    If you come to this location, you need to ask for Joy! She gave me a personalized and friendly experience. She was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. She helped me make great decisions on the best and top name brand eyeglasses and sunglasses. They have a great selection on designer eyewear such as Michael Kors, Coach, Versace, etc.

    1st week got the glasses. Since you did not buy their protection plan. You will need to buy another one.

    We been going to this location for glasses for whole family for years. But now not sure if the management is changed or something. It is worse ever. Just for one glass we have to make several trips in order to fix it from a new order. No. 1 All managers in this location is not very professional in customer service. They did not have good training how to handle with problem and solution. Their front desk is better than them. At least they willing to help. Not criticizing. No 2. Their product is way to expensive than the quality. even with insurance a no name frame plus glasses will cost you about $300. Feel like you pay out of pocket. Over price in order to get both insurance and client pay. Suggestion: you may want to go with their eye exam. But never ever get their glasses. They are so cheap and want you to buy their insurance with my eye dr. (Maybe they got KIP for selling their protection plan) so the quality of the glasses will not be good. Then their protection will seem very useful. By the way, their manager will not wear name tag or give your name when you ask. Maybe it is her last date. So she treat clients like "I donot care".

    Located inside of a busy shopping center so choose the time you come carefully. I have been coming here for a couple of years now. I recently started wearing glasses so I chose this location based on what's covered by my insurance and what was close to my house. This location was the one that fit my criteria the best. That have been retry good so far. They have several eye doctors that work out of this location. I have had no issues getting appointments. I like to pick the early morning time slots. They open daily at 9:00 am. Many of the other businesses aren't busy around that time so there is always plenty of parking close. I have made the mistake of coming during the lunch hours between 11:00 and 1:00 and the parking lot is a mad house. The few times I have been here I haven't had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. I don't have anything to compare them to, but they always have a very large selection of frames to choose from. After I ordered my glasses, they came back within a week or so. When I stopped in to pick them up the staff ensure that they fit properly and were the correct prescription strength. They provided a eyeglass case, cleaning cloth, and cleaning spray. Overall, I am very satisfied with the level of service I received. I will continue to come back here for all of my high health needs.

    Every step of my experience here was nothing less than stellar. I easily scheduled an appointment online and was able to be seen relatively soon. On the day of my appointment, I was warmly and promptly greeted. The office is clean and organized. Everyone was wearing masks. I was immediately seen and never kept waiting. Dr. Alvarez did my exam for eyeglasses and contacts. She was friendly and took her time explaining everything related to my issues concerning my vision. After the exam, Allie helped me choose my new glasses. She went above and beyond in helping me find the right frames. She even popped the lenses out of some pairs of sunglasses that could be crafted into eyeglasses. She was incredibly patient with me. I was very particular about what I was looking for and she took her time with me not just in choosing eyeglasses, but also in reviewing all of the pricing and offers available. They price match on contact lenses. I got the Costco price even though I don't have a Costco membership! They also accept Care Credit which was very helpful since I don't have vision insurance. I was told my eyeglasses would be ready in three weeks and they were ready on time. When I went to pick them up on 07/16, the two young ladies at the front desk were really friendly and helpful in letting me try them on and making sure they fit just right. They gave me some eyeglass cleaner and I was on my way. I couldn't be more pleased with this experience. I am so grateful that I have found MyEyeDr in Columbia!

    Do not make an appointment here!!! The customer service is horrible the staff is very uneducated on their own policies and procedures. They do not take accountability. Very unprofessional for the Columbia area. Very disappointed 0/10 I do not recommend until the staff takes customer service classes.

    Rona protocols done right! Upon check in sanitizer spray, temperature reading and new mask provided. Cleaning supplies out after every customer the chairs and tables are wiped / sprayed. Glasses cleaned before tried on. This place smells clean! Doctor Alvarez was very knowledgeable and patient. Very thorough review. I highly recommend her for children exams.

    I made an appointment and filled out the paper for my insurance before arriving including uploading…read moremy insurance card. Two front desk employees acknowledged that they received my vision insurance card. Rather than tell me before I arrived or even after I arrived, I was told after waiting to be seen by the Dr that they didn't take my insurance. I could have been notified before I took an hour off work and driving time that my insurance wasn't accepted. I asked why my paperwork wasn't reviewed when received and was told that they do review it. I don't have any time off to waste like this and finally got upset enough to write this review. They should have reviewed my paperwork before I arrived so I could cancel the appointment. It did seem, based on statements made, that I could pay 100% out of pocket. Why in the world would I do this if I have good vision insurance? Just be honest and let me know as soon as possible that they don't take my insurance.

She is great with explaining things (if you are the kind of patient who wants to know the details !). And she took the time to understand the needs of my "middle-aged" eyes with a complicated prescription. I started with a pair of computer glasses, and intend to go back for a pair of driving glasses. From Susanna, who fitted my new glasses, to the young lady behind the reception desk, all were professional, welcoming, and helpful.

    1 hour before my appointment I received a text stating that the appointment was moved up to 10…read moreminutes earlier than the original appointment. When I called to let them know we were running a little late. They said that it was "too late" and the doctor needed to take their break. They also informed me that my entire appointment was taken "off of the books" days ago because I didn't "confirm" with earlier texts. If I was taken off the"off the books" why would I get that text message an hour before my original appointment telling me it was moved up 10 minutes?! The one star is kind considering there was no service at all to rate and the phone conversations were unprofessional, defensive and frankly rude. The good news is...the doctor did get their break and THAT is apparently what matters most.

    Dr. Ma is amazing. She is thoughtful and will give you a good evaluation. She also speaks to…read morepatients with respect and integrity. The general manager however (along with other staff members) didn't offer honest or healthy engagement. The girl who was to assist me in getting glasses did not know what she was doing. She couldn't offer a real price on a 90.00 pair of glasses with what I would need. She said they would be like 800.00. She wouldn't tell me her name and talked defensively and in circles. It was wild and weird. I called to get information on my rx. The general manager (name starts with a "C") refused to provide it because I wasn't purchasing glasses from them. In fairness, there is at least one guy who does well with people. I found the rest of the "team" unprofessional, unpleasant, and completely disengaged from the process. I don't understand why any of them are in any aspect of healthcare given that they don't actually care.
