The Halal Guys has always been one of my go to spots for when I'm craving Halal food. It is super simple, but also super satisfying at the same time. The meats are very tender. The flavor of everything combined is very comforting. It's a good and healthy(I think) option!

Came in on a Friday night place was packed but like goes super fast. Basically a chipotle style place for Mediterranean bowls. Food 3.5/5: got the combo bowl, fairly tasty bowl although could use some variety in texture Ambiance 2/5: pretty dingy inside, Service 4/5: very fast preparing food, friendly, not much actual "service" but I bumped the score up for how convenient the place is Value 4/5: bowls look pretty big but a large part of it is just lettuce leaves. Still, a fair price for what you're getting Overall 3.4/5: ok food that's convenient with decent price Parking: parking lot to the side of the building

Middle eastern chipotle. Love their spicy sauce, always go ham on it. Gyro meat is full of flavor and super tender, falafel is where it's at tho, crisp outside fluffy inside, love this place!

Great food--fresh, fast, and plentiful! Get some crinkle fries with your platters, they're always made fresh!

Been a while since I had a gyro so decided to pop in for one. Didn't bother with the app this time. Gyro was good and service was fast. Guy in front of me kept flirting with the staff which was annoying because it was holding up the line but the staff seemed to enjoy his compliments about their physical appearance.

Place is very small with just a couple tables but I think a lot of people may get to go orders.. Plenty of parking as there is closed business next door. Plenty of staff and quick service.. You either get a Gyro or have the ingredients put into a round tin small or large size. Small is plenty for the average person, if very hungry fry the large... When ordering I give you a heads up because they are a bit heavy handed on the sauces...so if you don't want to much or want to put exact amounts ask for all sauces on the side and they give you packets for the white and hot sauce. If you do let them add while making be sure to tell them just a little for the white sauce and for the hot sauce (it is very hot) tell them 1 line.. They also have chicken option also if you don't want gyro meat... I ordered a gyro and it was delicious and I will return for sure..

This location had the friendliest workers and super fast service. The inside is not very large with just a few tables and we took our order to go. The regular platter is a great deal and a generous enough portion to cover two small meals. I enjoyed it very much!

Went here to grab food to take back to the hotel. It was good but not as good as the other locations I've been to. It could be possible that I took it togo. I'd go back to try again.

I love their food and the flavors. This location is pretty small. There weren't many people in there yet it was super loud! I felt rushed also. I love that they dropped my fries in the fryer fresh, but was then disappointed that I was charged for toppings (olives and hummus. Even though pita bread is included in the meal) Parking spaces are limited unless you park in the adjacent lot after their normal business hours. Overran it was good this is just not my preferred location.

I had heard great things about the cafe at this new location, and had even tried their former location on Hillcroft a couple years ago as part of TooGoodToGo. While the concept is casual, the restaurant itself is very polished and feels like an upscale cafe. There is plenty of seating indoors as well as a huge patio outdoors. We opted to sit on the patio on a (rare) nice Houston day. The tables were spacious and the patio seating was very comfortable. We ordered the Kofta Kabob and Chicken Kabob specialty platters. These platters come with your choice of two sides - we went for the Fried Cauliflower, Tabouli Salad, Hummus, and Muhammara. The meats were so good and hit the spot. The Kofta Kabob had a complexity of flavor to it; so many spices that blended together really well. I will say that the post-meal burps of these spices were...smellier than usual. The Chicken Kabob was also flavorful and had a nice smokiness to it from the grill. I liked the slight crunch provided by the char along the edges. If I knew how to make chicken like this, it would be my daily meal prep! The Fried Cauliflower had a nice sear to it with lots of flavor. The Tabouli Salad and Hummus were comparable to those I've had at other Mediterranean places. The Muhammara was my favorite of the sides! It is a dip like hummus but also incorporates tomatoes, red bell peppers, and onions, among other spices; there was so much flavor to it and I could snack on this all day. The included pita bread was large, fluffy, and piping hot - perfect for dipping between the two side dips we got. Service was quick and friendly. The employee taking our order behind the counter was friendly and gave us the recommendation for the Muhammara - great rec. When our food was brought out and we had questions on some of the ingredients, the staff was very knowledgeable and knew right away what everything was.

Upon delivery to our table (you order at counter) I was pleased to see the generous portion sizes then as we dug in, the flavors were yum! Even though there with many people there, there was plenty of seating and a nice sized patio we should have sat and enjoyed the cool breeze as it's on the East side of the restaurant. I don't think beer/wine or available so it's probably BYOB, didn't ask. The sweets looked really good. Abddallah's will certainly be one of our regular dining spots from now on. We should have tried it sooner!

It's not a large place, located in a strip mall, but there's plenty of seating for a fast moving lunch crowd. You walk in and instantly see a menu, and order at the counter. There's premade wraps and bowls to choose from, where you pick the protein and can add extra toppings at a cost. Or you can make your own custom bowl or wrap. Since it was my first time I decided not to be cute and stuck with a premade wrap- the Caesar Crunch, with Saffron chicken. I LOVED IT. There's so much flavor, but nothing overpowering the other spices. And the pita crisps and fries inside the wrap just take this to the next level! My friend got a custom bowl, and had saffron rice with a saffron kabob, and said it was too much saffron ha! Lessons were learned! They also have a smattering of free sauces one can try, and I love me some sauces. I can't wait to be back and try more wraps!

This is the case with Lama Mediterranean Cuisine in The Woodlands. My wife had a doctor's appointment at 2 pm and we live about 35 miles away, I figured go early and get some lunch and then get to the doctor with a full stomach. We put the address into the GPS and pulled right up in front of the restaurant. While it was nice weather outside, we decided to sit indoors and I am glad we did because I noticed some diners outdoors were batting away insects. Our server, Abraham came quickly and took our drink orders while we studied the menu and admired the beautifully decorated interior of the restaurant. Blue is a strong color they have used effectively, there is a large dinging room for a big group just off the main dining room and a bar at the far west end. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly, We had a small order (4 pieces) of the Fried Hallumi Cheese and also Kebbeh. Both came with a small sampling of cucumber, tomato and red onion which paired well. The Kebbeh had the most fragrant seasoning, I believe a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. The serving sizes were ample and after trying some we both agreed to save room for the entrees we ordered, my wife had the Gyro Sandwich and I had the Chicken Shawerma, both were wrapped in a super fresh pita that had to be house made. My wife had the regular fries and I had sweet potato which were cooked perfectly, so light and crisp. We couldn't resist ordering some baklava to go, my wife thought walnut sounded good but our server said he felt the cashew was the best so we ordered that. When he brought it out, he said that there were 2 pieces of the cashew but he also added one of walnut at no charge, what a treat. We will be coming back here, the restaurant overall was super fresh and clean, service was great and the food was fantastic.

Inside is elegant and well decorated with glass tables and large rugs everywhere. Looking at the menu, it's a mix of various cuisines, but they do separate out the Persian dishes which are somewhat similar to Mediterranean ones just cost a little more and have different spices altogether. If you visit on weekend nights, you'll likely get to see belly dancing here. I settled on the chicken shawarma wrap, even though it costs a few dollars more than the chicken pita. It does come with one side for $21,and I chose French fries. It tasted pretty good, but you do have to get used to the pickles which gives the wrap an overall weird taste. These are not your typical pickles which go well with American fried chicken sandwiches. A Mexican tortilla is used as a wrap here instead of the bread they use for wraps in other Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. If I wanted a chicken burrito, i would have dined at a Mexican restaurant. The fries are previously frozen ones and lightly seasoned and really only decent when hot. Unfortunately this is one of those restaurants which takes care of newly seated guests and large parties but ignores the tables of 1. Not my fault I only have one in my party. They seated me in the corner and another gentleman came about 20 mins after me and I never saw a waitress go to his table after being served his entree either. The chef or kitchen hand is the one who brings out the entree from the kitchen here and my waitress never showed up until they try to take your plate away. However, I was still eating and also waiting for 10 mins on a refill. I can only eat so much before needing to take a sip of a liquid...but if you come with a party of one here..you will likely be waiting awhile. The lady taking my plate wasn't even my waitress either. Meanwhile, for the gentleman sitting outside alone, I observed his drink to be empty a while and they weren't refilling his either. He finally leaves and goes to a cash register to pay. What? A semi-fine dining elegant spot with mandolin playing in the background has a cash register where you have to go up to pay? What is this world coming to? With these prices, they should roll out red carpet from the front door to your table each time you walk in....and surely make the waitress do something for once and take your card and swipe it herself at the cash register which shouldn't be in the middle of the damn room. Sort of defeats the purpose of being elegant. Did I mention the glasses are plastic here too. If they want to be refined, try at least using glasses for drinks.
