But its location is impossibly far away; I had no choice today but to try Medicine Chest. What cost $20 insured at Costco costs $20 insured here. Meanwhile I stocked up on a whole bunch of stuff because their selection is magical. This is going to sound over the top like a fake review but I'm honestly going to drag my sister-in-law here like it's an attraction for all the wellness items it had (e.g. nasal cleaning pots) in addition to drugs, good for people like her (pregnant) who need alternatives. I do not know what their uninsured prices are, I still feel very positive towards Costco, but this place is lit. all my dreams come true as someone who needs a pharmacy in McLean. Their selection seems good from what I can tell. I use probiotics to help regulate my digestive system; I've been hospitalized for problems with it, and have def. determined my fav priobiotic Align by trial and error. Was impressed that they were able to look up my insurance information without even getting my insurance/prescription card. I looked around for about 5 minutes while they filled the prescription and saw a lot of homeopathic meds and essential oils, things that I use and thrive on. I also asked them about other medications that other chain pharmacies had trouble getting and they indicated they wouldn't have a problem in getting it for me when needed for a trip. I'm highly impressed and the pharmacists seem to have a much better grasp on questions as a whole. They were friendly, helpful and super quick in filling my prescription. I will be coming back more often when I need a prescription, even if its a little out of my way. Highly recommend!

Extremely Disappointing Service Since the Change in Ownership…read more Since Jimmy left and the pharmacy changed ownership, the service has gone completely downhill. The customer service is beyond frustrating, and the lack of communication and organization is unacceptable. My medications are set up on automatic refill, so why am I repeatedly waiting 3-5 days for my medication to be ordered? The pharmacy knows these are daily medications that I depend on, yet this has happened multiple times. I have even called ahead to confirm that my medication is in stock and been assured it would be ready on my scheduled refill date. Then I show up, only to be told, "Sorry, there was an issue." The explanation is always that the supplier is to blame. I understand that supply issues can happen, but when this becomes a recurring problem, there needs to be better communication, planning, and accountability. Automatic refills should make managing prescriptions easier, not leave customers scrambling to figure out why their medication isn't ready. Since Jimmy left, this pharmacy is simply not the same. The customer service has deteriorated, and the reliability is no longer there. Patients should not have to repeatedly call, double-check, and chase down medications that they rely on every single day. If you depend on your prescriptions being ready on time, be prepared to follow up repeatedly. Unfortunately, the level of service I have experienced has left me seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. I have now changed pharmacies and somehow my prices are now cheaper!
