I have been going to Dr. Clark for approximately 20 years. He performed Lasik surgery on me 18…read moreyears ago and my eyes are still 20/20. Just recently he lifted my eyelids. I was very apprehensive about having it done and waited about 4 years after Dr. Clark recommended it. I didn't think it was a necessary surgery, but I was totally wrong. My peripheral vision was compromised because of droopy eyelids. I am amazed how much I was missing, especially while driving. An added bonus, is I look a little younger. Dr. Clark is very busy, but will take time to answer your questions, but you have to ask. He explains everything very matter of fact and to the point, and will thoroughly explain the procedures. I trust him with my eyes as does my husband, and many friends and as did my mother and father-in-law. Get an early morning appointment, otherwise you may be waiting an hour.

Dr Tait was examining my eye and something hit my eye and I turned my head away. 9-1-21 Checkup - My eye doesn't better and I was told it will take 3-5 weeks to heal. 9-8-21 Checkup - No improvement. I asked Dr Tait if he thought it was because when something hit my eye. He said no. 9-15-21 no improvement. 9-22-21 Dr Tait said your eye is healed. I had some questions. We would talk about them next time. 10-13-21 Dr Tait said IT IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD I went several eye Dr and I have a macular wrinkle and there is nothing can be done about that. I was basically told this was my fault for waiting until the end of the year to schedule the appts and accused of having an "adult temper tantrum" when I started to push back on this BS. The first person who answered did not identify herself or the office, and after transferring me to scheduling, the second person also did not introduce herself. The interactions felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. I'm glad I called before making the trip, but based on this experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere.

The worst was my right eye which was 35 eye pressure and optic nerve damage. The left also had glaucoma. She referred me to Dr. Gago, specialist, and with two kinds of drops and laser treatments brought by eye pressure down to 20 and below. However, the damage was done. My eyes have been stable but I am afraid to have the necessary surgery which I can no longer put off. Hopefully she has learned from her mistakes as a Doctor but I would think twice about getting her as your doctor.

Any time you wait to resolve billing issues after 6 months, it becomes very difficult to work with insurance companies and I'm sure they knew that... so they gave themselves 1 month to figure this out. Whatever they asked for (pre-authorization from my wife's PCP) we gave them but they still had an issue because apparently they didn't get what they needed. After I called to try and resolve this matter (and their mistake on extending this timeline so long), whoever I spoke to was super rude and condescending as if I was in the wrong.. "Well did you call back to make sure we received the referral?!" No I didn't, I don't work for you. If they had an issue, don't wait 5 months before saying something. I don't recommend anyone coming here. Super expensive anyways and they have horrible customer service... any other company would admit fault and write off the (less than) $200 fees they were trying to collect. Their doctors are fine, can't really say anything bad about the care. But then if you need contacts or glasses just be ready to pay $$$$ or go elsewhere anyways.
