Do not take your car for inspection, they will rip you off. Will make you fail to get the business from you.

This gas station was recently renovated and now has those fancy tvs that talk to you and tell you about sports, weather, top headlines and what not. I remember recently I was talking to someone about how gas stations are going and they were like "I hate those TV's in gas stations" and I was like "I LOVE those TV's gas stations." Pumping gas might just be the most boring task in America. I wish the gas pumps were like 20 times faster. Maybe someone should make a gas pump where all the gas is stored above, and then when you're pumping it, it just flows into your car from like a giant funnel thing. Or.... just get a faster pump. I feel like technology has advanced alot... outside of gas pumps. Ask yourself this... how is the gas pump different then 70 years ago.... answer It has a TV now. And that JUST happened. Anyways, the gas station got a total reno and looks real clean and nice now. Lighting is better there too. This place is usually pretty bumpin' and decent prices compared to the stations around it. read more

do not send your vehicle to this station for a state inspection cos they are definitely going to rip you off by finding irrelevant faults just to make the vehicle fail so they can quote you for parts and labor to make extra $$. they will convince you to get the repair works done in their shop. trust me ! no parts are replaced . they will play around your vehicle and after sometime they tell you it passed . they are scammers read more

Do not take your vehicle here for a State Inspection. They scheduled an appointment but then when I got there they said they never had an appointment and were closed. Initially took my vehicle here for a State Inspection. It failed and I came back after getting the work done. I made a second appointment for a re-inspection. When I got there they were closed and no one had the common courtesy to call me. The attendant/receptionist at the shop was also short and rude. read more

Was in a rush to get to an appointment on 355 & i know that Exxon pumps spits gas out fast. Plus the pumps are new and have little TVs on the pumps that shows you scores & high lights. Exxon is the number one quality gas station businesses read more

We had a very bad experience with this Service Center. Our truck was towed there and they replaced the battery. I asked specifically if the alternator also needed to be changed. The answer was no. Within 48 hours my truck stopped again and was towed back. The alternator (as I had suspected) was bad. So again 2 more days without a vehicle. I asked while the car was there to replace the windshield sprayer pump as well. When I got my invoice they had charged me for the 2nd towing bill!!! When I inquired about this the Owner (Lennie) was unbelievably rude and inconsiderate. Basically said "such is life". All of this happened a few months ago. I decided to write this review today because when I took my truck in for service my new shop told me the windshield spray pump was bad!!! They installed a used item? That had gone bad already. I would go straight to the owner and ask for my money back. But he was so intimidating that instead I will tell you all that if I were you I would NOT take my car here for service. read more

From a gas perspective it's fine. It has a nice looking service station but I have meet used those facilities. It is not a full service Exxon mart though - just sodas and chips. Cheaper gas down 355 at W express. Sodas are reasonably priced. read more

Just $70 for a MD state inspection $10 off from the usual price. The guys there are nice and proficient! I waited for my inspection and they even offered me a cup of free coffee, which I did not expect at all in this small shop! Overall best experience of car service in those small shop! read more

I have brought all my vehicles to them for many years now. This place was recommended to me by friends who raved about them. They said they even baked Tom and Lenny cookies. I have found two great service groups in all my experiences, and these guys and my (soon to be retiring) HVAC guy are the BEST!!! I have seen them make a mistake on the bill where they charged me twice for a part.. They caught it and took it off. That is just one thing. Most places would not have fixed that. They turn my cars around in a timely fashion and I rarely have to bring the cars back because they solve it right the first time. Love these guys. They are more than consistent. read more

I don't write many reviews, but after seeing the negative review of this station, I felt I needed to share my thoughts. I have been taking my vehicle to Gaithersburg Exxon for several years now. They are the only people I will let work on my car! I've never had anything but professional, courteous service at a reasonable price. They always call with a price before doing repair work so I know exactly what I'm having done and there are no surprises later. The company I work for uses Gaithersburg Exxon for all our vehicle repair and maintenance; I guarantee my boss wouldn't use a service station that wasn't top-notch! read more

I have been using Gaithersburg Exxon for my cars for 33 years. They have proven to reliable and completely honest - I have never seen them "make work". I know a fair amount about cars and, looking through the door to the repair area, II can see they, in fact, do careful work. In one case, there was a problem with a repair that they made (the part that they installed had a problem with it!) and they made good on it. They do charge the "going rate" and their waiting room is small. read more

The service here is pretty terrible to say the least. I came in to do the usual MD state inspection and it's literally been an hr and a half and I'm still sitting here waiting for my car to be released for whatever it is their doing back there. It's been 20 minutes since I asked and they said they were "finishing up". Will definitely never be returning here for either an inspection or for gas. read more

I recently had to have a state safety inspection to transfer my car from FL to MD. The local Toyota dealership wanted $168. AAA wanted $98. These folks did it for $66 and within one hour after I arrived. They were courteous and professional. It's true that Toyota and AAA will give you a free cup of coffee but it turns out to be a very expensive "free" cup of coffee. I will definitely return and use these guys for my other vehicle maintenance needs. read more

I decided to write a review after I had a terrible experienced there, I tiik my car for MD inspection on june 29, my car did not pass the inspection (they told me to remove the tints of my car) so the said that after I do that to go back, I did and went back several days to the place a total of 5 times in differents days and hours, they said the owner was not there, them that he left erlier, another they in the morning that he did not arrived yet and they excused saying that he is the owner and does not have a schedule to work and that he is the only one that is authorized to sign the inspection, so finaly the 6th time that I went another employee signed the inspection (so he was not the only one doing this). So I received poor service and they made me waste my time. read more
