While out for the day I needed to grab a few things before heading home. Seeing how this Target is attached to the Wheaton Westfield it was an easy stop for me. I came in and went directly to the sections I needed. I was able to grab just about everything with some searching. I made this my last stop since some of the items were perishable. The thing about this store that kind of is off, the customers. There are so many of them that like to just stand in the way and not allow you browse an aisle. Tip, use the self checkouts. They are your fastest route to exit the store. Also, come prepared with your bags ready to make it that much faster. read more

This is another store i like in Wheaton Plaza that on another side of the Mall , This Is Taret . This trace is two levels high 1 upper level one lower level i took pics to cover what I could which will be exlainec.later. this place on the upper level has Custkmer service Dez and cashier lines on the right hand side of the store . Behind the cashier line shows tow mens and mens shoe department. On yhe right a hallmark card area Grocery department. Snack Food Areas . They also have a stationary and arts and crafts departments and home appliances . On the iwer level they have women's clothing children's and baby departments , they have pottery area and home decor, electronics department with DVD , Books and more . They have kids toys area . In this place ou can get lost in this place fir days and never fjnd yoyr way out . There are si many departments t choose from here at Target . They have kitchen wear and appliances departments too . Which most department are impressive as I can see . But the prices fir this store are somewhat expensive and high . I loved coming here fir The New Sketcher Slip on Shoes which are the new High recommended brands there people rave ave about. I love getting mens clothes like mens pants shirts . Sometimes groceries there . Sonetime cell phone chargers and dvds . But I wish they make their jib applications easier to access instead of making them so difficult to access abd get the jobs there . If I wanted jobs there it would either be the electronics department or the customer service desk or cashier department or the grocery department area tgat want soneday . But management has to change there too to be more helpful and have better peope skills instead of hiding in their offices . Plus if people like me wanted jibs there they should think of Job events there I persin to see what people like ke can do to b great assets to the Teams and the stores called Target . During the pandemic it was all of Us Americans tgat were at fault fir the lnexcusable , Unlawful, Unjustifiable, Unprofessional, And wrongful behaviors of the past . We all need including management's and Superiors neex to regain Trust and much more to revamp the customer service there so that behaviors like that are Never Tolerated agajn . Been to this specific Target a couple of times when around the Wheaton area. Good selection of different items. Electronics section seemed smaller than before, though. Had lots of earphones, games and movies locked up in the aisles. Didn't see too many things on sale. read more

Today was my first time in this area, and I desperately had to get a collared shirt for an important meeting that I'm going to in about an hour. I didn't need anything too formal, but just something decent to wear. This was the only store that was open at this early hour. They actually had a pretty decent selection, and I found the white collared shirt that I was looking for. What was cool about this store is that there is also a Starbucks located inside. This made my life a little easier and I purchased a regular coffee with cream as I was leaving. These stores are a definite blessing. read more

My night is ruined because of ROB!!! Me and my friends are very smart and we had this competition called NHD, which is locally based in MD. After our performance, we went to this mall. Then we went to target to use the bathroom. I said "let's get a cart" because I was tired of holding our bags. And my friend brought the cart. I said "my feet are sooooo tired," and my friend said, "you're small enough to fit in the cart, you should go inside." Mind you, I am twelve years old along with my friends. So we rode along for a little bit, and this worker named ROB came up to us and said "GET OUT OF THE CART!" Mind you, two of us were inside. We said "okay," VERY politely. We know it's kinda rude to go inside the carts, but I see full grown ADULTS inside the carts all the TIME. I think it was just because we were teens. We continue shopping but he continued to watch us, which is fine and understandable. 30 minutes of shopping later, we went inside the elevator because the escalator was BROKEN. My friend put her foot on the bottom part of the cart, which is not rude. When we get out of the elevator, we go to checkout. And two steps later, ROB appears with his disgusting presence and says "GET OUT OF THIS STORE!!" We say, "why sir?" And he says that my friend went inside the cart again even though he told us to stop, which we did NOT. We asked him to see the security cameras cuz he says he saw us on them. He said "no" VERY RUDELY. Mind you, we are only little kids. So ROB follows us to the exit, because we were cooperative. I say "this is so stupid because we didn't do anything," and he says "whatever, get your a s s out of here." Mind you, WE ARE STILL KIDS. We get out and he watches us walk away for 20 minutes. So to ROB, please clean those crusty dreads of urs and ur crusty face and eyelids. U have the nerve to talk like that to LITERAL TWELVE YEAR OLD. Ik your are jealous that we are skinny and your not. You're just mad we are smarter than u and ur so dumb and pathetic that you have to work at the target in a horrendous mall. Please whoever is the manager fire him immediately. And ROB, sleep with one eye open and never leave your crusty toes outside of ur blanket. Thank you and goodbye. read more

While my Target experience was pretty fast, I had a pretty pleasant experience at this location. I pretty much dropped by to pick up a few items for a baby shower. I thought the store was pretty clean and very organized with a nice layout. My (very minor) issue was this location is a bit darker (in terms of lighting) than other Targets that I have visited in the past. Since this Target is pretty close to where I live and is located in a decent sized mall, I probably will drop by again in the future. read more

Came here on a treasure hunt to find formula for my cousins preemie. Did you know that there are still difficulties finding this stuff? Anywho parking is fair to middling. Clean and organized store! Can be very busy at certain times - I'd avoid weekends. I don't come here often but was in the area. I stopped in earlier today right after they opened. I've been on a hunt for lysol spray and heard Target have them - no luck here! Figured since I was here I'd walk around - it was nice and empty that early in the day! I'm in the market for an airfryer and had looked some up online but I like to see certain things in person before buying. I still left not buying one - I need to do my research and read the reviews. There are so many options! I picked up some other items and went to the self check-out. I didn't see a single cashier at any of the registers! read more

This is my local target and I come here often for shower supplies and hair supplies. I don't worry about them being low in stock for what I need. It's a huggeee target. However, they could do better at adding more hair products for kinky curly hair types cause I didn't see much. They have tons of anything you may need. The staff here pretty much mind there own business and are working the floor. You wont really find any of them asking you if you need help with anything, you would have to be the one to approach them for any help you need (typical of all targets). However staff is friendly to help. Pretty chill place to shop read more

April 2020 update- Target store has limited hours of operation due to the covid-19 worldwide event. I think they close by 8pm. Please double check as hours may change again. However, we decided to come here to get some key essential household items. We decided to try their "drive up" option to pick up our order. Essentially, you order your items online and use the drive up option to receive your order. Please note that the drive up parking spaces are located next to the alternative costco entrance in the outdoor parking lot. It is not located to the parking lot across from the Giant food grocery store. Upon making the order, I was notified after a few hours that my order was ready. I used the Target app and they asked me to describe my vehicle type and color. Once I arrived to the parking lot and parked in the designated drive up space, I opened the app again and noticed Target that I was here. Within 2-3 minutes, a target employee walks outside wearing gloves and mask with my order. The representative scanned the barcode from my phone and promptly places the items in my vehicle trunk. It was THAT easy. Wished I've used this function more often. I give the staff here a 4 star as they continue to work hard to assist their customers. Stay safe everyone. -------------------- Update as of June 2019 Takes cash, credit cards and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay). opens late if you need any last minute householdbit This Target location is located inside the Westfield Wheaton Mall. There is plenty of free parking throughout the shopping center. This Target also has a Starbucks located on the 2nd level near the checkout lines. There are 8 self checkout kiosks and several in person operates registers. The women clothing, pharmacy and grocery items are located on the 2nd level (top level) and the men's clothing, electronics and children toys / clothing are on the 1st level (bottom level). They also sell kitchenware and most household appliances on the bottom level. This Target is pretty good in terms of getting what you want here. Be sure to use the Target app to get additional discounts on certain items. The Starbucks here is really nice too. Very friendly staff members and a few tables to sit at if you need to sit down. Customer service lines can be crowded sometimes. Maybe they should put additional staff at customer service section. Otherwise, this Target is worth checking out. read more

We had not been to the Wheaton Target in a while and apparently they have made a number of changes. You enter directly into the store from the door on the Costco parking lot side. The store seems larger, there is a Starbucks, the pharmacy is now a CVS, beauty includes a small Ulta section. I was trying to find a certain Christmas tree light string with no luck. I asked an Associate for help and next thing I knew I had three Associates trying to find my lights, even checking the stock room. I was on a mission to find my lights so didn't do a lot of exploring, but must say I'm interesting in going back to see what I missed. read more

Pretty sad place, hard to get to, difficult parking forget about any memorable products. They dropped archer farms so not much to distinguish them. What is the point of target - zero customer service. Forget checkout - you must stand in line with 20 other people for self checkout line. Yeah no, thanks and if enough people redirected their time, Target wouldn't get away with it but since apparently this target store attracts people without jobs, they can get away with extremely long waits for self service line because they refuse to pay fir workers. read more

3/13/21 The lower level is now closed off. Traffic is coming in and out on the second floor. The saying it's an exit not an entrance comes to mind. The place doesn't give off a welcoming vibe. The place is busy and the lines are long, but I had to tell you in this sad, sad song. Many staff member walk around in red. Many off them don't look happy and I start to wonder why. This Coronavirus Pandemic has got to be why. The ambience is okay, but it could be much better. The men's bathroom looked clean, but at the same time there was big footprint on the inside of the men's toilet door. The toilet had Mellow yellow in it from what I saw, but didn't look closely and I am happy for that. The need to use the bathroom. Went away and I will find another place to handle me business. Target - 3/13/21. Only one way in, one way out now. Security has seen to that. - Department Stores Near Me - Silver Spring, Maryland

This has become my go to target. It's very close it has always had everything I needed. It's super fun that it's attached to a mall and a Costco in case I think of anything else I need while I'm out. This is a two floor target. It has a regular parking lot, not a garage. I'm still adjusting to having to floors. It can sometimes make specific things hard to find. But their online order and pick up is super easy to use! If I have both my kids home from school, the drive up option is awesome! read more

Some lady stole my wallet at this target, had to call the police because the security found her using my debit card at the self checkout. I locked my card and instead of turning in my wallet she just took the card out and left it on the shelf of a random aisle, which someone found later. I'm disappointed not only with the store but the criminal activity in this mall, never had this happen to me anywhere else. Just spare your time and drive to a different target. read more

This Target is an anchor store inside the mall which seems unusual. Great location near the Metro station and many bus lines. Enter through the mall on their of two levels. Yes, this is one of those stores, which has a elevator and escalators for both people and carts. Some signage exists for which departments are on which levels. I found the store to appear not very well stocked but I found most of what I wanted, was able to purchase it from a friendly checkout clerk (minimal wait) and depart. I didn't see many other department stores in the vicinity - Walmart or Kmart - so maybe they think that they can be mediocre and the locals won't go elsewhere. read more

What you be dissing my Target for? I like this location better than the one on Cherry Hill Rd and the one in Rockville. It is far less crowded. If you are fortunate enough to have a week day off, then go here at 10 am and you'll have the cashiers to yourself. What I like best here are the pharmacists. They are friendly and helpful. They'll even return your call if you have questions. Plus, they have a semi-private booth for consultations. What I don't like: While the two levels is cool, the organization is a bit off. On the ground floor they have their food marketplace. Along with that they have aisles of laundry and dish detergent, but stuff like sponges are upstairs where they sell brooms. Also, I was downstairs looking for sturdy, non-disposable food containers. They had the Ziploc disposable kind, but the Rubbermaid kind were upstairs again near the microwaves. You can burn a lot of calories here navigating your way around this store. I like it still. $5.49 for a six-pack of Luna bars keeps me coming back! read more

This Target in Wheaton is not my favorite. In fact, it is a little sad. Firstly the set up is strange, you walk in and it lacks retail Feng shui. Each department is smaller than other Targets and the shelves are disorganized. I went three weeks before Halloween and the displays were torn apart and lacked the essentials. There is an escalator to a bottom floor so this Target is not all on one floor and it is apart of a larger mall. You have to walk through the mall to get in. Parking is crazy, you have to be extra careful walking from your car to the store- I was almost run over two times. Are the bathrooms clean? Nope nope nope read more

We have been going to this Target since the day it opened because it is so close. It has always been plagued by lack of customer service, food well past expiration, and questionable practices. My wife once bought a pack of toothbrush heads which, upon opening, had all been used. We started going to the Target on Rockville Pike even though it was much less convenient. After the recent renovation, we decided to give the store minutes from our house another try. We spent an hour shopping on Saturday morning, but when we reached the self check-out area, there were no cashiers on duty, we saw a bunch of shoppers standing around looking angry. Word spread through the crowd that the internet was down and they were only able to accept cash. After a while, a woman that I recognized from over the years, came to the large group of shoppers saying that they weren't able to take credit cards. No apology. Couldn't they have said something before everyone spent their time shopping? I walked a cross the mall to withdraw $300 to pay cash for our purchases. On the way back, I received a message from my wife that the problem had been fixed. Great! We began scanning out items, and on the fourth item, got an error message. We waited patiently for the only person working in the area, and he came over frantically typing in code after code to reset the checkout. He began pulling items out of our bag demanding to know what the last item we rang up was. I explained that the item he had in his hand had already been rung up and he angrily said he only saw 3 items rung up but there were 4 in the bag. There was an accusatory tone in his voice which we didn't appreciate at all. He rung in the missing item and walked away without saying a word. Again, no apology of any sort. The very next item we scanned produced another error saying a team member would be right with us. My wife made eye contact with the manager who quickly turned and scampered away. We dumped the items we had rung back into our cart and walked out. We had lost an hour of our lives, and felt insulted. We are very patient people and any sort of apology from the staff for the inconvenience would have gone a long way to retaining our business, but there was never a hint of anything resembling empathy or apology. No amount of new lighting or fresh paint can break the entrenched apathetic culture of this location. read more

This store is okay without being exceptional. It is hard to find an employee on the floor. The sales aren't that exciting. Sometimes there will be a coupon that generates after you text a code to Target. I bought $15 worth of ziplock products and received a $5 Target card with my purchase. The music section is disappearing. I wouldn't buy electronics at Target. The only occasion that might be worth a trip would be a back to school supply sale. read more

This is the closest Target to my home. I'm often picking up groceries, home goods, personal care items and clothing here. I have had some very positive experiences with the employees at this store. When I was picking up a pending order my daughter made for my grandson's soccer shoes & soccer ball the ball was out out of stock. They separated the order for me. When the customer service employee saw me on the sales floor 15 minutes later she stopped me to say that they now have the ball. It was at the customer service counter when I was ready to check out with my groceries. I paid for everything there. It was so convenient! The people staffing the customer service counter here are so friendly, helpful and efficient. I haven't had a significant delay or a problem they couldn't solve. The same is true for the other employees that have helped me on the sales floor. Thank you for the great service! On top of this the store is clean, organized and kept well stocked. This TGT is a total gem. Chiefly because it's Metro accessible while at the same time being in a very out of the way and generally undesirable location. Why, you ask, would being out of the way be a good thing? In this case, it's an utterly fabulous thing because it means that when you burst through the doors nearly a week after the release of Richard Chai's limited-edition collection for GO International you'll still be able to find almost every piece here in your size! (You know that ain't happenin' at the Columbia Heights Tar-zhay. . .) As far as I'm concerned, the poor organization and somewhat dismal state of this store is a total plus. This Target is an old friend of mine and I like it, warts and all. It's definitely not one of the better Target stores out there, but the sort of place to pop in if you need a few items while browsing elsewhere in the Wheaton mall. The layout and organization can be lacking compared to other Targets. It's two floors, which can't be helped because it's in a mall, but this isn't the most convenient setup. It's also not as well stocked or maintained as some other Targets. For example, maybe it was because I was shopping in between seasons, but some holiday items seemed to be placed almost randomly through the store, such on the side of an aisle with paper towels near no other holiday display and unlike other Targets I frequent. Some of the merchandise looked a bit worse for wear, too. But really, I'm at Target to get some essentials and a few knick knacks and get out. It's not the end of the world if they are out of my preferred shampoo one particular day. Parking is ample, although I think it's gotten more congested in the lots since the Costco came in and the mall started to revitalize. Still no problems finding a spot in the parking lot on a recent weekend afternoon. It's also conveniently located near the Wheaton metro station and accessible by bus. read more

Not a bad Target, and it's the closest one to my house. However, the main reason that this store gets two stars from me is the whole mall situation. First of all, there is no exterior entrance. All interactions with Target must be done through the mall. No going directly into Target from the parking lot. What the designers of the store were thinking when they deliberately omitted an exterior entrance is beyond me, but it's highly annoying. Second, while this Target is two levels and there is a mall entrance on both levels, only the upper level has checkout lines in it. The only register on the lower level is in electronics. Other than that, all checkout activity must occur upstairs. Likewise, the lower level mall entrance closes before the mall does. Thus after that entrance closes, in order to go from the lower level of the mall to the lower level of Target, one must go up to the upper level of the mall, into Target, and then down Target's escalators. Very annoying. Why Target didn't rectify this situation and install registers on the lower level during its last remodel in 2010 is beyond me. read more

Don't understand the 2 star average rating. Maybe we came here at a quiet time? Maybe I'm too accustomed to the one in Columbia Heights? I don't know. Regardless, we found it to: 1. Be very spacious 2. Clean 3. No lines at all on a Saturday afternoon 4. Well stocked No complaints! read more

It's a Target. I love Target. Therefore I love this Target. Only thing that would make it better is if it was a Super Target.

I'm completely baffled that there are no reviews for this Target...am I in the twilight zone?? So, this is a decent sized Target, two levels with several huge elevators and the escalator with the ever-fascinating shopping cart track. It seems to me they have an unusually large section for women's apparel, especially outerwear and pjs/loungewear. Women's clothing, toys and groceries on the top floor.... menswear, sporting goods and electronics on the bottom floor. Kudos for intelligent layout! I find this location to be well stocked and well staffed, and never have to wait more than 2 people or so in a checkout line. There is parking around the back of the wheaton plaza that puts you at the mall entrance closest to the Target entrance. Once the Costco opens up though, that whole backside is going to be a zoo! Enjoy it while you can. read more
