It needed some TLC and they did just that. Outside left a little more to be desire. The body was sparkly and cleaned, but the wheels definitely were not. The wheels didn't look cleaned at all. (Hence the star removal.) I think price is a little bit high, but I would reconsider them again when I need an annual reset. I was not given the first-time discount, but they said I should call and have that applied next time. So I recommend you call for your first-time to get that first discount.

I attended the grand opening of the newest Wawa to the Chantilly/South Riding VA area! It was such…read morea great vibe. Starting early, I arrived about 7:30am to join the small line already formed in front of the store. The first 100 customers were guaranteed to receive a free Wawa t-shirt. The staff offered music, free hot chocolate (it was a little chilly but not too bad), and branded noise clappers. Special guest and dance partner, Wally, made an appearance to help warm the crowd up. Staff, community leaders, LCSO and Fire-Rescue joined in to help make this event successful. At 8:00am, Wawa leaders thanked the crowd for coming out before the official countdown, opening the doors to the newest Wawa in the area. Fully stocked and ready for the hundreds of free coffee offered. For the opening week, Wawa offered free hot coffee and discounted snacks and drinks. Of course the store was clean and in its best condition. Staff was full of smiles and greeted each customer individually. I opted for free coffee and a slushie (which was only $1.05 for the grand opening). At 8:30, community leaders welcomed the staff and customers by saying a few words. To close out the ceremony, the Sheriff's Office and Fire-Rescue teams had a friendly hoagie battle. Each team had to create hoagies, and who ever created the most at the end of two-minutes, won! Fire-Rescue won, departing with a huge trophy. Both teams took their hoagies back to work (which was awesome). If you are looking for a Wawa closer than Air and Space or Oakgrove, this is the location for you. It's a smaller footprint, but they offer all the goodies Wawa is famous for.

Back at the Honda service center in Richfield, MN we could pull up to the garage doors and someone would greet and check you in but this place seemed smaller so it's understandable that that option wasn't available. I brought a copy of some of the extended warranties I purchased at the MN Honda dealer before moving to MD. Initially I wasn't sure if they would still be honored but happy that the associate at the counter was happy to scan them and add it to my file. After dropping off my car they did the promised A1 services before the end of the day and called me when it was ready. I asked about some cosmetic dings on my bumper and they didn't try to unnecessarily up-sell any services. Overall pretty pleased! Also a big fan of the online scheduling system. It was easy to book and modify the appointment beforehand.

Thankfully they took my car in while I had breakfast at a walkable distance McDonalds. (Their fritter is really good.) They said it would take an hour, but when I came back 50 minutes later it was ready to go! Wil gave me the good news, but said I should consider having my rear brakes replaced soon. No pressure to sell me on making an appointment, but because Wil was such a cordial guy, I just may come back here. We had a nice conversation, and I found out he's a former educator. My inspection was just $85, and the first step I needed to complete in registering my out of state car in Maryland.
