My card is active and good; the guy behind me paid cash (I had none) and the two cars in the lane closest to the station used their cards and went on their merry way. No one from the station came out and it was raining , so I didn't want to take any more time and get wet to try to walk over to get any help when all pumps should be working. If not, signs should be displayed. Very disappointing and since I often start on the road earlier than 9, I don't have he time to mess with staff to keep their pumps operational for all. And I was pumping the gas and chatting with him and for some reason I just stopped pumping at like 9.20 cents and threw the nozzle back on the thingamagig. And he was like... "oh you're so rich now all of a sudden that you want to just give some gas back to the gas station." I've never ever done that up to that point, and I've never done that again. Ususally I'm like trying to shake the nozzle and get every last drop of gas. It's much funnier in my head.
