I love Sheetz. It's a tradition in my fam, whenever we take long trips. We would grab our Sammy's and our snacks to hold us down til we get to point b. Now that's here. I was geeked. The gas here is cheaper among the main gas stations. It's very spacious and clean. The store is clean. However, the cafe is very slow. I understand they have orders to fill. They do Uber eats, drive-thru, and in store order orders. Employees there are nice and friendly. So you order thru the kiosk, same way as you would like at Royal Farms. Then you would pay at the register, and then you get your number. Tbh, they are expensive. 2pc sliders was like $6. Was it good, not for the price. It reminded me of school lunch Cafe burger. Unless there is a special on food, I don't see myself ever eating here. I'll get the gas I'll stick to Frederick or Breezewood Sheetz. read more

Y'all have no idea how excited I was for Sheetz to be getting closer to where I now live. Before we know it, they will be close enough I won't have to make a half hour car ride to fill that yearning for some MTO. When this location opened it was all over my social media, most likely because of geofencing or targeted ads. However, they didn't have to do much for me to end up making my way here. I had to run errands that day and I figured that I would give this area a stop as I hadn't been here much before. Since I was going to be out for errands, I was definitely going to give this a stop. I ended up stopping twice in a day, but not really on purpose. My first stop was on my way into the area. It was early in the day and I hadn't had anything to eat or drink. I didn't want to get anything heavy so I ended up grabbing a snack from the shelf and got myself a sweet tea. With this being a new store it feels a bit spacious and bright inside. It is easy to navigate the store and set up in a way that it flows much easier. The outside of the lot is quite big as well. Island of pumps, ample parking on all sides of the building. With the first stop done I went on about my day. After I put my errands to rest, I backtracked to head home. This time back, I noticed I needed fuel and used the pumps. After I was done with the pumps I ended up heading inside to order myself dinner for the night. They were as quick as they could be with how busy they were. After reading the criticizing reviews of this place during the month after their grand opening, it is good to see that they have overcome their growing pains. And if you're angry that you're grilled cheese wasn't made fast enough, maybe you should have went home and made one or your own. read more

This may come as a surprise to you, because as you know, I'm so insanely high class, but I'm a pretty big fan of Sheetz. I know... you probably would ONLY be expecting me to top off at the Exxon in Potomac Village. Or maybe even the Sunoco in Georgetown. So, I'll need you to suspend your disbelief as I admit something that will cause you to drop everything you're doing and sit perplexed and pensieve for a while. Side note: I googled closest gas stations to the White House, cause I thought that might be a good way to mention an overly fancy gas station, and I'm now very likely being tracked by the NSA. So if I disappear all of a sudden, someone please tell them it was due to an overly satirical Yelp review. But yeah, big fan of Sheetz. I came on their grand opening yesterday because they were selling gas for $2.99 a gallon, and I literally drove my car 20 miles past the gas light waiting for this day #HighClass. But yeah, everytime I drive down to Southwestern VA to go volunteer at the Boy Scout Camps I used to work at, I inevitably stop at a Sheetz. Why a Sheetz? They always have bathrooms. They always are pretty clean. And they have a wide drink selection and usually some little fresh fruit/protein packs which I like to buy. So, I will have to agree with Tammy a bit. When you're offering $2.99 gas for a grand opening... and you expect there to be somewhat insane crowds... it would have been quite nice to have a bit more order to the chaos. That said, I was able to get in and out in about 10-12 minutes, and that would have been quite quicker if the person I was waiting to leave from the pump didn't take an improptu interview from My MC Media JUST as she was finishing pumping gas. Le Sigh. I wish I could have gone into the store to check it out, but all of the parking spots outside of the pumps were filled with people who were lining up, I believe trying to win a free year of gas from the radio station that was there. So I didn't go into their store, but I'm quite familiar with the Sheetz layout and I'm sure I'll be able to update this review sometime in the future to regale you with stories of their beautiful lighting schemes or aesthetic sub signage. All in all, a big fan of Sheetz, and I'm surprised that Moco is just getting it's first outpost of the gas station/carry-out/convenience store/hybrid. Side Note 2: I stopped at the Royal Farms recently (somewhat similar to Sheetz but with fried chicken) which just opened maybe less than a year ago less than a mile away... and the coffee area looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the grand opening. I kid you not... it was SO dirty when I went that it looked like the store aged 15 years in the span of 10 months. Nevertheless, I'll probably be opting for the Sheetz if I'm in the area. Really well managed store. Clean for the most part and throughout the day. I mainly get coffee from here, there coffee machines are operational most times with a few occasions where some of them act up. Ordering through the app, 90-95% of the time the order received is correct. Most of the staff members are polite and helpful. Agree with one of the other yelper's comment about custom drinks taking a long time. Usually this station is not staffed properly so I have avoided ordering espresso or frozen beverages due to long wait times. I wish they had more healthy protein based snack options that are ready made since some days I'm in a rush and can't wait for the order to be made; also wish they had a car wash. This store is a much better customer experience than royal farms a few blocks away. read more

These people don't know how to work a drive thru window. I ordered for "drive thru" on the app and I was literally stuck in the drive thru for 15 minutes because no one wanted to check the window. All I could see was two guys inside with AirPods in just dealing with the inside orders and walking around. It's like they forgot there was even a drive thru window attached to the place. When I finally flagged someone down my order was already sitting at the window. All that time I wasted could have literally been saved if 1 out of the 6 people working would have OPENED THE WINDOW. All the guy said was "I'm sorry" and on top of that they forgot to put the sauce in my bag. Drive Thru's are made for speed and connivance and this was literally the opposite. By far the busiest Sheetz I've ever been to; every time I come here there's at least 8 orders in the kitchen. They've pretty much been slammed since they opened, and it makes sense since it's the only Sheetz in the area for now. Although it's understandable, it kind of defeats the point of fast food if it's not fast. Most of the workers try their best, but during peak hours, the wait can be pretty long if they're understaffed. If you know how to time it right, you can mobile order to avoid the wait. read more

They're finally here! I love this place it's a great place for your one stop shop. The staff is friendly, professional and still manages to keep a smile through the constant flow of customers. Ever since they opened in August, it has been extremely busy but because of the great perks and prices on gas, I don't mind the wait. Let me first say before I leave my comment that I am a well endowed Sheets lover. I go to Sheets nearly every day and I've been going to Sheetz ever since I went to college and first acknowledged Sheets in Shepherdstown West Virginia. I used to drive all the way out to Frederick Maryland and as far as Sterling Virginia just to get Sheets so I am a huge lover. When they created this location in Gaithersburg, I was appalled because I am a Sheetz lover. I currently live in Gaithersburg Maryland and let me just say this location that was just started has some of the worst staff that I have ever witnessed in any of the Sheetz locations. The staff members are totally unprofessional they literally make you feel uncomfortable immediately upon arriving to the store every time I have given it a chance but I need to make this a clear statement so that hopefully Sheets will recognize this and make changes. I went in this morning to get breakfast, and this was probably one of the worst situations that I had occurred. Immediately upon arriving in the store, I felt as if I had 1 million eyes rolling over me trying to figure out exactly what I was going to order before I even walked up to the screen, when I went over to the staff members after this, they all managed to walk away and act like they had no idea what I was talking about except for one individual when I asked this individual about a specific question. She did not have a Straight forward answer nor did she know the exact answer to the question. This was after I had explained to her what my question was and how my specific meal was made at another location, and she had told me that she did not know if that was the same case at that location. The staff was not helpful, nor did they pay attention to a customer walked into the store with a specific question yet they had all eyes on each individual coming in to order food, almost as if they were trying to act like they were security or they were just trying to push customers out of the store so that they can make the job easier. This is a problem you do not need associates in your store managing the consumers coming in trying to order food to make their job easier by pushing customers out of the store or making people feel uncomfortable so they can stand around and collect a check for hours. I will not go to this location for a while because I am very upset and if you would like I can personally give you my information and show that I shop at sheets and spend nearly $20-$30 a day on Sheetz. read more
