I didn't know know that paying for something meant you still had to do the work yourself. I have asked several times for him to sweep the bottom of the pool in which he said I'll be there tomorrow to tend to the pool and then again on the normal day. He never showed up for the extra day promised and only poured the shock into the water. Horrible service and not worth the money.

Dino was so easy and so pleasant to work with. And he communicated with us continuously throughout the whole project. When he said something was going to be done on a certain day... it was done!!  From start to finish, the work was excellent. Every crew that came to our home was professional, polite, and kept the area clean throughout the project. The entire job was run with precision, with each trade and crew arriving exactly when needed and seamlessly handing off to the next phase of work. The project was completed within the projected timeline, which was something we really appreciated, especially for a project of this size. The attention to detail and organization throughout the build made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We are extremely happy with our new pool and backyard and would highly recommend Maricopa Pools to anyone looking for a high-quality outdoor transformation. 10 STAR if we could. Everyone there is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping customers rather than just making a sale. Their service technicians are always professional and courteous. They call ahead before arriving, which gives us time to secure our dog--a small detail that we really appreciate. Over the years, we've relied on Shawn's for everything from routine pool chemicals and accessories to major maintenance, including pool drains/startup, cleaner rebuilds, filter cleans, acid wash, and even a salt cell installation. Every job has been done well and at a fair price. Whenever I've needed repairs or considered buying a new pool cleaner, Shawn has always taken the time to explain the different options, along with the pros and cons of each, so I could make an informed decision instead of feeling pressured into the most expensive choice. When we had a pool leak several years back, Shawn even put me in touch with another company that found the leak right away and began repairs immediately. It's hard to find a business that consistently provides this level of honesty, expertise, and customer service over so many years. I highly recommend Shawn's Pool Store to anyone looking for a trustworthy pool supply and service company.

I went in person to get an…read moreestimate after I had already done a "pool school session" and a tech call previously and had schedule to have my pool clean. I wanted to make sure how much it was going to actually cost me, so I made sure that they knew WHAT I HAD IN SUPPLIES including the fact that I had three bags of salt and I wanted them to be used so that I would NOT HAVE to pay their price for the salt needed for my pool. I knew I would need two additional bags but that was it. Well it DID NOT GET USED even though it was NOTED on my file. Then I also knew I needed to replace the filters and would do so at the same time as when getting my pool drained and refilled. The tech was already here, it's not like he had to do an extra trip or anything. I had called and spoken to Shawn over the phone because I received a text letting me know the filters were on sale with a 15% discount and I wanted to make sure the discount was applied to my invoice. He said that yes it was going to be applied on the final bill. Except Shawn failed to mention the FACT THAT THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME $140 additional for putting the filters in. But the worst part was when I went in person to find out why my bill was so high. Of course being the honest person that I am I HAD ALREADY PAID THE INVOICE. Because both the young guy with the beard can't remember his name and a lady with short curly hair ( also don't know her name) were very rude. Even though I was not talking to her in regards to my situation she decided to butt in and tell me that "was I thinking I was going to get things for free?" And the guy all he could say was " well I don't know what was said and what wasn't" pretty much my word against theirs. THAT'S FINE I WILL HAVE THE FINAL WORD, YOU ARE A RIP OFF. YOU JUST WANT TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK. BEING TRANSPARENT, UPFRONT AND HONEST GOES A LONG WAY. ***BE AWARE AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU ASK DETAIL QUESTIONS IF YOU DO DECIDE TO DO BUSINESS HERE ***

Of course, with Arizona summer heat, the pool quickly turned green, and we were only about a week and a half from closing. I called several pool companies and was told the pool would need to be drained, which wasn't realistic with our timeline or 100+ degree temperatures. Thankfully, I found Bottom Feeder. From my first conversation with Richard, he was incredibly helpful and immediately agreed to take on the challenge. He kept me updated throughout the entire treatment process and, within a week, had the pool looking great and ready for closing. I truly can't thank him enough. Reliable, honest service is hard to find these days, and Bottom Feeder will absolutely be my go-to pool resource for clients in the SE Valley moving forward. Overall, they are professional and prompt, and my pool always looks fantastic. I can tell because I receive weekly reports. While I should have left them a review years ago, their recent supererogatory service prompted me to do so now. On Friday, I received a call from Troy telling me that the entire water line had been shut off - both to the house and outdoors. This is a big deal with a property with a pool! I called the PM, and the assistant director of property management had no idea how to handle it. Well, something needs to be done soon because if the water runs low, my pool equipment could be jeopardized! Since I am far and since the PM is poorly run, I called back Troy asking for advice. He offered to turn off the pump for me. This entailed an extra drive over, on a weekend, to turn off the pump. When he got there, he found the pump was struggling to pull water as the water had fallen below the skimmer. If this wasn't found and corrected when it was, the pump would have gone out, which would of costed me thousands of dollars. So, thank you Troy! Your going above and beyond is greatly appreciated.
