Starting for me with the pharmacist who came from behind the pharmacy and assisted me in finding an over the counter product that has since helped me tremendously. She was so kind and willing to help without question. Then later after purchasing my items, I was standing waiting for my husband to finish with the groceries. Another team member from customer service saw me and asked if I needed anything. I told her I was waiting and she invited .me to sit and wait on one of the benches. They proactively make sure my medicine is in stock for my refills. They call me when it is ready without me ever having to contact them. They take care of all my insurance without me having to tell them anything. My refills are painless each month as I all I do is show up, walk-in, and get my medicine. No lines, no hassles, always in stock and ready. Their prices are the same if not cheaper than anywhere else so I dont know why anyone would bother going to any other pharmacy.

Suzanne the pharmacist always takes time to make sure we understand the medications and immunizations she provides. Christina the pharmacy tech goes the extra mile to make sure we get what we need. We feel that they're committed to serving the needs of the community and we appreciate that attitude.

When I visited the store, I had a terrible experience at CVS Bel Pre Rd in Silver Spring, MD. Not only the checkout lines were slow and backed up at the pharmacy, the pharmacy manager, Fawaz Vatan, was unhelpful and lackadaisical. He didn't seem to care whether he worked there or not and neither did the other employees. I guess the disinterested management attitude is reflected on the staff's energy. The pharmacy manager's customer service was rude and lacked professionalism. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. Initially thought of going to online Amazon Pharmacy, but on the way home, I stopped at another CVS in Aspen Hill, MD, where the pharmacy manager Angie helped me with the same issue that I took to CVS Bel Pre. It was easy making the appointment through their app. It sent me confirmation after selecting a date and time and a reminder close to the time of the appointment. As this location is less busy, this is the reason I selected this spot. The confirmation stated to show up 5 minutes before the appointment time and then head to the Pharmacy which I know is in the back right of this CVS. Once back there, you will see a sign that says, "Vaccine Check-In". You will need to provide your name, date of birth and your insurance card. They will ask which arm you want the vaccination on (left or right) and then I was ushered to an area they had slightly closed off from the public and there was a chair there. I sat in it until it was time for my appointment. Once it was time, an employee came over, prepped for the shot and gave me my flu shot. It was quick. Once done, I got a $5 off $20 coupon to be used online or in-store all because I got a vaccination through CVS. It is good until 12/31/26

Before I do, I want to ask the CVS Supervisor to come back. Stop leaving just anybody in the store. You run a good store and keep it clean and friendly. An elderly young man came up and she pointed her finger to the self check out. That young man was African american. Then 2 more elderly people can up and she pointed to self checkout and basically sent the other African American couple to self check out. Rolled her lil nasty eyes and everything. While she was rudely handling the customers I was still waiting. She finally rang the bell for someone to help me and the other girl got mad. She was either mad she had to help, was mad she couldn't personal shop or read ingredients, or she was mad she was rang to the front. Either 1 doesn't matter, presentation matters. When she took me to a random part in the store she said they don't have what I was looking for. I got other items I came for and tried to go the the register. She put the closed signs up and pointed to the self check out. When I started to self check out she was getting mad she had to help. Then wanted to argue with me. She said" you need to put your items to the left and I need to use cash for the self check out". I told her no and I tried to go to the register and she didnt want to help which is cool HOWEVER, If the self check out is broken don't blame me for the machines malfunctions. Do your job and leave me to your devices. Once I was done she came over 3 times to fix errors. I paid and once I grabbed all of the things I had,THEN, she wants to be helpful and say do you want a bag?. Ugh. Gurl BYE! I waited for help so you could feel free to mistreat the eldery. I was so upset. So, to my original thought process. To the CVS Supervisor. The black lady, the friendly, welcoming, cheerful, helpful, honest supervisor.
