I came in here just to browse, kind of look around to see what was available to take notes on. What actually happened was I looked, I grabbed, and continued to grab items until I realized that I had more items in my hands than I thought I did. It would have been stupid of me to not purchase them now since I was already here. I had been looking for a cheap hand mirror and wasn't willing to pay the prices I have seen elsewhere. I didn't even consider Five Below as a place to look for this. Like I said, I wasn't intending on purchasing items here, but alas, I did. The one huge thing I do not enjoy about Five Below is that the items I seem to purchase I have to go and run and purchase another one mere months later.

Another item that I often will buy at 5 below is their incense. The self-checkout is super nice. The only thing is that they have a section in the back that has items over $5. Why call your store 5 below? Some of their items that are priced at $5 would make sense to be priced more at $3 like a small toy car for instance. It seems they default to having the item $5 even when it should be less. The squishmellows that I mentioned earlier were 5.95 instead of just $5 as an example of things not being $5. The pricing was not labeled at all.

If you have an Old Navy card, you can accumulate points and coupons. I got an extra 15% off since it was my birthday. I didn't notice anything that made the store "an outlet." But I liked all the choices I had with pants, tops and casual clothing. I love the dressing rooms. It is worth downloading the app and earning Old Navy points. All the stores do that whether it's an outlet or not. You can also earn points through Simon, the mall points program.

The items are typical for a Five Below, but as other reviews have stated the prices have gone up. I can verify that a lot of the items in here are now over $5. Kind of like $5.55 Below now. There are items less than the fiver dollar mark, but those aren't a steal anymore. You can find those at any other store anymore. Dollar Tree, Dollar General, even Target which is a few stores down from this. I'm not sure why, but this store has a division going on now. I am so used to the stores that flowed, but it's like going into a different space where they have the home and pet items. It even felt like that for the snack section, like it was divided off from everything else. Then there are the registers. It's all self checkout now. There is one register that appears that someone can run it, but there is never anyone behind it. They actually stand in the midst of the self checkouts directing traffic. Just carry your items out of here too once you are done or be charged for a bag.
