A1A Beach laundromat was conveniently open on New Years Day. One of the traditions is to have no dirty clothes on this day. Thank You for being the only laundromat open on the Beaches. As I entered, I was greeted by a lady who assumed I wanted to wash all my clothing in one load. Larger washers are in the back, she said. I expressed the need to separate my whites and colors. So I read the signage and proceeded to the Double Load washers. I had to loads. $4.75 per washer. I selected Hot water for both. Wash time was 22 minutes. No problem. I waited and used the dryers. They were already hot from the previous user so I was stoked. $0.25 for 5 minute increments. I put $1.50 on each dryer. 30 minutes of drying time. When I pulled the clothes out at the stopping point, a lot of them were still damp. I added $.75 for 15 additional minutes each. After grabbing this time, they were still not dry, so I filed them and took them home to lay out in order to finish drying. The location was open. Great Was it a value for my money. Nice clean laundromat. I haven't used a laundromat in quite a while, but it seemed like the washers were a little expensive. The dryers were reasonably priced and worked great. I love that they cushioned chairs and tables outside so you can relax while you're waiting for your laundry. read more

Not the friendliest laundromat that I've gone to... I always feel like I'm bothering them asking for change. Usually the employees are deep in conversation & it's like I'm putting them out asking them to do their job. Location is clean and fairly priced, with tv, WiFi, assortment of cold drinks for $1, ATM and places to sit inside and outside. The owners are cheerful and helpful. Variety of wash and dry machine sizes. They also offer full service wash-dry-fold. This is best laundromat I've found in St. Augustine! read more

And then, some Nisan in Matt black comes BARRELING into this ATM, the guy in the car starts cursing his guts out at the machine. Ive never used a fluff-n-fold service before but so I don't have much to compare to, but I paid around $70 for 60lbs of laundry + tip. I even left a benchmade knife in my pocket by accident and they made sure it was placed at the bottom of my hamper. They were fast, communicative, and were willing to help. Would absolutely take my clothes back here and give them my business. read more

The washing machines and dryers are not the best, or the cleanest, but they are fast and the vibe here is pretty chill...and when you're spending 3 hours of your Sunday afternoon doing laundry with strangers, that counts for a lot. I can't say much for most of the staff since I usually only see the same person who works Sundays, but she is awesome and so is her taste in music--I always feel fly af folding my drahs to Badu! read more

My wife put the clothes in the washer and I wasn't there. So when I walked in I was trying to look for the machine she used. The lady asked if I was ok and I guess was watching out for people going off with other peoples clothes. But I had no such thought in my mind. Anyways she helped me start the drier. Saved me $1 because I was going to put $3 in and she said $2 is enough. It's $1/15mins. I don't know how much the washer was. Good overall experience since we were staying at a hotel and flew with frontier so we couldn't pack much. read more

Very clean and the person working was extremely helpful! We heard that their wash dry fold service was inexpensive and when we got there we discovered that blankets were $10 apiece so we ended up washing them ourselves to save with some money. read more

I love the way the laundromat being so clean and can smell my favorite soap wash my clothes. The attendant is friendly and helps inform me that my comforter to go to big load washer. One thing attendant is a smoker that go back to door to smoke quicker and came in. But overall I will come back next time. Thank you! read more

Very over priced. People think it's ok to park in front of the door in a no parking zone while they do laundry and other patrons have to walk around their vehicles while carrying their laundry. But I guess it's ok to be stupid and inconsiderate here. read more

This place was a bit of an exercise in frustration. The washers were very finicky about the coins they would accept. On the plus side, they have full time staff here who are very helpful. They have a child friendly area with TV and toys and sufficient machines, but it's quite expensive. $3.50 for a single load and $4.00 for a double. I would recommend. read more

First off, came here because we went to the beach and had laundry to do afterwards. It's OK. The washers are OLD! Too much wear and tear. The lady told me after one of my rugs (understanding that I could have washed it just by itself and may have turned out better) putting my sheets and clothes into the dryer.... after they came out STILL DIRTY!!!!!!!!! After talking with her she wasn't willing to help a customer due to the washers not working properly and told me they worked fine.... OBVIOUSLY they didnt. Sometimes machinery messes up, that's okay, but not allowing me to get a refund or paying for it to be washed again, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Will never spend my money here and will definitely go out of my way from the beaches for my laundry next time. read more

Great service. After Hurricane Matthew I had tons of laundry. Left it with them and went back later in the week to collect. Everything was clean and neatly folded. Great price too. Surprisingly inexpensive. Now that I know that they are reasonably priced I will use them in the future to do my larger loads such as comforters. read more
