Compared to a competitor a couple of doors down, this is like night and day. This location was so well organized and well lit that it felt like a luxury to shop here. I really enjoyed it and took my time. This place was well organized and well stocked with the items they had on hand. I was able to leisurely browse about and find items with ease. I wasn't here for anything in particular, but I did have a list in my head of items I might need. I went to each section of the store just to see what they had and found myself with a few more items than my arms could carry. I took that as a cue that I should probably make my way up front to pay and get out of here. Employees were super polite and helpful. It's grandma and granddaughter day! When grandma says she needs to get out you go. Marshall's it is, I was pleased. There were two people in the front (both masked) with gloves greeting people and another person cleaning the carts. All of the aisles have stickers telling you which direction to go. Marshalls, well this one in particular, requires some patience. First, because they always have long lines and if the lines are not long, there is a wait because there is only one staff member at the checkout. But, also you need patience because Marshalls is a retail smorgasbord, which can get messy and/or chaotic. Sometimes you come here and there is only one item of the thing you want and another one is no where to be found, which can be a gift and a curse. I like to peruse here particularly for reasonably priced athletic gear (Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc.), flats for work, and some household items (accent pillows, area rugs, bathroom/living room decor, etc.). It is not always a win when you come here, but when it happens, it is pretty exciting; to me, at least. And they have some of everything, even snacks. read more

Not a bad location! I like bargains so I've been shopping here off and on for years. A few days ago I stopped by since I was shopping at other stores in the mall. I was really on a hunt for a coat. No coat found here but did snag some cute flats and sneakers! For the price, can't beat it! Customer service was good. They are practicing social distancing - there's limit on store capacity! I just can't find much at this location. The selection isn't great and the line is always long. I can't recommend it. I feel like the Marshalls at PG Plaza is much better. I do disagree, however, with the reviews that said this location is in the ghetto. WTF? This is not the ghetto and the area is fine. It's just diverse. I'm shopping there a lot, but today it's was very hot day I probably hot dehydrated. I was in register perches in products and suddenly start feeling very week I had dizziness so I told the lady in the register to give a chear I was sheking. She didn't even was worried and want to help and told me to seet on the floor. I went to shoe department to sit and relax. There was nice guy working and because I was very weak I ask him to help me and walk me to the car. He ask same lady apperntly she was the manager to go help me . And she told him do not help me . The guy went and helped me anyway. This was very bad what she did. Never going back there again. And I hope she never will be in this situation because it's mizirble to be feeling like this and olso I hope the management will hire better people. read more

Last week I went to Hanes/Bali/Whatever where I had another fitting and learned that I have achieved an even harder to fit bra size. Yay. And they had one bra in my size. Double Yay. I wasn't looking forward to shopping at a department store because, as you know, decent can keepers are not cheap. (And if you don't know, why are you reading this review? Perv.) But I left the store with six new bras that range from Sensible & Safe For Work to Damn the Torpedoes! Also, if I didn't mention it before - Their staff is great, which you might not expect from the fact that everything is rather chaotic. read more

I found the end table I've been searching for for months now, plus a lamp I didn't know I needed. At least I can cross them off my interior decorating project list. This store is usually full of goodies for women and men. The girls and babies department and their dining (dishes+pots) ware has gone downhill over the last 3 years. It is very difficult to find clothing and shoes for the older kids (size 7-16girls clothing/shoes) although they do have a good selection for the toddlers both girls and boys. The women's shoes and purses are always a mess, but the selection is good. It seems that they are always short of personnel no matter what day and time you're in there. Also, beware that if you plan on spending more than 30 minutes at this Greenbelt location plan to wear summer clothing or a bathing suit because it turns into a sauna. No matter what season the store is boiling hot. I have alerted management and they blame it on the mall, but that is false because they control their own heating/cooling. Cooling is non-existent in the summer months too. read more

This store has great staff. They're friendly and will always help if asked. Customer service on items that may be damaged a little or a lot is excellent. All three of the store managers work very hard and are true professionals. There is a black lady who speaks French, an Asian lady, and a white lady names Cheryl. They are amazing. This store should be an example for some of the bad ones like the Rockville store. Thank you for being such good people while you work so hard to deliver to the customers! Reviewers who wrote that the store is "in a scary or ghetto area" are clearly not exposed to urban locales with real people. The area is filled with nice everyday, diverse, individuals and crime has not ever been an issue. read more

Beware of the layaway department... the employees are stealing items from your layaway. You put items in the layaway and go back before the pick up date. When the store clerk brings your layaway out for final pickup you discover that your original items are either missing or swapped out for items you never chose. So far I have only experienced this at the Greenbelt store. Take pics of your merchandise before you put it in the layaway. Make sure you capture pics of the tag with the item codes and price to match with your clothing when you pick up your final layaway. read more

Very bad customer service, I purchased over $200 worth of merchandise and was given a trash bag for the items purchase. They clearly had bags everyone else was walking out the store with them. The entire store was a mess. So hard to find what you are looking for. Very Disappointed. read more
