I contacted Risi Brothers based on reviews and could not have made a better choice. The servicing of our pool has been personalized, thorough and consistent. Our service people have been appointed based on the needs of our pool and constant through a grueling remodel construction project! They would always do an amazing job when they are doing your pool themselves. When we started with them they even allowed me to use their pump at no cost to pump the water out of the pool. So generous. However over the last year or so they have, what I believe, gotten so busy that they have had to hire new people or contract out to other pool cleaners. I think this was due to the owners amazing work ethic. However as that change happened the service and cleanliness of my pool declined. Over that time I have had to maintain my pool more than when the owners were taking care of my pool. I had to fix a mold problem myself when one of their fill ins wasn't taking care of it. I have had to also get in the pool myself and clean the drain of things that should have been taken care of. Also I assume one of the randoms that cleaned the pool messed with the valves and it wasn't working very well. I got it back to perfect now and its cleaning perfectly. Maybe my lack of communication with them led to us having to part ways due to these issues and one other, but if a company hires someone to do a job the owners were doing before make sure they are trained well and can pay attention to detail. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone if the owners will be the ones cleaning your pool. However if you can't get them to do it themselves, sadly I can't recommend them unless more training for their employees can happen.

My main problem with them is that when my filter broke he acted like he didn't know what happened and then told me that I needed to hire someone else to fix it! Leaving me on my own and even more money to spend! . The next two service treatments they left lots of dirt and grid in the pool and didn't even take the time to fish out the debris in the shallow end! Very lazy in my opinion Even after I asked him to remedy the dirty leaves at the bottom of the pool since I was paying them $115 per month! So I went and head and told him that I no longer need his services. When I hired my new pool guy he was very certain that these guys broke my manifold and gasket for my filter he said it had to of been someone pushing it down really hard. So that just goes to show that they're not honest and they do not take care of their clients! Run don't walk away from these people! From now on I'm only getting word of mouth referrals from my friends and neighbors not some phone number off of a truck that I see ! Update! My pool pump had burned out and needed to be either repaired or replaced. They asked me to send a couple of pictures and answer a few questions, then provided quotes for both repair and replacement options. I also did some research on the company and found out they are licensed, bonded, and insured, which gave me peace of mind. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. In the end, we decided to replace the pool pump. Chris explained the quote and options, Robyn handled the scheduling and payment process, and Michael came out for the installation. Everyone was professional, efficient, and friendly throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them if you need any pool work done.

I reached out multiple times and was promised it would be repaired in the next few days but I am still without a pool to use. It also doesn't help that a pool cleaner has been coming out weekly just for chemicals (pump doesn't work) and they are still charging me. Please note that after the first repair, the pool was worse as the oring was left out. Since that time it has been nothing but trouble. Plenty of other pool services out there to go to and I would recommend you use them.

No notice before showing up (even though we have a people-reactive dog and told them in advance to warn us). The tech backwashed directly into our yard, ignoring the clean-out 15 feet away, then tossed in only 3 chlorine tabs. That's it. When I called, I got a lukewarm apology and was told the same level of service we used to get would now cost double. They didn't address the algae issue we already had, so I ended up doing it myself. I cancelled after one week. Then came the multiple payment demands for that single week, before the invoice was even due. Not local (based in Flagstaff), overpriced, and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

The pool tech who came out was as knowledgeable and really nice. He explained what he was doing and what he thought the issue was with our filter. He gave us some options, and even found a cheaper price on the part we needed, and went and got it to bring back to fix our filter. He came right back, got everything switched out and then showed us what to do. We got a follow up message a couple days later making sure everything was working great, which is was (and still is)!
