Back then, Chipotle was like 4 bucks and us poor students thought that was too much money. Some businesses have come and gone and some have remained - CVS, Coldstone, Domino's, Noodles, Starbucks... maybe I'm missing a few but these are the major ones. R.I.P. Rugged Warehouse, Wawa, and some video rental store (who remembers that?) There's now a Five Guys, CAVA and Jason's Deli. There's ample parking, but be aware that it's enforced (free on Sundays). If you've gone there for lunch in the past for a quick bite before you had to get back to work Don't bother there is nowhere to park for you and if you double park even for a second there is a meter made walking around the parking lot regularly ready to give you a ticket. If you are not on foot or construction worker apparently this shopping center is no longer for you. I am literally here at least 3 times a week and they have never steered me wrong, I always find what I need and I am in and out. Especially when I order groceries with Drive-up. The one thing I will say is that Target is obviously not a "groceries first " kind of place because when they are out of stock on a food item, it usually stays that way for a while. I'm not sur eif that is a location or brand issue though.

Long story short, after the inquiry and leaving one cashier in Exchanges and Returns, to go and take a picture of the sign because she didn't believe me, come back and stand in line again, the "manager' Jada did not honor the sign for the same brand - Wonder shop socks - saying the ones I selected (circled in the pic) that were in the SAME section as the 40% off SIGN, did not apply to the sale but were 20% on the app. Huh??? Target - do better! Hire smarter people or be clear about the signage in your stores. I saw the same sign at a store in Ashburn as well. All of those women working on 12/22/24 at 11:30am at that R&E counter were Despicable!!!! Poorest customer service ever.

I couldn't actually find the place vis GPS because it's actually in a larger building. Being a clueless tourist, I called and Tess kindly gave me some directions... they are across from Ledo pizza! Parking is available in the back. When I came in, Tess greeted me and ended up showing me around the store! It features an amazing assortment of fun, locally made, crafty artsy items like magnets, cards, clothes and much more. It's really pretty large and quite fun to explore. I bought artsy, unique, colorful Maryland and DC fridge magnets because my fridge door is not quite full and we love the area. Lucy helped us on our second visit and was also gracious and welcoming. They have a large assortment of in-house made flavorings for lattes so my wife was very happy. My pure double espresso hit the spot and got me going! Life is great with a fun, unique, local coffee shop.

Every collection of products that's there has a picture of the local artisan, their social media, what city they're based in, and a short quote. It's fantastic! I found some local hot sauces and got my dad a gift box of them for Father's Day (don't tell)! There are a few big crafting tables where it would appear that they have a schedule of crafting classes. Sounds like a really cool group activity. And there's still more --- they have a quaint cafe on the back wall! I got myself a caramel brownie, almond croissant, and chocolate croissant. The brownie was fantastic -- I'll report back on the other two, but I have high hopes. Drinks are available too. Aside from the crafting tables, you may have to take your stuff outside to snack. I'm unsure whether you can sit at those tables with food & drink -- I should've asked!

Now, I'm sad GameStop and August 32 are gone, but some things have taken their place like a new juice bar and a new chicken spot. Speaking of, the mall feeling dated is still very much a thing. Upon first impressions this place looks massive and impressive. It is not your traditional mall in the sense that the anchor stores aren't what you expect. Here you have a grocery store and big box anchoring the plaza. Giant is on the one end while you have Target on the other. The rest of the stores within are a mix of national brands and local stores. I say that this place reminds me of the stores/malls in the Zohan movie. The names of the stores is what brings this to mind. It does have it's high points here, i.e., they have a movie theater, ample parking, and plenty of stores. However, they do have their low points too. Several stores have closed since I was here last. Z Burger and TJMaxx are noticeably missing. They do still seem to keep pulling in and opening up newer stores. Not sure how they are capable of doing that, but they are. It is a great place for a distraction.

I really enjoyed it and took my time. This place was well organized and well stocked with the items they had on hand. I was able to leisurely browse about and find items with ease. I wasn't here for anything in particular, but I did have a list in my head of items I might need. I went to each section of the store just to see what they had and found myself with a few more items than my arms could carry. I took that as a cue that I should probably make my way up front to pay and get out of here. Employees were super polite and helpful. Checking out here was a breeze and I had my items in hand quickly.

We're here for Hard Times Café mostly, but I've had Mama Lucia's before and it's solid pizza. I'd dig the Home Depot and Shoppers Food Warehouse being in the same place as well, if I lived close enough. There's actually a parking garage downhill, which makes the whole thing a bit odd, but I have to imagine it's a boon during move-in week. Oh, and there's a Starbucks too. I mean... it's a Starbucks. Doesn't that automatically make the joint convenient? Speaking of convenience, it's located on Cherry Hill Rd., and NOT directly off of Route 1! Could you imagine the traffic if it were? That's actually a great feature about the place. It's pretty easy to get in and out of. So, it's awesome for having the chili joint that we love, but also for the other services here too.
