I was out here visiting my daughters and for Breezy Bowl and stumbled upon this beauty supply after leaving the store. It's huge. Has everything you need. I only went to browse, but ended up making a purchase of black soap, edge control, and a half-wig. Although I live in CA, their price seems fair and comparable. I spent around $57 for a Sensationell half wig (micro-fiber), Ebin Edge Control, and two Black Soaps. read more

OH EMMMM GEEEEEEEE! I am so so so in love with this place. The girls and I arrived with the idea of killing time before our dinner reservations but wound up nearly being late to dinner because WE COULD NOT STOP SHOPPING! KC Beauty is a true gem baby, seriously. If you're looking for anything beauty related, you are in the right place. Oils, body mists, hair products, hair itself, little pickups that you didn't even know you need - AND MORE. The staff was very friendly, not being invasive of your space even when you may appear as if you're lost in the store lol. Overpriced, Poor Customer Service with Hostile and Rigid policies. You'd be better off going to any other beauty supply store in Laurel. Firstly, the same wig I purchased at KC Beauty was 3 times cheaper at another beauty supply store in the area. So chances are, if you're shopping at KC Beauty YOU ARE WASTING MONEY AND GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I purchased a wig and it simply did not look or feel like the model wig that was on the floor. No one told me verbally that all wigs are final sale, which is misleading and to me, indicates that they are willing to be combative with customers if they have any issues - which they were. I came back to return the wig because it wasn't wearable; it truly looked terrible - maybe because the color I purchased was different from the model wig. The manager took me through an unnecessary process of explaining to me that they can't control how the wigs vary in condition - which is unacceptable because now that you are aware that this particular wig does in fact look different from the floor model (she took the wig out, placed it on a mannequin and compared it to the model) then that should be considered IF you cared about your customers. It's clear this place has disdain for their customer base and if you'd like to spend money with a business that is forthright about their policies and doesn't have "gotcha" tactics then DONT SHOP AT KC BEAUTY. I simply left the wig at the store because it was trash...the manager yelled after me to not dispute the charge. This shows you how little respect these people have for their customers to accuse an unhappy customer of doing something illegal. It's actually gross that the manager said that to me. read more

Everyone swore by Amazon to get a good wig... something told me to go to KC Beauty, when I went in the service was quick and the associates in addition to the General Manager was attentive to my needs! needless to say I was sold on Two wigs will be back for my other two...in 8 more days..& counting.She found the perfect wig and color...for tonight... Absolutely amazing beauty SUPERSTORE!!! I was like a kid in a candy store the first time I came here and today is no different. They have EVERYTHING needed to care for your hair, wig, extensions, etc. I came specifically for Joico moisture rich shampoo, conditioner and K-Pak along with conditioning caps of course. Let me also mention how friendly, professional, and HELPFUL everyone I came in contact with has been! They also have a points/rewards system that makes it worth coming out here to Laurel. While waiting for my meeting to start, I noticed a beauty supply was next to the Panera in Market Place Shopping Center. Umm, this isn't your average beauty supply! It's so reminiscent of a Sephora or an Ulta. Spacious, bright, neat, and tons of items to choose from. They have everything from wigs to make-up, hair care products to nail care, curling irons to blow-dryers. Looking for anything beauty care wise...they have it! The prices are a bit more than your average neighborhood beauty supply, but nothing too outrageous. The staff was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I entered and checked on me while I was browsing. They have so much stuff in the store that you can stay in there for a while and get lost. I did pick-up a few items that I thought were pretty unique. I frequent that shopping center for various other shopping needs when I'm in the area, so I can absolutely see myself coming here in the future. Great find! read more

I just wanted to exchange the item, but store person refused to help assist me bc of the store policy. He would even allow me to use my cc.
