Palm Coast Coin Laundry open for biz, 7a-10p
    C P.

This Laundry Coin Op biz is one of several fam-owned locations btwn here & Jax. I love entrepreneurs... and these owners have a success format to create & retain clientele. The owners selected a good mgmnt team, Miss Jenn & her daughter Kayla. They run a tight & tidy ship; the machines are sanitized daily. The owners struck gold with these two, who oversee 2-3 other staff. One load of laundry cost approx. $5-7 to wash & dry, depending on whether blankets or heavier materials are involved. If you want to drop off laundry, shirts, slacks, coats, & dresses are on hangers & clothes folded nicely, when you return... and only $15 for 12 lbs, but quilts & blankets are a separate charge. Note: OK to wash rubber-backed bath mats, but not allowed to dry bc the heated rubber ruin the dryees & the clothes of other who are nect to wash & dry afterwards. Not a lot of parking. This location is next to a vape/smoke shop that does a huge amount of biz. Masks required to enter & they enforce that requirement, thankfully.

The floors are dirty. Separate washers not marked for sneakers. Not a nice place.

The phone pretty much ignored me turned off their music waited for me to walk away and then turned it on again. Never going back there ever again.

I have been in the habit of going to Ace every few months to wash pillows and large bedding items…read morethat only fit in a large commercial washer. Started off as usual, loading items into the triple-load washers. Tried to use the credit card machine but it wouldn't work for one of the washers--could only get an error message. Unloaded that machine and used a different one. Started all the machines via the cc option. Immediately one machine began to leak water down the front and a puddle formed on the floor. I texted the service number but ofc the machine is locked on and continued to drip. I noticed then that there were water marks on the bottom portion of the front of the machine; it appears water leakage has been a problem for some time. After the laundry was done, I loaded it into three dryers. One of the dryers did not work, but it was happy to take my quarters and not return them. There is a sign posted on the wall that the owner does not want patrons to put signs on broken machines. You are just supposed to send a text. If you DO place a sign on a machine, it will be removed before the machine is repaired. That is a really despicable "policy". Owner has an ethical obligation to inform patrons if machines are not working. S.O.P. for coin-op machines. Due to the fact that 4 of the machines I attempted to use were not working properly or at all, I sent a few texts to the service number. Owner responded to the first text regarding the puddle forming on the floor, but no one ever came to clean it up. Had to laugh at the owner's responses to other reviewers who complained of losing money. Owner asks if they texted the service number; Ace will be happy to help. Yeah, right. I DID text the service number. And guess what? No response and no refund. I urge anyone who uses this Laundromat--for the sake of other patrons--*DO* POST SIGNS on broken machines if at all possible so others don't lose money, too. The only reason the owner could have for refusing to advise customers of broken machines (and refusing to refund ppl who have lost money) is that the owner gets more money by keeping the inoperable machines a secret. In a word, it's theft.
