I stumbled into Fame by accident once, and now it's one of my favorite spots to stop whenever I'm out with friends. There's a little something for everyone on the menu, which makes it perfect for group outings. My personal weakness? The grilled cheese and tomato soup--it's seriously comfort food perfection! I love the casual vibe here, especially for lunch. You order at the cashier, grab your seat, and just relax. It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or spending time catching up with friends. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Phoenix! read more

I ordered food and coffee to go. As I was waiting I smoked a cigarette on the public sidewalk. Guests complained and I was assaulted someone waiting to order at Fame line. I was approached by the Manger and I told him that I was waiting on my to go order... he said "please leave, we have received complaints of your cigarette smoke" He went on to say that I was not within 25 feet of the door. Truth is that I was on a public street 20 feet from the door. I asked the name of the owner, which he replied "his name is Ivan" Am I not a valuable customer because I smoke cigarettes? I feel that because I am a cigarette smoker I was profiled. Based on my experience don't give your business to Fame. Just ask me why read more

Way overpriced.. Got the mushroom burger and it had literally no flavor. Got the Bloody Mary, first sip was good but honestly just tasted like pure mix. My wife got the fame omelet which she said was pretty good. limeade was good. Honestly just pretty mediocre for their prices.. read more

Great place for breakfast and brunch. I loved ordering at the counter and then having a waiter bring us our food and drinks. The staff were helpful and quick, but the restaurant itself is very loud. I got the avocado toast with a fried egg on top, my kids got the lil pancakes and the lil French toast and everything was tasty (and the kids' portions were a good size). read more

Ive been wanting to go here for years and finally I get the chance! My friend and I ordered a stack of pancakes and chorizo chilaquiles to share. The chilaquiles was packed full of flavor and it was great to have some pancakes to even out the savory flavors. I'll definitely come back to try some other items! This was also a really cool place to have brunch as well read more

While visiting Phoenix our daughter took us to one of her favorite cafe's. You order outside, and are greeted warmly. They serve breakfast "All Day" which I love as it's my favoritist meal of the day... I ordered their egg tacos (picture included) and the arugula and salsa accompanied with beans was a very flavorable palette. The coffee is excellent having tried something new with Mexican Chocolate and Cinammon over ice. My husband ordered the Monte Christo which he said was unique due to it being made with potato bread. The atmosphere for "dine in" Yes, is fun with tables and bench seating. I noticed they have egg crates on the ceiling which I thought very clever for noise suppression. They also have some outdoor seating but we chose to eat indoors. A novelty these days during Covid. Which I must say has been a blessing in that being able to dine in has been something I have taken for granted in the past. read more

I have only ordered take out here, so I cannot comment on the dining in experience, but I do believe that the omelets here are possibly the best I've ever had. The omelets seem to be inspired by French cuisine, because they have that classically rich, custardy, buttery quality. The rosemary potatoes are also excellent and flavorful. This seems to be a great spot for comforting breakfasts. read more

We had Saturday brunch on their shady quiet patio. Husband got French toast, and I got the house omelette with chicken sausage on the side and a Bloody Mary. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu read more

Cute to place to come. Service was fast and friendly. Had a mimosa that I believe had fresh squeezed orange juice, very fresh tasting.

Though I don't love the "walk up order" method, I completely understand why restaurants do it! From placing our order to the last sip of coffee, everything was tasty! I ate the breakfast hamburger and it was delicious. I'd definitely do it again! read more

I went on Sunday to have brunch, it was super busy! I did not have time to stay. So, I returned on Monday. I ordered the breakfast hamburger. It was okay, but it had too much mayo. I also ordered an horchata latte and a banana toast. Those were simple and delicious. read more

It's crazy busy but the line moves fast, and the food is delicious! We had the croque madame, the breakfast wrap and a single pancake - all good sized portions and so yummy! I had to take the second half of my burrito to go and had it for breakfast the next day - it was even better then! read more

If you're looking for an aesthetic and trendy brunch restaurant, this is a must try place! They have the cutest outdoor and indoor dining setup and decor, plus their menu has all your brunch classics. Absolutely loved the coffee drinks like c'mon they put Starbucks to shame. This is our second time here. In the first time we ordered nutella pancakes and fame omelet. Both were amazing. This time we ordered eggs benny and Parisian omelet which were even better. I got extra avocado with my omelet. I should say that this is the best omelet I have ever had and it seems to be healthy too. Their Americano is also great. I love the ambiance both inside and outside but food is the star here. Even the bread that comes with the omelets tastes amazing! read more

I don't get the reviews unless you are voting on ambiance or as a cute meeting place with solid wood benches inside without any cushions....so uncomfortable! Food: warm coffee, my own French toast is 100% better. I didn't think the bread was good and two strawberries for over $14.00. Maybe it's healthy.. egg white omelette had no taste. We would not go back nor recommend this place. read more

One of those breakfast places where you pay before your meal arrives. Some people love it, some people hate it but I prefer it so you can leave at any time. I enjoyed the food and ambience at this restaurant. It is a cozy getaway in the heart of Uptown Phoenix. If you're there, make sure to try one of their freshly squeezed lemonades! read more

An order at the outdoor counter, sit inside or out place, this joint has great ambiance, quick service, and delicious food. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was exactly what we expected and wanted. The bacon is thick and juicy! The prices were also most excellent...would go back again and again! read more

Very quick service when I went. I like that you order in line and then get assigned a table. Stream lines everything and makes it quick! The food was decent. I had the eggs Benedict and it was fine. Nothing special but it was ok. read more

Get the breakfast sandwich! The bread was the perfect support for a delicious combination of egg, bacon, and cheese, but the highlight was the fresh tomato in that collage of goodness. I also had the rosemary tomatoes, which were well cooked and seasoned. The included hot sauce enhanced the potatoes. I rounded out the meal with their seasonal fruit. It was a perfect sweetness to cut the salt from the other dishes. Not to mention, they took it up a notch by adding chia to the fruit. I ordered my food to-go, but I waited for it at the bar. The inside had a relaxed industrial vibe, and the staff I encountered were all excellent. I hope to return next time I come into town. read more

If you want a breakfast spot with a lot of choices and large portions this is not your place. But if you want a place that selects certain dishes with particular ingredients and does them extremely well, this is your spot. We've had a good selection of dishes from here for breakfast and they've all been fantastic. Those pancakes are my favorite. Coffee is okay. You order first then sit. Inside is nice and comfortable. Depending on the time you go the line could be long and finding a seat might be difficult. But it's worth a visit if you want a good breakfast with nice ambiance. read more

i had been wanting to give this place a try and my boyfriend and i finally did. he got chilaquiles which were very good. i got the pancakes with bananas on top and a side of bacon. the bacon was an extra $5 on top of $15 pancakes... the bacon was really good but the pancakes tasted a little raw on the inside. and as for a coffees; we hated both of them. he got a cold brew with almond milk but when they brought it out to us, the girl said cold brew with honey lavender. tasted really bad and he didn't drink it. we also didn't say anything to not complicate anything... oops. my white mocha was alright. definitely not something i would recommend to anyone. we also got two waters which were nice and cold. as for the the building and staff, everyone was nice and they served us quickly. we waited like 5-10 minutes for our food. the place is on the smaller side compared to those big chain breakfast places. but no complaints on that. it was a clean environment. and theres plenty of parking as well read more

I love Fáme Caffe so much. They always make it easy to order and then sit, allowing you to watch the Phoenix traffic go by, and visit with friends or work on stuff. While it can get crazy for brunch, in the off hours, it is nice and easy. The only con to this spot is there is very limited parking (therefore the minus one star) and sometimes you have to get creative. I had a surprisingly great experience here! I say "surprisingly" because they tend to be very busy! I tried coming here once in the past & the line was out the door so we went somewhere else. This time, I decided to Uber so I wouldn't have to struggle with parking. The line was out the door, as anticipated, but it went fairly fast! It was nice they had someone assigning tables ahead of time to those of us waiting in line. Such a smart system! I've been to other places where you grab a table first come, first serve & it's just madness! The food was delicious, which I knew it would be based on their reviews. They also have some fun drinks! I tried the Muddy Waters which was tasty & unique! There was also readily available staff, periodically checking on us, getting condiments, to-go cups, etc. I can't wait to go back! read more

I was really excited to try this place due to the reviews and videos I saw online. Sadly was disappointed that the experience was sub-par. I came here with some friends on a Sunday at noon, with full expectation that we would have to wait of course. It was unfortunately hot and humid due to the "hurricane" so everyone was sweaty since you have to order outside. The line moved at a fair pace for how busy it was. We also had to wait a little after ordering in order to get a table but it wasn't bad. Howeverrrrr there is literally NO AIR CONDITIONING in this place. We were working up a sweat just sitting at the table! The food came very fast. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was small and not very flavorful- wouldn't try again. I would be willing to try again if I came on a week day where it's not as busy. read more

Cute place. The food was great. I loved the rosemary bread they served with my breakfast paired with strawberry jam - such a unique combination of flavors. What I did not like was - how noisy the place was. There must be some kind of issue with the acoustics - it felt like there were at least 20 more people sitting at the table with me and all talking at the same time. Overall good place. read more
