The worst of all is Anna, the owner of the pharmacy. She is abusive and even threatened me. I won't disclose exactly what she said for fear of her finding out who I am and retaliating but she was so horrible to me. The only reason why I go to this pharmacy is because I can't get my medication at a reasonable price elsewhere. If it wasn't for their rudeness this place would be great.

So, when I recently got a prescription for a compounded cream, I knew that I wanted to shop between the two and compare prices. IMO, people don't shop around enough when it comes to their healthcare - not this girl. For the same medication, I was quoted 52% cheaper at Shady Grove than at Vashan's down the road... automatic victor in my book! The service was quick (no lines) and the turnaround was short (pick up later the next day). I wish they would text you when your scrip was ready, but I knew to show up around the same time I had dropped it off. Easy enough. Definitely recommend Shady Grove Pharmacy for all your compounding needs.

I use Goodrx, and they state that HT has the lowest price in the area for my particular meds. The service is great and they are usually accurate in giving me an ETA on when my meds will be ready. I was…read morecalling around as one of my medications was out of stock and I decided to give this little gem a call. Mai picked up the phone, no prompts, nothing just an actual human being. That shocked me to begin with. Although she was out of stock she recommended calling my doctor and having them adjust the dosage as she had a different strength available. I did as she suggested and everything worked out! She even called to tell me she received the script from my doctor and I could come anytime. I showed up at 5:30pm as she closes at 6 and she said you must be Renee. I was like omg hey yes I am! The pharmacy is so cute and so private you don't feel uncomfortable like at other pharmacies. I honestly always feel judged whether it is from a pharmacist or a pharmacy tech. Mai and I got to chatting about other medications I take and she said she would make sure they were stocked on the shelf for me. Wow! How great! I also let her know my troubles with CVS/Rite Aid and she agreed pharmacists shouldn't be interfering with what the doctors recommend. Love that! At CVS, I'd fill it and if they didn't have it they wouldn't tell me and I'd have to call and talk to someone and MAYBE it would get ordered. Maybe not. It could take a week or more to get what I needed. I found this to be true with other pharmacies as well, so I figured they were all like this. This Safeway not only fills my meds within half an hour or so of having it called in, they currently have a program where you get a 50 dollar store credit after so many refills. There is never really much of a line and the people that work there are actually nice to interact with. This is nothing like any pharmacies I have had to deal with elsewhere.
