The people at this pharmacy are so rude! Their tone in which they answer questions is aggressive and they make you feel like you're an annoyance for having questions. The worst of all is Anna, the owner of the pharmacy. She is abusive and even threatened me. I won't disclose exactly what she said for fear of her finding out who I am and retaliating but she was so horrible to me. The only reason why I go to this pharmacy is because I can't get my medication at a reasonable price elsewhere. If it wasn't for their rudeness this place would be great. read more

Very sloppy service. I've used this pharmacy before but called the week before about prescriptions my doctor sent in. I was told they did not have one of the medications in stock and that they would order it and have it ready the following week after 1 pm. I came into the pharmacy and none of the prescriptions were ready. I asked about the medication and whether it was ordered, and then told that it did come in but none of prescriptions had been processed or were ready. They don't have a lot of medications in stock and while I'm ok with them being ordered and processed later, I'm not okay not processing all the orders sent in and taking about a week. I also asked about discount card that was also sent in, and they mentioned they did forgot to process it with the codes. Told me to wait an additional 30 minutes. read more

My laser eye surgeon recommended that I get my post-LASIK prescription eye drops from this pharmacy since they're close by and their turn around for mailing prescriptions is pretty quick. I appreciate that they did get my prescription to me in time for my surgery. I decided to go in to pick up my last round of eye drops since I was in the area. They were ready when I arrived, but imagine my surprise when the pharmacist loudly announces the name and type of my prescription to the entire pharmacy. What if my prescription was of a more personal nature? I thought discretion and patient privacy were an important part of this business. Clearly, not at this pharmacy. Moreover, the automated phone calls are a nuisance and not at all intuitive. They tell you to press a button to be connected to the pharmacy, only for you to then have to hang up and call the pharmacy directly. read more

This is the first time I've used a pharmacy that delivers prescriptions. I was supposed to get a call the same day (or next) of my appointment to go over the requirements to fill my prescription but was told I can call if I didn't hear from them. I called the next day just because the process was new to me and I wanted to make sure I didn't drop the ball on anything needed of me. I spoke to a pharmacy rep (maybe she was the pharmacist) and I had a great conversation which she took time to explain how they operated and what was needed of me. I was disappointed to find out my prescription wasn't covered by my insurance but the cost was not too outrageous and she explained the use and modifications that could happen down the line that would ultimately save me some dollars. I didn't feel rushed as we talked through all my questions and concerns. My prescription was placed before the holiday and it's a compound so they were upfront in letting me know I won't receive the order until the following week Tuesday (today!). I got text alerts first thing this morning that the order was en route and not even an hour later it was delivered. Not bad!! The packaging was pristine and I can't find a single thing to complain about. I can get use to the door to door thing! Now, if my refill goes as well as this first go around...I will increase my review to 5 stars. :) read more

5 STAR PHARMACY!!!! In all my years of filling my medications, I have never experienced better customer service than I have with Friendship Pharmacy. I have been moving around constantly and always dealt with big chain pharmacies and every time there has been an issue with filling my medications or a problem with staff members. I have found this pharmacy after my doctor had sent my prescription to them. When I walked in, it was the outstanding customer service and knowledge that they provided me with, that made me transfer all my prescriptions with them. They were able to help me with each of my medications and fill them fast. They were so courteous and willing to go out of their way in person and on phone calls. Friendship Pharmacy - CLEAN and ORGANIZED!! - Pharmacy Near Me - Chevy Chase, Maryland

I have had the most upsetting and devastating interaction with this pharmacy over the last 2 months. They lost or misplaced or otherwise just failed to deliver some critical medication to my elderly mother--the medication never arrived. The head pharmacist "claimed" to help by "covering the cost" and "re-sent" it when in fact they were just covering for their own mistake or the mistake of their delivery service--who knows! It was just a weird fiasco--her reaction was just bizarre. The manager pharmacist has been hostile, rude and unyielding ever since. She talks over me, interrupts me and just has caused so much distress to me as I struggle alone to care for my elderly mother. She accused me of making up "sob stories" when I told her about my physical limitations/disability and how it was impacting this situation. She is just a horrible and insensitive person. Most recently, they failed to deliver my mother's heart medication because it was bundled with another medication that she randomly decided she wouldn't deliver. It has just thrown a wrecking ball into my life with her now refusing to allow us to have dozens of my mother's prescriptions sent at all. I now have to arrange to have dozens of prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy that doesn't even deliver (no pharmacies in my area do. It has been a very difficult time in life made all the more horrible by having this pharmacist do this to me and my family! I had used this pharmacy for YEARS with no problem and it all fell apart over this initial failure on their part to deliver my mother's meds in a timely way. They do not care about their customers and their head pharmacist is abusive, petty and rude. I really want to support small businesses and try to boost them whenever possible--but this one has really hurt me and my family. read more

This is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff are professional and friendly. You can get mail delivery or pick up in person. I've never had to wait more than a couple days to fill my rx. They are very helpful over the phone and will let you know the cost ahead of time and someone has helped me find coupons for my medications before. They have inconsistent pricing. I bought two of the same item. Each had a different price that were both different than what was in the computer. I was overcharged $3. Before this incident I purchased something that sell by date was 2017. When I went back the STILL had the outdated things on the shelf. Very disappointed. I was referred to this pharmacy by my entrusting doctor because of their quality in service. At first I was hesitant because most pharmacies only care about quantity over quality. One of the employees there, Anny, really went out of her way to get my prescriptions filled and sent out to me. Not only that but she helped me save major money since some of the meds were not in my formulary plan. Insensitive people. Was ready to leave my prescription that I downloaded from my doctor and they told me they had to call to verify since it was downloaded and I said fine and was trying to explain that I wanted to come back (I was on my way somewhere else) and that all the information was on the paper, but one of the young women ran over to me, interrupted the discussion, to loudly state that it was illegal for them to fill a digital prescription. She made me feel exactly like a criminal who was there trying to falsely wrangle a drug rather than fill my ongoing chronic care medication. Will never go there again as they employ people who don't understand how to talk nicely to a customer or understand how they can make them feel. Walk only a few yards away and go to the Brookeville Pharmacy in the same block and you won't get that attitude. read more

I didn't think a pharmacy would give me the "wow factor" but I can say without a doubt I left this pharmacy "wow'd' The staff was friendly and even though they were busy they still managed to make time for me.
