Love this location for its simplicity, cleanliness and food quality. Popular with the lunch crowd, but I have never suffered a long wait.

Decent service until a young man behind the counter named David started handling the slices of pita with one gloved hand and one BARE hand. I let him know directly that that was soooo bad for obvious reasons PLUS Covid is the worst time to be half-stepping with someone's food! Aside from this, my own pita is half stale (it cracks) while the other half is not. The salmon and rice have a good taste but overall, it is very unlikely that I'll return. The kabob only had a half of a tomato, a tiny mushroom and 2 pieces of onion and that was also very disappointing. The avocado and the spicy hummus were both okay. The tabouli and cucumber salads were good. The place was very clean and the employees were wiping down after a dine in customer left while I was there. read more

Yooooo so this joint just opened up 2 mins away from our apartment. I think it's the missing piece to the puzzle for this strip on Binz (right beside Dak n Bop & Barnaby's). Food: the standard kabobs and gyros on the menu, plus Mediterranean fairs. Fresh tasting food. My favourite is the sayadieh (fish and rice) They have an enormous amount of sides to choose from and they're all very delicious. Highly recommend the eggplant w/ chickpeas in a tomato (sauce), tabouli, traditional hummus, and the kale salad. If you want the best of everything, get their $15 special combo where you get your protein plus any and all sides you can fit in the plate. I felt ginormously gluttonous--but no regrets! Had so much left over for another meal. Make sure to try their fresh fruit juices and desserts! Atmosphere/surroundings: clean, spacious, and vibrant. If you are familiar with this strip, you know that parking is abhorrent, but you can certainly park in the neighbourhoods. Would recommend parking on Ewing st (against the Davita dialysis) if there are no spots in the garage. Service: fantastic service. They are so friendly and eager to serve you. Fadi's opened yesterday on Binz and I had no idea. We just happened to be over there to find dinner for the evening and we saw they were open and decided to stop. When we first walked in we were immediately greeted by smiling faces and warm greetings. We were given a run down of the menu and the new opening special which by the way is amazing because it gives you the chance to taste everything they have to offer on the salad bar with your choice of protein. The regular plate for the salad bar is a nice size and it won't leave you hungry. So, the salad bar has everything from hummus to salad to fruit! Believe me, you won't be disappointed at all! I decided to try Baba Ganough, grilled cauliflower, kale salad with fruit, and potatoes. At the end of the salad bar you have pita that I believe is unlimited. For my protein, I did a gyro wrap. And believe me when I say EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. The only thing that made me sad was that they didn't have Greek salad without tomatoes available. The only reason this made me sad is because 1) I am allergic to tomatoes and 2) I love Greek salad. But once I sat down and started eating my food, I quickly forgot about that Greek salad lol. Everything was extremely savory! For drinks they offer water, bottled soft drinks, tea and fresh juice. Fadi's expertly serves up tasty food made fresh with high quality ingredients. I've literally never had anything that was bad or unsatisfactory. This location is a bit more of an "express" version and caters to both takeout as well as dine in. You won't find the homemade pita or full selection of menu items at the larger Fadi's, though it seems they will rotate them through their specials. My favorites include the stuffed potato item on the salad bar, the spicy baba ganoush, falafel, fruit couscous and lentil soup. The shrimp kabob comes with large juice shrimp that are well seasoned and grilled to perfection served over rice with grilled veggies and garlic sauce. Beef kibbeh and beef filet kabob are served the same way and are excellent. Again, you can't really go wrong with whatever choice you make. I like to challenge myself to try at least one new thing each time I visit. Service is excellent - you order at the first counter, make your way through the salad bar, then pay by the dessert and drink stations. Warm pita is brought to you after you sit down. Staff are friendly, happy to explain any items to you and sometimes even give out free dessert! Place is very clean. My only complaint is that they only seem to have plastic utensils and disposable plates. This is probably because this is more of a "to go" concept of the original Fadi's. They are using natural containers, though - no styrofoam. Very glad to have them in the neighborhood! read more

I had this food delivered by Grubhub. I got the chicken wrap with a side of humus and pita. The food was terrible, the chicken was dry, the pita was half soft and half hard, and they didn't add sauce or anything to the wrap. I have never been so disappointed. The falafel was great, but wouldn't recommend the sweet potato, too oily. I noticed a different price than the website on my bill. The falafel wrap was 10.99 and on the website it says 8.99. The fries was 4.58 and on the website it was 2.99. Not sure which one is correct. The restaurant needs to do something about the smoke and odor, maybe a better ventilation. I've been frequenting this location for several years, it's one of my favorites. However, today's experience was so disconcerting I've sat down in the restaurant to post this review. With my order, I asked for fresh cauliflower, not the few remaining pieces sitting in grease. She then gave me a look as though my request was an issue for her. I sat an waited for fresh cauliflower order only to find she'd disappeared when it was ready. I had to request someone else to complete my order. This young man was THE WORST!!! I was trying to explain order to him but he didn't listen and proceeded to prepare my order incorrectly. He then asked Betty about order, and charged me for a separate order of cauliflower, which is NOT what I ordered. Upon trying to AGAIN explain order to him, his attitude was such that I asked for a manager. Betty stepped in to take my payment. After a conversation about the male employee, I asked for his name to which she said, "I CANNOT GIVE YOU HIS NAME" Absolutely unacceptable! Not your regular Fadi's, this location is a Fadi's express, smaller menu options than your regular Fadi's but none the less they have a good selection of salads, desserts and meats. The interior was very clean, nice and modern looking, affordable prices, their meat seasoning was really good, fast service and they have parking at location. Must try their flan. Also they offer fruit insfused water as a courtesy and they offered a nice hot tea with mint leaves to guest this time. Overall a good place. read more

And by a little, I mean there was a bird amount of it. Have you noticed how many birds there are? Too many. Like why are there so many? That's how much MSG there was. I was so full and tired after just my salad! That's just grass!! Could barely eat my kabob (which was good) when it came out. Outstanding selection of tasty food! We are visiting from out of town. We were in the Museum District, looking for a restaurant for lunch. As we drove by on Binz, I saw the name Fadi's, recognized it as a Lebanese name, and saw the word "Mediterranean" on the window. That was all I needed to tell my partner (who was driving) to stop. We had a terrific lunch. We chose the one-visit salad bar, which came with generous portions of six choices from their abundant offerings. The grilled cauliflower was fabulous. I always hesitate when ordering brussels sprouts because sometimes they are under-cooked; these were perfect. So many options for hummus! This place has great food! The only issue is their setup is a little weird. We did a combo plate so we got to pick 2 sides with our entree, but the entree took a bit longer (had to be cooked whereas the sides were out already in a kind of buffet style display), so we got our sides first and then our main dish came 10 min later. Not bad at all but it was just weird because we ate our meal separately, it would've been nice to have the whole thing at the same time. But the food itself was so good! Me: What do you mean you don't have an order for me? Arrogant man: Well it didn't come through. I can make it for you, it'll take 15 mins. Let me see your order again. Came in to get take outs today after MFA night. Half of the cooks and cashiers are not wearing masks properly (or any at all). Unfortunately this is a byproduct of complacency despite our rising number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Houston. Wearing a mask while cooking or serving prepared food should be mandatory to protect the customers as we gradually reopen. Definitely will not be ordering from here again. For what it's worth, the wait was ~20 min when there was only one order ahead of us. Addendum: the food itself is a solid 3 star. Great portion but a bit too much sauce in the wrap 2/5. I came here recently with 2 other people and we all ordered kabobs. After you order, they give you a number to put on your table that says "kabobs take 15 min to cook", which is fine. I know this because I've been coming here for years. We sit at the table and wait for our kabobs.... And 48 minutes goes by!! I look around and I notice one of the workers is giving the female manager a NECK MASSAGE behind the cash register, and another worker is EATING FOOD behind the cash register as well! One of the people in my party gets up to ask where our food is. One of the workers that was actually not getting massages or eating looked up our ticket number, printed it out again, and handed it to the people in the kitchen. Then our food came out 5 min later. This worker acted so inconvenienced that we asked where our kabobs were! After 48 minutes!
