So I decided to go to Costco when I saw Eugene Eyewear was open. Went inside and had the fortune of being serviced by MORGAN! Not only did she replace the missing screw; she tightened the other arm; cleaned the lenses and gave me a replacement case too! All for no charge! It is so nice when a business exceeds expectations and especially when they were under no obligation to do so. MORGAN is the best! Thank you

Jennifer did my initial scans and was super nice, quick, and explained everything to me very clearly. The process was easy and painless thanks to her. I went with the Nikon eye scan instead of a dilation because I had to drive after and I'm so glad I did. I waited for a bit while Dr. Phillips finished with his previous patient and looked over my scans and paperwork, then he came out and got me for my exam. He was very thorough and showed me my eye scan. I got a new prescription and he walked me out to the lobby again. Alana helped me pick frames and lenses. She picked out several options for me and I picked the one I liked the most with her support. She was very nice the whole time and took the stress out of the whole process. I put off getting new glasses for 14 years because of the stress and anxiety associated with going to the eye doctor and adjusting to new lenses and frames each time your prescription changes. The people here made the entire process so easy that I am confident I won't have any reservations about keeping up with regular exams again.

Doing so has greatly changed my life for the better. The high degree of expertise, patience and direction produced a pair of problem solving frames and lenses that other establishments including low vision experts told me would be impossible. And my new glasses look and feel great. These professionals are truly remarkable.

The entire staff was delightful except one girl at the front desk who really needs to learn to relax. She wasn't rude? But doesn't seem to know how to multitask when working on the phone and talking to customers and her coworkers. When picking out glasses the sales people were super helpful and checked up on me every so often since I was being delightful. If I do end up getting new insurance that this place takes I will definitely come back!

I used to have normal wait times for eyewear, but this place has gone completely downhill. I called…read moreto check on my prescription after waiting weeks, and the front desk woman treated me like an absolute loser just for asking. She spoke down to me like a child because she apparently couldn't be bothered to type a few keystrokes into her computer. When my contacts finally came in, I went to pick them up only to be met with a wall of excuses and lies. First, they couldn't find my glasses. Then came the ridiculous stories: claiming weekends don't count as part of the week, and then blaming my insurance company for making them and causing a delay. I've worn glasses since I was a teenager and I have never heard such garbage in my life. I actually had to walk out and go to Bi-Mart just to cool down and keep them from ruining my day. While I was gone, my wife stayed, and wouldn't you know it--they suddenly "found" my glasses. They had just filed them wrong. Mistaking a file is human, but inventing a massive web of imaginary scenarios and insurance lies instead of just being honest is unacceptable. To top it all off, when we got home, I realized they had marked both sets of my contacts as the left eye. Granted, they are trail pair, but still. I refuse to ever set foot in this office again. I would seriously rather wear a 10-year-old prescription than ever give this place another dime of my money. If you enjoy being talked down to and lied to, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away.

My first optometrist was my dad, and my second, my uncle; I have high standards for eye care…read more Dr. Crossland and her staff have absolutely attained that standard and exceeded it. I was warmly greeted (but without any phoniness), promptly checked in and seen, and carefully examined. I found a frame that I quite like, and ordered it with my Transitions lenses and progressive magnification. My share was less than $400, which is cheap these days. They told me it would take a couple of weeks. Imagine my surprise when I got a notification after only 7 days that my new glasses were ready! I stopped by the office at about 3:02, after getting off work at 2:30, only to find that on Fridays they close at 3. I would have left, too, and been mad at myself for not knowing their hours, but another patient was there to pick up her glasses and she knocked on the door. So: Good Friday afternoon, sun is shining, and Dr. Crossland's staff are about to embark on a well-deserved weekend. BUT! They agree to see us both to pick up our glasses, thereby earning that fifth star. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They are professionally adept, personally genuine, and clearly truly care for their patients. Their rates are reasonable and their service is consistently first class.

Had appointment there, got eye exam and paid for 1st lens. I hen I picked my lenses up, I let the…read moresales person know I was seeing double, they insisted that I'd get use to the new prescription. What they actually did is take away my prisms and so I was seeing double. Confirmed they shouldn't have taken away my prism when I got my eyes rechecked. So I made the decision to get a full refund, and it was under 30 days so they gave it to me right away. Which was the most beneficial part of the process. While I was waiting, another customer told me, that he had the exact same thing happen to him there, and it was outside of the 30 days and they never actually addressed his issue, told me he's stuck with the work insurance and has to use them. This made my decision to get a refund instead of going back and fourth with them confirmed. What they do well: Sales, the sales folks here will sell a snake to a snake, at your costs. Service: the eye doctor is just trying to get a bonus. The tactic: they will intentionally/dishonestly adjust your prescription incorrectly, when you call they will not answer and try to wait until you're outside of your 30 day period so they don't have to get you a refund, or actually fix anything!! Go here at your own peril, you're local boutique optometrist whoever they are, will actually do a much better job. Stay away from these bottom feeders. Also, check to make sure they are using you're insurance benefit, becuaus Ed they are not in network for many insurance companies, but will pitch you glasses at a higher rate and act as if using some discount is a greater benefit than using your actual benefits. Ask the sales people about it, I'm sure they'll be more than willing to share. Again, go at your own risk!
