I only put up with this place out of "convenience" bc it always reeks of body odor and the staff is so slow. I'm transferring all of my prescriptions to Walgreens! read more

I was in there today trying to get a prescription filled (one that a Doctor continually messed up on) and the pharmacist, Melanie, was able to fll it with no problem. I have been going to this location for many years and have rarely have had an issue. Brandon and Cathy are also terrific as is Mustafa. In fact, I really not had an issue with any of the staff here. I saw the reviews a couple years ago, and I was not looking forward to switching pharmacies. I see that they are often busy, but I couldn't be happier with this CVS. All the employees here are extremely kind and helpful, mores than any other pharmacy I've been to. I move often. I got my flu shot here last year and that was incredibly convenient. I'm a little confused by all the phone complaints on yelp. I got through to Nour in the pharmacy after about a 5 minute hold time. Maybe don't call during peak hours? And they fill prescriptions very quickly too. I try not to go much of anywhere during Covid, but they aren't too crowded these days. People often leave reviews when they want to complain, but shouldn't everyone hear both sides? I'm so pleased this CVS is 2 minutes from my house! read more

Yesterday got in the drive through prescription window, about 7;30. I was the last person in line. After waiting 30 minutes as soon as I pulled up when it was my turn the person at the window closed it basically in my face. Close at 8:00. It was 8:01. They could not fill one last one? Wow. So I went inside naively thinking maybe they would accommodate me but no. Not very good customer service. I understand you want to go home ...but really!? Not cool at all. read more

All too often these days, we are quick to criticize, while not recognizing truly exceptional service. My wife and I have lived in Ashburn for a little over 5 years and CVS at Farmwell Hunt has since day one been our Pharmacy. I cannot even begin to express the gratitude for all of the employees here! Wow this is the most frustrating pharmacy ever. It is so unfortunate they closed the pharmacy on eastern kingbird. They are so unorganized and do not have anything ever ready on time. It always seems they are overworked and flustered. I have moved any required meds to Walgreens on Susan Leslie and am so happy I did so. read more

I have used this pharmacy for years and have seen longer and longer wait times. There are times when you walk in a prescription and wait and your name is never called. After a long wait you have to initiate a conversation with a CVS worker on whether the prescription has been filled or not. I switched doctors over a year ago and when I called to get a refill they called the wrong doctor! I have also been filling a medicine for years at the same dosage only to be told they have been out of stock month after month for 3 months. Every time I asked the pharmacist said they have no ETA as to when they expected the drug to be in stock. How does a pharmacy run out of a medication like that?! Needless to say I have started to switch to mail delivery and another local pharmacy. read more

I was there this evening and it seems there was an insurance issue delaying the release of my son's pills. The young pharmacist (Brandon?) was super helpful and got me out of there with the medication quickly. I also feel that in general the line there moves much more quickly than the Walgreens that I used to go to so I'm satisfied. read more

I wish I could give this less than one star. After scheduling two COVID drive up tests online for a specified time, we arrived to this CVS where there was no signage directing you where to go for the test. We ended up calling the pharmacy # and after being on hold for 15+ minutes, they told us to get in the pharmacy line that is wrapped around the entire front of the building. It makes 0 sense to have people who are simply picking up a prescription sitting in the same line as people getting flu and coronavirus testing. This is being handled extremely poorly and I would avoid this location. read more

Came in for a prescription to pick up, waited 30 minutes patiently at the drive-thru, only to be told that, "my order isn't ready and will be tomorrow". Well, I gave them my number and was told that I would be given an alert when ready. The next day comes by-I receive that text and wait again another 10 minutes at a drive-thru only to be told the same thing yet again. Honestly, can they hire a whole new crew for Pharmacy that aren't condescending? This is supposed to be a customer service job. read more

Pharmacy staff generally friendly. Same goes for the cashiers at the front of the store. Unfortunately, it is not enough to earn this CVS more than a single star from me. This location never has enough cashiers working regardless of the time or day. On several occasions I have heard both the pharmacy and lone cashier at the front calling for backup at nearly the same time (neither of which appeared to get any support). I went in there the other day and saw a banner advertising their curbside pickup service. If you plan to use that service make sure you check for overnight towing enforcement first, since you will probably have to sleep in the parking lot while waiting for your curbside order. read more

They need to just fire everyone in the pharmacy and hire from scratch or test their customer service with a blind test visit every couple of months. This is one of or preferred pharmacies as they do a large volume of business who seem to enable the pharmacy to have 4to 5 staff on duty most of the day. And the staff are is very efficient and friendly. read more

The employees in this pharmacy are always extremely busy, yet they remain pleasant and professional. I often have prescriptions from out of state which take extra time. The employees never seem put out by this and spend whatever time is needed. They can also fill a prescription in record time! read more

It's sort of amazing how much variance you can find amongst CVS locations. Unfortunately, this one is in the bottom quartile. It's an older CVS and it shows. The place smells musty, looks dusty and - I hope - has seen better days. Inventory doesn't look like it sees much rotation. The food/snack selection is very slim, although they do have booze. The pharmacy! Oh my goodness! What a disaster! There is always a massive line and no one seems to have a clue what is going on. I've waited for 'pickup' prescriptions and they never called my name. How do I know? I was sitting in the chair next to the counter the entire time. The Mister has asked to pick up prescriptions, been told he was not due for a refill - only to get the robo-dial to come pick up his refill less than THREE HOURS after we left! I'm pretty sure the pharmacy staff is playing some version of the 'meow' game from Super Troopers to see how many customers in a row they can manage a HIPAA violation. Seriously. "Please scream your DOB to me three times so I can find your prescription. Now tell me which meds you are on. Do you have any STDs. Mr. Smith, which STDs do you have? No, we don't have your prescription. What was your SSN again?" I don't know if this is true or not, but a neighbor told us that at least a few people - female and male - have been mugged leaving this CVS in the evenings. Probably pill poppers hoping to get lucky. It could all be fabricated, but it freaked me out and I avoid going here after dark. read more

I've been coming here for about six years and while the service has usually been acceptable-but-not-great, today it sunk to WT# levels. My doctor called in three perscriptions at 9:30. I show up at 10:15 to retrieve them, but I'm told they aren't ready yet. However, the person who helped me said she would put "an expedite" on them and they would be ready in 15 minutes. While waiting she suggested I shop in their store or come back in 15 to pick them up at the drive through. I decided to do some grocery shopping about 10 minutes away. I come back about 45 minutes later and then wait for almost 10 in their drive through. When I get to the window no one is there. I wait a minute or two for someone to show up and then hit their buzzer when no one appears. (There were three more cars waiting in line behind me which I thought they saw.) when the woman man I g the drive through appears, she can only provide two of my required perscriptions, but assures me the other will be ready in 20 minutes when she puts "an expedite" in. Soooo, I'm looking for a different pharmacy to use. read more

This CVS annoys me. For the longest time, it was the only one in the area and now suddenly there are like, 5 of them. Good thing, because this one fails at stocking shelves. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in looking for something and it was out of stock. It's not like I'd ask someone to look for it in the back, because everyone working there looks like zombies. Not very friendly and they look half asleep. Once, I came in to look for the bronzer I use which is only carried at CVS and Rite Aid and I was walking up and down the cosmetics aisle. There was a girl wearing all black that was stocking the shelves. Obviously, she worked there. I walked closer to ask her for help and she was on her CELL PHONE! Really!? You couldn't talk to your baby daddy in the back or something? You had to use your phone at work on the sales floor? No. She asked me if I needed help when she saw I was approaching her and she told the person on the other line to hold on. I mean, I know it's CVS but that is so unprofessional. read more

I would give their pharmacy a ZERO (0) for customer service, if that option existed. Made an appointment for a flu shot through my insurance provider (figuring having an appointment would make things go faster & smoother) . Arrived on time (10 min early). Pharmacist takes my insurance card types in my info then tells me that he can't make a connection to my insurer's site (Aetna). Informs me that I can either pay out of pocket and try to get reimbursed from the insurer or leave and come back WHEN he calls me ... IF he can establish a connection to Aetna before he leaves at 6pm. Really?!!! - Of course I never heard back from the pharmacist. - Is this CVS policy of Customer Service or an example of a poorly trained pharmacist who needs retraining on how to properly serve customers and deal with technology. Either case, pretty poor! Immediately went to Walgreens (without an appointment) ... Their pharmacist took my insurance card, typed in my info, told me the connection to Aetna may take a few minute and to have a seat. Five (5) minutes later I received my flu shot. Will not do any future business with CVS. Try Walgreens, they care about their customers. read more

Only second visit but same issues. Pharmacy operation not well organized. Pick up line long and vaccine customers all hanging around in small area. No one at drop off window. After10 minutes asked for help with drop off. Two people needed at pick up window, one could go over to drop off as needed. Lack of organization likely to make people look for another pharmacy. read more

This is the worst cvs I have never been. Stop to pick up some drinks on the way home. The place is so chaotic and short staff. The pharmacy is always very busy. It's non stop there. They could definitely use a few more pharmacists on each shift. However even when it's crazy busy, I always receive amazing service. They're slammed all day every day, and each person on staff really cares and wants to help. I definitely have gotten frustrated when stuff has gone wrong there. I do appreciate the great service through everything! Hopefully cvs will staff more people per shift so things can run more smoothly. This is a high volume location. read more

Not sure this review adds value, as I'm sure it's all been stated in the previous 40+ negative reviews. However, here I go...30 mins waiting in line to pick up a prescription. The lady working -- yes, only one -- working at the cash register displayed no sense of urgency. Then, while there were 10 to 12 people standing in line down the isle, they allowed customers who waited for their prescription to be filled to cut the line. After 25ish minutes of waiting in line the cashier stated that the checkout line at the front of the store needed help, so she left, only to create a lot of commotion/murmuring among her coworkers. Bottom line: it's A LOT like the DMV/MVD. read more

I've been to this CVS a number of times because it's near my office, and not once have I been able to pick up a prescription at the promised time. The people working there are all very pleasant, but it seems like this location is either understaffed or just more busy than it should be. Their main issue is time management - I dropped off a prescription today around 1:30, and they told me it would be ready to go at 3:30. I came back at 4:15, 45 minutes after it was supposed to be picked up, and was told to wait 10 more minutes. Nearly 45 minutes later (and being told to "wait 10 more minutes" after I had waited 25), they finally called me. If a prescription is supposed to be ready at 3:30, you shouldn't have to rush around to have it ready an hour and a half late! This isn't the first time this has happened - almost every time I go, I have to wait at least 30 mins to an hour past the promised time. If you all could just come up with a better time tracking system, it would fix so much. I don't care if you have to tell me that it'll take a few hours when I drop it off, I just want to make sure that it's ready to go when I get there at or after the time you've told me. read more

The pharmacy pick-up wait is atrocious! Don't even try the drive-thru...I waited so long I finally backed up and went inside. But it is no better inside. A line of 15 people and only one register open! I asked them to open another register and was told they can't. It's bad every time I've come. I'm switching pharmacies. read more

I don't post reviews and I really don't like posting negative things. However this location is the absolute worse. I miss Kingbird plaza location SO MUCH!! I hate that my insurance requires me to use CVS. Every time I go there it is an extra long wait. I mean always. No sorry no explanations no sense of urgency. It's like the workers are so use to being behind that they are immune to it. The drive thru is a trap. Once someone pulls up behind you that's it no turning around. And then you just sit and wait.
