I ordered glasses here last summer and I made it 2 blocks away before turning back around. The glasses made my vision worse than my prior script. I had them reassess the script and we're going to send them back to get redone. After weeks of no contact I went back and they were sitting there ready for pick up. I am confident they were never sent back out to get redone. Steer clear of this place. Poor quality of care, communication, and follow up. read more

I have purchased several pair of glasses from here in the past. Recently, I broke off the arm from the frame and bent the screw. I took my glasses in there today and after waiting only 15 minutes, they were returned to me good as new (and no charge). They aren't the cheapest place on the planet for frames but they are there when you need them the most. read more

Bought glasses and also Rx sunglasses along with an eye exam so I'm not a "one stop customer". My advice would be to keep driving and find an eyewear provider that sees you as more than $, who will work with you by standing behind what they do. I really wanted to like their service as they were conveniently located but today's stop in for some assistance confirmed my feelings that were building towards these people. I really do wish I'd be able to use them for my eyecare but I can't seem to get past their greed and attitude. As I look back over the past two years I wonder now how many of the 5 star ratings are friends of theirs doing a review favor for them. read more

I was at your place to pick up my glasses today. They were the wrong prescription. I was told I couldn't get a refund. There wasn't a manager or doctor available. The staff was unprofessional and rude. Staff are not properly trained. My reason for trying this store was a sign out front that wrongly states "same day glasses". The staff stàted "that sign is wrong" (false advertising) I was treated poorly. I contacted my attorney and he will be on contact. read more

Felt like another $$ to this Howell eye care office. I spent less than five minutes in the exam chair, rushed out and told I need progressive lens's. Almost $400 and insurance payment later my new glasses are the same strength as my previous pair. I emailed the office and asked what there return/exchange policy is and never received a response from them. I felt pressured and rushed into buying transition lenses. Returned to the office to see what could be done and was told I could not receive a refund for progressive lenses that don't work with my eyes. So I paid $400 for a pair of glasses that I cant use. read more

I completely believe that I was the victim of bait and switch with this provider. My VSP insurance covers lenses 100% for basic progressive lenses. I was sold their "Best" lenses without any explanation that they do not even offer those lenses-not because they can't but because they choose not to. VSP was fabulous in dealing with this! I highly recommend that you have all the paperwork from your insurance with you and call if necessary to speak with the insurance company BEFORE you pay these folks. read more

Went to this office as a new patient because they accepted my vision insurance. Was examined in two different rooms by staff. No one wiped off the chin or forehead rest with any cleaner. I never saw any staff wash their hands. Placed in room and gentleman came in and started talking. I had to ask him if he was the doctor. He never introduced himself. Remember, I am a new patient and had no clue who the dr. was. He proceeded with eye exam (never washed his hands or used gel in front of me.) Dilated my eyes and sent me to meet with staff to pick out glasses. The next day my eyes were itching horribly. By mid morning I stopped at store at work and bought eye drops with no relief. By mid afternoon I went to employee health to see if I had pink eye as my eyes were filming over and itched so bad I wanted to rip them out. I went home, performed eye wash and laid down for about 30 minutes. Woke up worse and had my husband take me to Urgent Care where I was diagnosed as having an allergic reaction to whatever he dilated my eyes with. One prescription sent to pharmacy, one given as a back up if the first one didn't work. I was instructed to notify the eye dr. of reaction so it could be noted in my chart. Couldn't work the next day, called eye dr. to report allergy and office staff wanted me to come in. So I drove to eye dr. While waiting a young girl and her mom were in waiting room discussing they thought she had something in her eye from swimming in a lake. She was seen then eye dr called me back. Upon entering the room, all the utensils he used on young girl were on the counter. There was also some long device over the sink. He approached me and I asked him to please wash his hands first and he stated "I just did after the last patient, but I will again." Visibly upset that I thought he hadn't washed his hands. He thought that what the Urgent Care Dr. gave me was "overkill" and he recommended an over the counter preservative free flush. His behavior was very unprofessional and I felt he was rude. No healthcare provider should ever give a patient grief for asking them to gel or wash their hands. I asked the office staff for an itemized statement for the glasses I ordered. When I went to submit it to my flexible savings account I realized it is not even mine! Patient with same first/last name, wrong city, 20 years older than I am and spouse with a different name. So much for HIPPA! I really worry about my privacy! I have now been notified my glasses are in, which I will go and get. But believe me, I will not go back to this unprofessional practice again. read more

i would give zero stars if i could. i drove all the way out there to pick up my contacts and had an appointment at 6pm and they told me the doctor left for the day and he needed to see them in my eyes so I couldn't take them. They did not tell me the doctor wouldn't be there. They did not tell me until i got there that i had to take a class for my contacts. Poor management. edit: they then told me that they found my contacts were not covered, did not bother to call me and tell me. i only found this out when i told them and said i didn't want them.
