. Although the restaurant was not busy, he seemed harried. The grilled shrimp on rice was good but the pita was dry and not fresh. The self service water was empty the entire time I was there. This experience was very very different that my initial impression of this restaurant. I sincerely hope that this location can get it together. If not, they won't survive long in this location. In the Museum District, there are a lot of good reasonably priced restaurants. read more

This place is good/slightly above average for traditional Mediterranean but I just logged into their website check out and I won't be coming back. They have increased their prices drastically. 6 half sides + kabob used to be 17 ish dollars. Now they are charging that for 3 half sides (prior close to 13$). It was a great deal for the old prices but now it's just a rip off. At that price, I much favor Aladdin's which has similar menu and quality but more for your money. read more

The falafel was the perfect texture and the whole wrap came together beautifully. It made me full and happy for a low price, so I highly recommend Fadi's to anyone! I was looking for a place nearby that would accommodate vegetarians, and this restaurant really exceeded my expectations. The customer service was kind, and they offered a beautiful, complimentary black tea with mint after our meal. The food itself was delicious, hot, diverse, and served in a clean environment. The table has some delicious zattar and the pita bread is complimentary, too. The zattar was very salty, but without as much salt would have been delicious as well. I went to Fadi's for years in Dallas and have visited the one in Bellaire as well, however this location completely misses the mark. First of all, the service is subpar. Given that the menu is very different here, there was no clear guidance or explanation when we were clearly confused given that we know the menu like the back of our hand. There was no cauliflower or potatoes, and the serving of rice was so stingy. The spicy hummus tasted like it had gone bad, and looked like cat food. We got the gyro, and the meat appeared to be microwaved and didn't have any char or crispiness. We also got the kebab plate, the vegetables are on the kebab but the meat isn't. The vegetables looked like someone took a lighter and tried to add some color and then stopped. The beef was so chewy I started gagging and had to spit it out. The roasted vegetables are served cold which didn't taste good. The only redeeming aspects were the beet salad and quinoa salad. We will never come back to this location. read more

Supported this place since it first opened and even throughout COVID closing time- since they became more popular, they don't care about loyal customers. Lastly- 50% of the employees don't wear masks (the folks handling food were the ones wearing) - agree with an earlier review by someone else. Even the ones wearing masks have them on their chins or are not wearing them appropriately. I realize people in Texas don't believe in pandemics - but please be safe y'all. We drove to Houston just to visit Children's museum and it was time for quick lunch. With Yelp, I picked Fadi's eatery due to its proximity and something different from our every day's meal. I ordered Lamb Shank, Chicken curry and beef and shrimp kebab. It was piping hot ready when we picked up. The lamb shank was incredible: fall off of the bone tender. Chicken curry gravy was really good. The only thing kids didn't really favor was beef kebab because of chewiness. If we travel again to H town, this would be one of my favorite places to visit. read more

So we tried this place for the first time when we discovered that it's opened up right next to our regulars Dak & Bop and Barnaby's. Since then we've been here three times, a take out each time. The choice of salads and hummus are a delight, our favourites Kale and apple salad, the Walnut hummus & the onion and mushroom hummus. The roasted potatoes are lovely too. The chicken shawarma pizza is an interesting twist to the usual and one delicious one at that! And the Kibbeh is awesome! Crispy crust and yummy meat filling and we are glad to have made the discovery. The falafel wrap is delicious, and oh the baklava is a perfect end to the scrumptious meal you can get here! read more

I recommend scouting out the entire serve line before you join the queue to get an idea what you want first as if you see everything for the first time in the queue you will want everything! The salad options were super tasty, the schwarma was amazing and the main dishes I tried were so good too! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. In a post covid world buffet restaurants and there germ magnet foods should be a thing of the past.
