I visited this store for an updated bra fitting and to purchase an everyday bra. As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a store associate named Ipti (apologies if I've misspelled her name). She provided white-glove service throughout the entire fitting process. She was patient, receptive to my feedback, and made me feel comfortable during the process. I especially appreciated that she always asked for permission before entering the fitting room, demonstrating a thoughtful awareness of consent in a very personal setting. Ipti provided me a wide variety of bra styles and prices. she was receptive to feedback and would pivot based off my feedback. Once I finished the fitting and wanted to browse the store on my own, she clearly explained the store layout and different sections. At checkout, she carefully wrapped my purchase and attached care and cleaning instructions to my receipt, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. Overall, the store was clean and well-organized. The prices were higher than stores like Victoria's Secret for example, but the quality of the products, brands, and personalized service make for that cost difference. It was clear that the business genuinely wanted customers to leave with products that have quality and work well. The only note really from me on the layout was a room in the back left corner of the store that looked different from the rest of the store and had its door wide open. I wasn't sure whether it was a stockroom or part of the shopping. If it is a staff-only space, some additional signage or keeping the door shut might help avoid confusion for first-time visitors. Another thing I noted was that I was able to hear the employees in the backrooms discussing another employees background check. I LOVE to gossip but having these conversations where customers can hear could be deemed unprofessional and someone could abuse this information. These ladies are the NICEST! I've gone there for fittings/purchases and bra repairs. Strangely I thought I knew all there was to know about bras, having worn them my whole adult life. It turns out I did not (example-it's not the straps that provide support but the band). So I left with an education too. It wasn't weird in the fittings (I was nervous it would be but they were very kind and matter of fact). I also assumed I'd be in the tiny percentage of women who was wearing the correct bra size. I was not. I am also surprised that a correctly sized bra changes your silhouette and makes you look noticeably thinner. If you are hesitating going for a fitting, try it. You deserve a proper garment and it's not awkward. And truly the bra prices aren't much higher in many cases than what you'd find at a department store (plus they last longer). My only recommendation, and I don't know if this is possible, but make an appt if you'd like a fitting. It was busy the day I went and I had to wait a bit. Otherwise, no notes. read more

I came in today hoping they had silicone free strapless bras as I am allergic to silicone grippers that are used in strapless bras. While they didn't have it, Nicole was very friendly. She had suggested trying Aerie since I am petite to which I told her that I had tried there but that one of the bra band was too tight for the cup size I needed. She was helpful and suggested getting a bra extender if the band was too tight. What a great solution. Wow. I have been searching for a bra that truly fit for years. Katie took the time with me today to really workshop it, measured me, tweaked sizes and straps and styles until we finally found bras (and even a supportive swimsuit!) that fit properly. I am a large-breasted woman with a small ribcage: most other stores don't even carry my size. I really mean it when I say I almost cried with relief and joy. My past experiences at VS, Soma, ThirdLove and other bra retailers were frustrating and fruitless. Measuring myself countless times and still receiving bras that don't fit. Salespeople bringing me bra after bra until the manager finally comes and says "we don't have bras in your size here, please try [insert other specialty bra store]." It was disheartening and maddening. Finally - I don't have to be spilling out of the cups or pinched here and there. I felt comfortable, beautiful, and understood. I had a really wonderful experience at Bra La La, and the wonderful lady who helped me was Kaitlyn. She measured and helped me try on every single bra that she recommended and really listened to me in terms of what style that I want. The entire process was quick, but I didn't feel rushed. I had my first visit to Bra-la-la this past weekend and it was by far the best bra shopping experience I've ever had! I have had large breasts for all of my life and it has been a headache trying to find bathing suits and bras to fit. I was happy to finally find a boutique that was close enough to not only measure me correctly but have my size (42M) in stock. I was even happier when I saw they were going to have the Elomi representative at the boutique to show their swimwear. I was able to get 2 bathing suit tops that I can finally wear without a bra. Even more exciting was hearing that if I choose a bathing suit that needed more support Bra la la had bathing suit bras in stock that I could wear under my suit. The ladies there are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a quality product be sure to check them out. Late post. I am new to the neighborhood and noticed this store while doing errands. I was looking for another store to purchase bras. I am unhappy with my current ones, so I decided to after reading the other reviews on Yelp. I visited this store a few weeks ago and I met with Elizabeth. She was very helpful with all my questions and very patient with helping me select a few bras. It turns out depending on the brand, my bra size varies. The price range for the bras that I tried on were $50 and up. Overall, I was very happy with my visit. The service was excellent and now I have bras that are comfortable. I came to Bra-La-La with my aunt yesterday afternoon (7/3/15). A friend of hers told her about the store, and my aunt is a regular customer. When I walked into the store, the atmosphere of the store is feminine, especially with the vintage chairs and shelves lined with accessories and bridal lingerie pieces. The associates are very friendly. One associate that helped me out was Alexis. She understood that this was my first time in the store, so she did the measurements in order to find the perfect bra. I tried on almost 6 bras until Alexis found the perfect bra!!! She also helped my aunt with a few bras as well. After my aunt purchased my bra and hers, Alexis gave me directions on how to take care of my bras. My aunt told me that you can't just pick up any bra at BLL like you would at Victoria's Secret, Macy's or Nordstrom, which is good. Overall, I was very satisfied. This store deserves 5 stars for excellent service, and Alexis deserves a raise!!! I wish they would open a Bra-La-La boutique in Frederick, as well as other cities in the US!! Thank Goodness for Bra La La! This store is wonderful and Elizabeth is truly a fitting expert. She makes you feel comfortable and can find the perfect fit for your ladies. I had previous frustrations from other stores including Victoria's Secret, Soma, etc. But Elizabeth knew exactly what to do and was able to help me find the proper support right away. I was there less than twenty minutes which was a fraction of the time compared to the frustrations I had at other stores coming back empty handed. The store has a surprising large collection for such a small store front. They also have bras for larger ladies that don't make you feel like you're wearing a chest harness for an older lady. They do run some great specials, but the prices are high. However, for the service you get it's worth it. Thank you Bra La La and thank you Elizabeth! Came here in the late afternoon on a weekday on a mission to find a strapless bra for my well-endowed, plus-sized self. Not an easy task anywhere, but I need one for a wedding this summer and my current one is years old and probably never fit me properly. My hopes were high-ish for this place, and they certainly delivered! I was helped immediately, taken straight to a fitting room for sizing. Was a little surprised to be taking my shirt off seconds after walking in the door, but my fitter was totally professional and kind, and made me feel way more comfortable than I thought possible. She immediately told me a size way different from what I thought I was (typical, right?), brought me three bras, and the second one fit like a dream, which I also really didn't think was possible for a strapless bra. All in all, it was a professional, lovely experience. Compared to chain stores (*cough*Victoria's Secret*cough*), I found the fitting better, the atmosphere more welcoming, and the quality of product higher. They have a lot of options for all sizes, and also specialize in post-mastectomy bras. They appear to have everything from sexy lingerie to functional shapewear to typical daywear and anything in between, in both bras and panties. The only con I have is that the prices are high, but I think it's definitely worth it -- obviously, since I bought a bra -- but it probably won't be my go-to place for more than specialty items or splurges until I'm in a slightly different pay grade. This is a great boutique to purchase bras, robes and lingerie. Both bridal and everyday items. Nicole helped my mother and I, she is very knowledgeable and picked out some great items from us. I ended up with a beautiful bridal robe and slip. I would definitely recommend this shop and go back in the future :) My only negative comment would be that I asked if they had any promotions, rather than being told about promotions and discounts. So this place is better than other bra fitting places I've been, in that they actually acknowledged that perhaps the numbers aren't everything - but the fitter I had seemed to not be trained very well. I was measured with my bra still on, which doesn't make sense to me since if I'm wearing the wrong size then my measurements wouldn't be accurate. But then the fitter tried to put me in a larger band size - only by 2 inches, which is better than some places that tried to convince me I wore a 34 band size, but still 2 inches too many. She then told me several bras I tried on fit when they obviously did not - quad boob over the top, side boob flowing out the sides of the cups. I went against my instinct and bought several bras, but returned them for store credit the next weekend (they don't do returns, only store credit within 10 days). However, the experience itself was quite nice. The store front was welcoming and neat. I was whisked into a dressing room that had a comfortable bench and a half-robe hanging from the wall. The clerk brought me a selection of bras in a variety of styles and price points, from $35 to $120 and brought me other bras when I requested more that were under $50 I would recommend before going in that you do some measuring yourself to know what around what size you should be wearing, and know signs of an ill-fitting bra. The store does have a very good selection of sizes, and actually carried 30 bands in cup sizes larger than a C. read more

Bra la la is amazing. I went here to get a nursing bra. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and taken back to a fitting room. After being fitted I was given the nursing bra they carried and shown other maternity bras. I had previously looked at the same exact nursing bra at Nordstrom for 69.00 (not incl tax), I ended up getting it for 55.00 here, including tax! I will be returning here. I just had the fastest, most successful bra fitting with Merry at Bra-La-La. I'm historically very difficult to fit. My record is over a dozen bras at Nordstrom before leaving empty handed. She asked me what I learned from previous fittings, what worked, what didn't, and what I was looking for. She then returned with two perfect bras fitting my needs. We just had to change sizes to slightly tweak one. I've never had such good luck. She's a bra whisperer. Very impressed with this boutique shop! At 33 I went for my first bra fitting today. I was greeted by two friendly women upon arrival, all smiles. Christine took care of me from start to finish - first measuring me then going to retrieve 6-8 bras for me to try. She explained how a higher quality bra should feel when it fits correctly and checked out each one I tried on to explain the fit. Also, Christine was not pushy or sales-y. I did not feel pressured to buy anything. The bras sold themselves. She was thorough in explaining how to properly take care of the items (washing, drying, storing in closet, etc) to extend the life of the bra. I enjoyed her positive energy and her sincere interest in helping me find the perfect fit. I walked out with 4 beautiful and well-made bras, ranging from $60 to $72 each. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. So I went into this store earlier this year. I was starting a new job, and needed a couple decent bras. First of all, the price-point. I was expecting it to be higher than places like Victoria's Secret, but I was not expecting it to be as high as it was. Over $100 for a single bra? Are you kidding me?? The person never asked if I had a price-point - seemingly just brought out some expensive ones, hoping they'd fit. After trying on several bras that fit seemingly well in the store, I ended up with 3 - at a cost of over $250! I figured it would be worth it if they were comfy and lasted, but they were quite the opposite. I wore one of the wireless bras to work within a few days, and ended up with a bruise so bad under my arm that I was in pain for a week. On another one, the mesh straps rubbed on me so bad that I ended up with red marks where the straps went. In both cases, wearing my other bras was extremely uncomfortable for the next week. I didn't even try to wear the 3rd one - leaving the tags on, waiting for a free minute to bring them back. Now mind you, I am a single mom working 3 jobs, and in grad school. Time is not exactly something I have a lot of. So when I finally had a chance to bring back the bras, I thought they'd at least try to accommodate me, right? They're a reputable small-business who values their reputation and clientele, and wants to do everything possible to keep them happy, right? WRONG. Not just wrong - DEAD WRONG. The first lady that I spoke to looked at me like I had 10 heads for trying to bring them back. Then she tried to tell me that the bra was too small, and added extra enhancers to the closure. Now please tell me how bra enhancers are going to help with a piece of material DIGGING INTO MY RIBS or mesh hurting my shoulders?? Also, if the bra is too small, isn't that your error? Aren't you a SPECIALTY BRA STORE and supposed to be able to size people properly?? I didn't want my money back - but I was hoping that I would at least be offered a store credit. Instead, I was told that they could donate the bras (a loss of $250 for me), and that was all. I finally asked for a manager who with the worst customer service ever (and 15 minutes of arguing), finally gave me a store credit. I walked out in disgust. Seriously, folks. You're better off a Victoria's Secret, where you can get 3 bras for the price of 1 here, and you'll have both a better customer service experience, and a better return policy. Obviously I can't attest to their fitting services but I can say how great the selection is and attest to the helpfulness of the staff. They ask the right questions and make me feel comfortable about my answers when buying things for my wife. She loves her silk pajamas and wears them all the time. She also loves the varieties of colors and styles that she wears regularly and those that she might wear on special occasions. They also do a great job with the October celebration Pink Nite that they do in Maple Lawn which is a lot of fun and helpful to women's charities. I came in looking for a specific item in my size before my bridal gown shopping a week away. I called ahead and they assured me that they had several option for me. When I got there I had to sign in and wait a decent amount of time to get fitted, but they had gotten a couple customers before me that were taking a while so I didn't mind. The staff listened to my needs and asked questions I wouldn't think of like if my dress might be sweetheart. The second item the staff grabbed me fit perfectly but she was willing to bring more items to try on if I wanted to compare. I didn't but the offer was appreciated. The staff were very personable and I didn't feel like they were trying to get me to buy a bunch of unnecessary extras.
