I've been thinking about doing LASIK eye surgery for over 3 years but couldn't get over the fear…read morefactor. I wanted to do this so bad but would get the shivers thinking about the details of the procedure. I was driving home from work one day and heard on the radio all the amazing results people have been experiencing with Dr. Yaldo and decided to go for my free consultation. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left, every interaction with a staff member was outstanding and that same level of support and care extended to Dr. Yaldo himself. He explained the process from start to finish, his experience in the field (which is outstanding, btw) and the advancements in technology in this field that enable a fast, painless, and very effective results - not to mention the fact that he owns and uses the the state-of-the-art equipment. Knowing i've been wanting to do this for so long, and feeling very comfortable with the staff and the Doctors, I decided to schedule my surgery date right there on the spot for the following week. And i'm happy to say, a week from that date i was able to throw all my unused contacts away! The. Best. Feeling. Ever. Never will I ever have to wake-up in the middle of the night to remove my sticky contacts because i accidentally fell asleep wearing them. Or be inconvenienced with having to put them on and take them off constantly. And glasses? buh-bye! unless for style/fashion off-course :)! All joking aside, this was the best decision i have ever made and so glad i chose Dr. Yaldo and team to take this journey with me. Talk about fast recovery, the day of my surgery, I went home and took a nap, woke up 5 hours later and was able to make dinner for my kids!! If you've ever thought of doing LASIK eye survey, all I have to say is, call Dr. Yaldo and go in for your free consultation. You will not regret it, plus you have nothing to lose, really you don't. You'll be dealing with and A+ team who can help answer any question you may have. I highly recommend them!!

I was required to pay upfront for a glaucoma test, despite my insurance confirming this isn't standard for in-network providers. They refused to provide an itemized bill, failing to meet transparency standards under the No Surprises Act, leaving me unable to verify charges. I'm now escalating to the Office for Civil Rights to enforce my HIPAA rights (45 CFR § 164.524). I've been coming here for years and had enough. Dr. Yaldo's dismissive attitude was unacceptable--he barely explained my test results, offering a rushed 3-minute talk and sample drops. I get it- I'm not a money maker Lasik patient. This approach prioritizes profit over patient care. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone seeking transparent, respectful care. My audience will hear about this experience.

Zero stars. In 2024, my husband had cataract surgery with Dr. Mark Siegel, and it turned into a…read morenightmare. The surgery took far longer than expected, something clearly went wrong, and yet nobody ever explained what actually happened. Afterward, my husband repeatedly complained of discomfort in his right eye, but we were told everything was "excellent." It wasn't. On Thanksgiving Eve his eye became red, painful, and tearing. In the afternoon we called the office, we spoke with multiple staff members, including doctor Donna, but instead of asking us to come in right away, we were casually told to use prednisone drops and "call on Monday." That meant waiting four long days. I now understand that we should have gone to the office immediately because every minute counted in that situation. However, we were not invited, and we did not grasp how serious it was. This cost us valuable time as the deterioration progressed rapidly over the next few hours. By evening, my husband's vision was collapsing, and we had to rush to the hospital. By then the damage was severe: at that time he had lost his vision and almost lost an eye due to an infection. The retina specialist told us that this was not a casual infection, but one that could been introduced during the operation. The office later washed their hands of responsibility, saying they were only "front eye" specialists and that "back eye" problems weren't their concern. And, of course, they are protected by lawyers and our signatures on documents. To top it off, when we requested husband's medical records, the office delayed for weeks. When they finally sent them, his file contained another patient's private medical information. I understand that mistake happens. However, this practice has shown a shocking lack of professionalism. They don't really care. I strongly urge others to think twice before putting their vision in these hands.

Treated like a number; Waste of my time and money…read more SUMMARY Informed Lake Lazer (3) separate times prior and during my appointment of a long-standing issue with my left eye; Was given an exam and glasses that immediately gave me a migraine behind my left eye; Got a second opinion and found that the prescription was grossly wrong, and somehow had both mis-diagnosed my left eye AND ignored my telling them; Asked for a refund and was shown the NO REFUND POLICY that I had signed. Only bright side is that I was only getting glasses, and not LASIK! (I tried to give the full story, but was limited on characters, so....) Here are some of my takeaways from Lake Lazer of Milford: - The entire experience made me feel like I was cattle being pushed through. The morning of the appointment, I had been asked to come in early, as they were ahead of schedule, but then after the exam, waited for over half an hour for the ophthalmologist, with an assistant apologizing three times, finally confiding, "I don't know what's taking so long." After he did see me, honestly, I could not pick his face out of a six-person lineup, as his back was to me the entirety of his 3-5 minutes in my presence. Unfortunately, it is like many physician practices lately, where it is purely about the number of patients that can be seen in a day, and not by the quality of care provided. This is evidenced by the fact that I indicated to their staff (and him explicitly), THREE separate times that my left eye has a long standing issue, and NOBODY happened to notice that they put my left and right eye as being identical. - They view THEIR time as being more valuable than YOUR time. When I first asked for a refund, the office manager told me, "I wish you would have spoken to me earlier... I *often* have to tell patients that the initial eye exam might be off and that they need to re-test." (WTAF?) I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So, I googled, "How accurate are eye exams?" and google's response was "Eye exams are extremely accurate, if performed by properly trained staff, and with adequate time so as not to be rushed." By the matter-of-fact way that they OFTEN have to have patients re-test, indicates that they do not adequately train their assistants, nor do they care about YOUR time, because if they get it wrong, well, YOU just come back in and expend another hour of your life. They're at work anyways, what does it matter to them? Personally, I am a small business owner, and when people waste MY time, especially with no sign of remorse, it irritates me to no end. - They are more focused on the $$$ than the individual This is pretty obvious to me, because everything that has been said in this review, has been said to the office manager, and in rational, logical, non-emotional ways. I paid for an exam that was faulty, and glasses that were faulty. I got a second opinion, and proper care, from another source. I don't see why I need to be monetarily penalized for their incompetence. If I find that MY company has failed to provide adequate service, then MY company is going to give a refund. It seems like that is common logic. Why this is not the case for Lake Lazer can only be speculated. Learn from my mistakes. Instead, go see an optometrist that talks to you face-to-face and whose sole focus is 20/20 vision.
