At CVS, I'd fill it and if they didn't have it they wouldn't tell me and I'd have to call and talk to someone and MAYBE it would get ordered. Maybe not. It could take a week or more to get what I needed. I found this to be true with other pharmacies as well, so I figured they were all like this. This Safeway not only fills my meds within half an hour or so of having it called in, they currently have a program where you get a 50 dollar store credit after so many refills. There is never really much of a line and the people that work there are actually nice to interact with. This is nothing like any pharmacies I have had to deal with elsewhere.

Sid has always given me outstanding advice about health products. My doctor told me to take a probiotic. I do not know how Sid can keep that much product knowledge in his head. I am disabled. I have good days and bad days. Rollins will deliver because I am not far. When they did not have a product I needed, because there was a shortage of it; they knew of another local pharmacy that would deliver and that had that product in. Sid and the team are a credit to the healthcare field. Because it is very important to me to be fair. I do have to include the one negative thing I could think of as well. Out of concern for customer health numerous drug stores stopped selling tobacco. Kudos to them for that. As a non-smoker, I can tell you it is way too long coming. Rollins takes this concern about health too far. Not only doesn't Rollins sell tobacco, they are so concerned about your health you cannot buy a candy bar.

I am lucky enough to have two compounding pharmacies near me within a mile from each other. So, when I recently got a prescription for a compounded cream, I knew that I wanted to shop between the two and compare prices. IMO, people don't shop around enough when it comes to their healthcare - not this girl. For the same medication, I was quoted 52% cheaper at Shady Grove than at Vashan's down the road... automatic victor in my book! The service was quick (no lines) and the turnaround was short (pick up later the next day). I wish they would text you when your scrip was ready, but I knew to show up around the same time I had dropped it off. Easy enough. Definitely recommend Shady Grove Pharmacy for all your compounding needs.

My experience is usually decent when I visit but today and yesterday were otherwise. I also come to this store very often because I reside less than ten minutes away. During my visit today with my family we needed to be checked out at customer service because we needed formula for my infant. In the process of this we were assisted by Dorothy. While proceeding to pay my husband and I were deciding how we were going to split our payments between items. Dorthy said to us "It don't matter.." and kept ringing up our items. I had to first take a deep breath because why are you telling us that it don't matter?! I then had to say calmly; " I think what we were trying to decide is who is paying for what.." after that I let it go. Then yesterday evening at self check out and older lady was there with locs and somewhat slim build, tall. I did not get her name. My husband and I were purchasing alcohol. When the alarm rang to notify the worker, he handed over his ID, she rudely said "I cannot see that". I looked at my husband and he looked at me. At that point I almost went head to head because it isn't our responsibility to read you what's on the card especially if you're going to be rude about it. I then stated out loud so all bystanders can hear that don't care how I'm feeling on the job, you will never catch me being rude to customers. She then came back over, touched me TWICE when I told her not to and said she stated I wasn't being rude I don't have my contacts." Almost like she was trying to shut me up or calm me down. From a customers view not having contacts should have nothing to do with how you said what you said. Also if you know you do work that requires it make sure you have them unless it's another situation. There is a way to say things and conduct yourself while in a professional space. So glad I will be moving. Overseers of this place need to do another evaluation of the people they choose to hire.
