I had to go here…read morethis time around because a package had shipped to my old address and the only way I could re-route it was to pick it up at the UPS Customer Center. Sending it to my new address would've cost $14! The company who I ordered from covered the $6 cost to have it sent here. I was given a 4 day window to pick up my package, and unfortunately I was going out of town that week. The tracking information said I could send someone else if they had a valid ID and a tracking number, so I asked my Mom to help me out. The hours online only said 9am-12pm and she was only available to go Wednesday morning, so she woke up early (for her) and went to go get my package. Unfortunately they would not let her get my package, and it was a really bad experience for her. She felt that they were mistreating her. She has a Spanish accent and she felt that they were being prejudice against her. I wasn't there to experience it, but I know my Mom has dealt with prejudice my whole life where I have witnessed it first hand. She was able to get them to extend the pick up date till Monday, so that I would be able to get the package. I went on Monday before they closed at noon. She let me know they were also open 5-8pm, but I didn't want to risk it. I actually still had my old driver's license with my previous address, so I used that for pick up and didn't tell them I don't live there anymore. Otherwise I would've had to provide a previous bill or some proof of residency at that address. I got my package no problem, and the guy who helped me was really nice. There were two other customers there who looked upset and were having a bad experience. The other woman working did not look like she was in a good mood. I can understand that this job is stressful, and with the different communications coming from the company through corporate and the actual in-person business, it must cause a lot of issues for both employees and customers alike. I told the guy what happened to my Mom and showed him the email with the tracking information that made me think she could do the pick up. He explained that the only time someone else can pick up your package is if they live at the address on the package and have proof of residency, or in my Mom's case since she owns the property she could show proof of ownership and grab the package. He said the only time this doesn't apply is when it's a package from Apple. I took some pictures of the signage in the store that has more info along with phone numbers you can call. Overall I can't give this place an entirely good review because of my Mom's experience and the miscommunications that seem to be very common. I hope that this review helps other customers so they don't get caught in a similar situation. Their hours are also attached in my photos for reference.

I would never use them but unfortunately companies that i order from do. To them its just "file a claim" but now i got to jump through hoops to get something replaced that was never delivered by them. I even called and ask them to leave by my mailbox. But they would not. Now i dont have it. Id rather give zero stars. I wish companies would let us choose who we want to deliver. Nobody else has a problem finding me.

Though it's not anyone's fault but my own, I arrived at a time the office is closed. I understand the reasoning for the hours open/closed, and I think FedEx has similar hours at their main center near MCO, too. The jets and 18-wheelers have to come to the processing center, and it's just not a '9am-5pm' sort of process. I was only 30 minutes early to pick up my packages, so I just hung out in my car and waited. I actually appreciated the fact that a security officer approached my car and sort of questioned me as to why I was there in my car. That kind of thing makes me actually feel safer. He was a pretty nice guy and told me it was only another 15 minutes to wait. Once the customer center opened at 4pm, I entered and explained I had my packages delivered at the center as I knew I would be out of town. The service representative seemed a little puzzled, asked for my tracking numbers and fetched my packages. Service? Well, not awful, but less than friendly, except toward other customers that they seemed to know and recognize with friendly greetings. How does that make others that are not 'regulars' feel? Well, insignificant comes to mind. Actually, I felt that I was more or less a nuisance to the staff. I am in the customer service industry and there is no way I would ever make a person feel....well, invisible comes to mind, too. Even customers I see again and again over time, sure, I will recognize them with 'good to see you,' etc, but the other customers I make feel equally VALUED. Will I return? Well, I will probably have no choice, and in the meantime I hope this facility does something to help employees understand what customer SERVICE truly means.

I'm not rude and demanding, but even with those who are, I've only observed the staff going out of their way to help. I'm going to address the notary issue stated elsewhere here. Notaries are only supposed to notarize documents signed in front of them. Some will sign with good identifications. I only notarize when I make them resign when I am present. Asking someone to notarize otherwise shows a distinct lack of ethics because you jeopardize the Person's credentials. Why would you do that and then complain they were following the rules? After reviewing the stated rules of a notary, you are not supposed to notarize the signature of someone not present and it is suggested that a signature should only be notarized when signed in front of the notary. Notaries are responsible for notarizing these signatures, even if forged.

Don't ***ever*** use a service like this to send important packages. Never, never, never use Goin'…read morePostal! Not ever! They use intermediary shippers like GlobalPost and GlobalPost becomes the sender, not you, in the eyes of the USPS. So when a package is returned for lack of delivery (long story and we don't know yet whose fault it was) it doesn't go back to you, it goes to GlobalPost. From there the USPS considers it returned and will no longer assist in finding the package. GlobalPost has less than zero accountability. We are trying to get our extremely important package back. GlobalPost has it but says it will be MONTHS before we will see it again and that there is no way to expedite the return. If we had just gone to the post office there probably would not have been a problem at all. Since we went to Goin' Postal we will probably never see our irreplaceable documents again. This has been the most horrendous experience. Simply do not go to Goin' Postal, ever!!!

They were shipped (albiet very expensively) quickly and without incident. This particular shipment was personal for me so I needed reassurance that it would arrive in a timely manner and in one piece!
