I have done my best to have a more than basic understanding, especially on the water balance end of things, and using the saturation index. While I am not always great at the constant upkeep on my pool and chemicals, this is something you know he excels at and it is the best system for maintaining your pool. He was also very educational and was sure to take the time to make sure I understood everything up front. He made the repairs quickly and at an affordable cost, all things considered, with just how high maintenance pools are. They would always do an amazing job when they are doing your pool themselves. When we started with them they even allowed me to use their pump at no cost to pump the water out of the pool. So generous. However over the last year or so they have, what I believe, gotten so busy that they have had to hire new people or contract out to other pool cleaners. I think this was due to the owners amazing work ethic. However as that change happened the service and cleanliness of my pool declined. Over that time I have had to maintain my pool more than when the owners were taking care of my pool. I had to fix a mold problem myself when one of their fill ins wasn't taking care of it. I have had to also get in the pool myself and clean the drain of things that should have been taken care of. Also I assume one of the randoms that cleaned the pool messed with the valves and it wasn't working very well. I got it back to perfect now and its cleaning perfectly. Maybe my lack of communication with them led to us having to part ways due to these issues and one other, but if a company hires someone to do a job the owners were doing before make sure they are trained well and can pay attention to detail. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone if the owners will be the ones cleaning your pool. However if you can't get them to do it themselves, sadly I can't recommend them unless more training for their employees can happen.

Now they are threatening me and trying to make me pay for things that weren't approved by me. These new owners have absolutely no respect and I was threatened that they would go in my back yard and remove my pool filter, which I paid for in full, because I'm not willing to pay the $125 they charged me to clean it! I was very pleased with their work; it was quick, priced fairly, and the worksite was kept super clean. We had never had a "pool guy" for maintenance/service, but I was so happy with their re-surface that I thought I would give them a try. I can't tell you how happy I am with that choice. The pool is always sparkling and I don't have to spend hours a month (and $$$) at the pool store buying chemicals. Sure does make the pool more enjoyable when it's ready for swimming at any moment!
