Rana provided a through eye exam, and I was sent to the other side of the space for my prescription eye glasses.

They will put on a friendly face for customers and tend to your every need and turn around and treat their employees with not even the bare minimum kindness. I had to report my manager, Antoinette Hamilton, for gender and disability discrimination, as well as bullying and harassment claims on three different occasions, only over the course of about a month. She ridiculed me for taking one day off for my disability (both to my face and to other employees at other EssilorLuxottica stores in the mall), she denied me access to accommodations (would not provide HR's contact info and when I asked for a stool to sit on as part of a disability accommodation, she made me sit on a folding stepladder and still did not contact HR despite the employee handbook saying to do so for accommodation requests) , she repeatedly chewed me out for not knowing how to do the job when she was the one who was supposed to have been training me, she never used my correct pronouns despite the fact that she told me the business was open and accepting during my interview, and during my final shift, she attempted to tell me that it was me who had been incredibly rude to her the entire time I worked there and that she was "just the way that she was". Despite my multiple attempts to report her to HR at the parent company of EssilorLuxottica with both photographic and written evidence of all these events, no action was ever taken and in fact, I received an email from the same senior HR manager, Rosanna Devellis, whom I'd been in contact with the whole time, on 5/8/25, a whole four weeks after I quit my job, telling me that they were reaching back out to me to tell me that the matter was considered closed, but that they would also be disclosing no details whatsoever because it was a company matter and as such was confidential. Despite it being my case that I provided all the information for. So, all that to say, if you are okay shopping at a company that treats their employees like absolute garbage, then be my guest. But you should at least know what you're getting into.

I'm pretty turned off from chain Optometrists now after dealing with this one. Specifically Mr…read more Ebraheem. I feel like they rush your eye measurements, and then pressure you into picking "the one that looks best" after you're clearly struggling to see either options. Just trying to get to the next patient. Then when I had to do a reexamination after my new power was just awful, they wanted to charge me for trying to see another doctor instead of the same one. I explained why I would rather have someone else, but it "would not count as a reexamination." So I went with him.. they called me several times trying to "remind" me to come in early. I figured I was the last patient and they probably wanted me to get there early so they could wrap things up.. which already made me feel this would be rushed. Again. (They want you to come in 15 mins early, no matter what, but the the amount of "confirmation" calls I got, emphasizing it, was surprising). I arrived early and there I overheard the doctor checking to see if the last patient, me, arrived (this was 20 mins before my scheduled appointment). So my feelings were correct. Finally, the doctor saw me and when I explained he immediately became defensive, and basically blamed me for the wrong power. After I explained that my old (2 glasses ago) glasses are clearer than the power he gave, he left the room with my old glasses, came back and said "okay I have your new power." I asked what did he do, he said he's using my old glasses as the power because "if it works for you why bother change it?" No rechecking or retesting. Just giving up, giving me my old power and quickly rushing to leave. I'll just have to deal with it for now. But I will not be returning to MyEyeDr again, anywhere. I need to find a proper optometrist next time. If you need simple vision corrections, maybe this will work for you. But if you need someone who will spend time with you, to make sure you get as close to correct as possible, these guys are not the place to go to.

I took them back to MyEyeDr 3/27/26 and the lady at the desk took the glasses to the back room. Came back and said she didn't have the right screws. Then she said since we didn't buy the insurance plan that there was nothing she could do for us. Then she asked if we wanted to purchase another pair for 40% off. Of course NOT. What terrible customer service. There glasses are more expensive than most places. The least they could do is stand by their product. I told her that I didn't not want to purchase anymore glasses and that they lost my business permanently. She didn't care at all! Not worth spending the extra money here, they don't stand by their products.

The antique mall is the perfect all-day adventure. Coffee shops, sweet treats, dive bars, winery, fencing studios, outdoor adventure park, cosmetic enhancement suites, $5 thrift shops, salon suites, tattoo shops, a huge antique shop and more make this mall a delicacy. There's something for everyone and you can truly spend the entire day here. Some of my favorite shops include More Than Java, Skinsational Scents and Boyd Cru Wines. The mall hosts events often. Check out their website for more details. Parking: there's TWO parking lots. Little Lot and Big Lot. You make a left as you exit Little Lot and go all the way the street to the end. I have to say, the local businesses here have really impressed me each time I come! I have tried Boyd Cru Wines (delicious!!), More Than Java Cafe (pls get the jerk chicken omelette!), and have peered through Cherie Bridal (looking for a dress soon!). Every experience I have had here has been warm and welcoming. There's a large selection of stores, and they also seem to host a market here on weekends with some more local vendors! For the holidays, they have a cute Christmas setup and a meet Santa station. I also feel everything I've bought here has been fairly priced. I just got some Christmas presents for my mom, including locally made pottery for less than I usually see on Etsy. The food options here are great, and it's a cozy spot for families and couples! Every time I come, I tell myself I'm going to come back more frequently. Just visit. You'll find something you like!

I had gotten my eyes checked elsewhere, but I had yet to find glasses and I didn't like the styles they offered at the optometrist. When I got inside, I noticed that there was hand sanitizer right up front and all the employees had gloves on as well. They did let me know right away that I was able to try on glasses and that the ones that I didn't like went into a sanitizing tray on each table so they can be properly sanitized before being placed back on the wall. I definitely liked the measures they took with ensuring everyone's safety amidst the pandemic! I ended up finding a pair of translucent glasses that I liked. They were priced for $95, so I was anticipating adding tax on and whatnot when I purchased them. But no! They were actually $95, including adding my prescription onto them! I opted to add the blue light protector (since I work in an office & spend 8 hours a day staring at a computer screen) and it was $50 more. I received my glasses in about 5 days later, and I went back for an adjustment (since the frames I got were a bit tight on my temples) and I ended up buying another pair, haha! Thank you, Warby Parker! I definitely enjoy my new glasses!
