I had no idea that they switched to this automated computer system to check in for a prescription. Instead, I stood in line to talk to the pharmacy tech to only be redirected to the kiosks. Once there, I found out that I had to wait. You know how awkward it is to wait in a pharmacy with virtually no seating. It was me browsing a bit before I decided to open the app and see if I could do anything to speed up the process. I was, by adding a payment option in the app and turning on a notification to let me know it was ready kind of sped this all along. I had to just wait a bit before I got that notification that my prescription was ready and I was set. Once that was done, I could finally go up and tap on the screen to get my prescription. The few things I did find while browsing they rung up as well which saved me time. But, it still felt like I was bothering them by just standing there.
