They have everything from hair products (new school and the OG products), hair accessories, braiding hair, wigs and even some beauty products. I know I can get everything for my hair at this store. Staff is pretty helpful and help guide you to what you need if you are unable to find it. The music they play in there is all good too.

Wow, I was completely impressed with Kaysi Beauty and may never go to Sally's Beauty Supply again,…read moreunless I have to. This store is VAST! And they had an amazing selection of everything I was looking for [mostly]. I needed a bonnet, and there were almost too many to choose between, but I finally picked on. It was $3.99, about half the price I paid for a bonnet at Sally's. I also purchased a small pack of rubberbands, and a specific kind of Eco Gel. Since the store is so big, I did ask for help finding things, and the sales associate there was very helpful in directing me, and later in answering my inane questions and providing advice. Everything I bought was less than $10, so that was exciting. Will definitely return!

The inside is not on par with the expectations of Columbia; no class, kind of like a junk drawer of things. This is not high end at all. It looks very similar to the beauty supply store you'd see in the depths of the hood. Although aesthetically unappealing, this is my go to place for conditioner, combs & gel. Prices are decent, sales are rare, rewards card is absent.

It also wasn't hard at all, I loved the streamlined process. They have a great team here. The owner Chanel was great to communicate with beforehand. She had timely responses, answered all my questions, and was very accommodating. She's also a Cosmetic Chemist, so she knows her stuff! Madison was our instructor and wow, everyone loved her. She had great energy, knew the pigments and process like the back of her hand, and anytime someone showed her a picture of how they wanted their gloss to look like, she knew immediately what they should add to get it there. The suite was also so cute! This is perfect for celebrating a birthday, bridal shower, Galentine's Day, or a random girls day. This is also something you can do solo or with 1 other friend (there are individual tickets and group tickets). Everything was clean too and there was parking for everyone. The price is $65 per person which is a good deal. Something cool they also now offer is take home kits where you can do it at home. If you do the kit at home, it's $65 for 2 people $125 for 4 people. This is an awesome spot with great service, so I can't wait to do it again!

The class instruction was humdrum. We were done within about 40 minutes for an hour class. For the price point, I expected more from the experience. I've done similar classes to create fragrances. These classes were more educational, engaging, and interactive.

On one prior visit, there was a hair sale going on. The curly was $1.00 per foot, but it was a minimum purchase of eight feet. Hmmm. Ok. I'm game. ....time passing... I still have five feet of that stuff left. Whew hew. Today, when I stopped by for a new satin pillow case ($3.99) (heh, just got my 'hur did'), I also found myself drawn to a pair of neon pink lurex leggings. You know, Mardi Gras is coming. In the end, I did not buy them because they didn't have my size. They are a tiny bit skittish about pictures inside so don't look for a lot of those but I will be back to this place again and again. And you should swing by, too, because I'm a fan. Oh, I'm docking a star because of the weird and difficult parking lot.

It looks like they are replacing the old staff with people who do not speak sufficient English, know little to nothing about hair/weave, and are only interested in selling "something" to a customer, instead of helping them find exactly what they're looking for. I came in looking for good quality glue-in hair to match my highlights (which had gone from a ghastly fuchsia to a really cute 1B 33). I also wanted loose curls or loose waves, since I was going on vacation. After roaming around the store for a few minutes, I finally found someone who worked there and asked her to send someone over to assist me. She sends over this Asian woman who spoke hardly any English. Great... After much gesturing, I was able to communicate what I was looking for. She disappeared behind a set of boxes behind the counter and I thought she was looking for the hair I asked for. She was gone an unusually long time, so I walked over to see what she found for me. Turns out, homegirl was on the phone having a personal conversation. I looked at her like "Really?" and she had the nerve to smile and give me the "Hold on, I'll only be a minute" hand. No ma'am. After several more minutes of waiting for her to get off the damn phone, I finally asked the girl at the register to help me. She walked behind the counter and the Asian woman told her she helping me. I said to her, "No, you're on the phone" and told the Ethiopian lady what I needed. She was not much better. I told her the color and style I wanted, showed her my hair, and she proceeded to pull out everything I did not want. I asked for 1B 33 hair, she showed me a pack of the ugliest "33" hair I've ever seen. No 1B in it at all. And it was straight. I specifically said (several times) that I did not want straight hair. She proceeds to pull out other styles that clearly do not match my color. Finally she told me, "Well you should just get 30 or 430, because that's all we have". Wait...let me get this straight. Since your supply is inadequate and insufficient, I should just go out with my hair not matching and looking a hot mess because 'that's all you have'? Ok... The experience I had here was unacceptable. And it is not the first time the customer service has been lacking, but this has definitely been the worst. If you don't have what I need, then say so. If you need to take a call, then say so. Sistas spend way too much damn money in here to be bothered with this kind of foolishness. The customer service was the main reason I'd travel unfathomable distances to spend my money here. Those days have come to an end. They can kiss my money goodbye.
