Says it's 24Hrs. But the older guy that works over night locks the store. Top it off, he's rather cranky. Very unprofessional for a good seven eleven.

Handling food with safety and care is a concept that's very nonexistent here. The "cashier" was way more worried about talking to his friends than actually helping people. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Took a jaunt (.5) mile walk to check out this bright, airy, and immaculate social spot. Weather grabbing a bite, meeting up, studying or simply grabbing a bite you'll be satisfied. The table next to me got a panini with fries and a bowl. Both were gorgeous and deliciously plated with dinner sized portions. I, however, kept it simple. I got pancakes without blueberries, 1 egg, and bacon. Everything is a la cart. I was expecting Big Box pancakes. These were anything but! They were perfectly cooked with a light crisp, very dense but airy. Vanilla sewn in each bite. They were THICK too. I was pleasantly surprised. Initially thought the price was exorbitant but the taste and appeal made up for it. Eggs were scrambled to perfection and seasoned too. I requested salt before I tasted them. So glad I didn't add any. Bacon was regular nothing major to rotate. Now the Sakura Latte wasn't as pretty as the one on Insta but it was delicious none the less. Not sweet but no earthy either. Cherry after taste but smooth due to the milk. I did add a sugar free vanilla syrup. The Cafe is beautiful. Contemporary and masculine furniture with feminine accompaniment due to the vast windows and pillows that let in a lot of natural light. Its definitely worth a stop if you're near. I really enjoyed my visit.

Of course, I've tried the 4 others that are closer and on the way. But the atmosphere at others? lacking. My 4-shot-extra-dry-almond-milk-macchiato? Meh.. at the other places. But I think it's the people and community that really tip the scales. As soon as the Com-Coff door is ajar, Morgan (one of Compass Coffee's finest) or any of the other baristas greet me by name. Other regular customers I meet there have identical sentiments. The staff is efficient, quick and work with grace; and sometimes with a bit of wit ... even despite recent the occasion(s) when there less a barista or two. :)

They're located below the Vertical Rock Climbing & Fitness Center, so it's super convenient for those who have an appointment to stop by before or afterwards. We stopped by for a caffeine fix, and ordered: +an Apple Square - it was stated that this would be heated, but it was served cold +a latte with oat milk - we requested this to be extra hot, and it was more lukewarm +the Spiced Demerara Latte - prepared with brown sugar and cinnamon syrup; this was requested to be extra hot, and it was more lukewarm; the coffee itself was strong, though Not sure if the barista was overwhelmed, but it took quite some time to get our latte - we went up a couple of times, and they stated that it should be coming out soon, but it didn't. The main issue was that there seemed to be a leak from the ceiling; they had the seating area sectioned off, but it reeked of mildew/old dishrag, which was pretty gross and unpleasant, especially if you're trying to enjoy a bite and a drink. Ample parking, but it can be slightly narrow to get in and out. No dice, Basecamp. +lukewarm coffee +cold pastries +unpleasant odors

The seasonal Donuts and the Croissant Tarts keep me coming back! Best Donuts - Pumpkin Pie Donut, Tiramisu Donut, Key Lilme Pie, Boston Cream, and Hot Cocoa Nutella donut. The Strawberry and Raspberry have a Jelly/Jam filling, and wasn't a big fan of the Cookie Butter Donut that tasted like creamy peanut butter or the Cannoli donut that didn't have the sweet creamy filling that I was hoping for. Croissant Tarts - Both the sweet and savory tarts deliver! The Raspberry Cream Cheese Tart, Red Pepper Feta Tart, Apple Tart, and Everything Tart are all delicious! The classic Garlic Spinach Tart and Shroom Tart are fine. Best Croissants - Christmas Tree Raspberry Croissant, Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Croissant, Apple Butter Crumble Croissant, Almond Croissant, and Matcha Croissant. The cookies are pretty light and fluffy, the Lemon Cheesecake Cookie tasted like a lemon sugar cookie with no filling. For Valentine's Day, the Linzer sugar cookie filled with raspberry jam was delicious! So glad I grabbed the last one by 11am on Saturday! For Mother's Day, there were colorful macaroons. All of the fillings with the donuts and croissants are whipped and pretty light. There's a parking garage next door and you can get parking validated for 1 hour. While there's plenty of seating inside, it can get packed over the weekends. There's no outdoor seating (there's some makeshift seating around the high-rise building). Now that I've moved a bit further away from campus and no longer have a ton of time on Friday mornings, I've been feeling nostalgic about my old university favorite. So just imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Grace Street Coffee in Bethesda! This lovely little shop is a bit different from their Georgetown counterpart -- for one, they don't have any indoor seating and consist of just a tiny little window that you can order from and a small patio you can pop a squat on when the weather is nice -- but sports the same outstanding coffee and friendly service. Their coffee is great, all roasted in their historic Georgetown spot and featuring great caramel-y, fruity undertones. And, while they have a small shop in Bethesda, it is mighty; all of the drinks are prepared with expert precision and efficiency. You might have to wait in line for a bit, since there are only two people working here and it gets pretty busy, especially during the weekends, but it's 100% worth the wait.

I feel like they should be a bakery that serves coffee on the side. Their mushroom toast is out of this world! Like the best thing I've had in a long time. Their sourdough and multigrain bread is the foundation and the most beautiful one at that. The sauce is magnificent. Their croissant is as close to magic as you can get...
